"Oh.. I see.. Sorry for asking.." Streampaw sighed, noticing that Batpaw got more silent. The feline knew that it was a mistake to ask, and now she regretted it. Her ears seemed to lower a bit, upset that she had caused Batpaw to be sad or uncomfortable. She tried to change the subject into a happier one, meowing, "Well.. about your warrior name.. What would you like it to be? We're going to be warriors soon, aren't you excited?" "No need." He murmurs, ears rising up. "It's all over now. If I could bring her back, I would have a long time ago." He stretched his legs and shoulders. The tall black apprentice stared up at the pretty sky. "I can't believe it's soon...it felt like only yesterday it was my first time as an apprentice." He chuckled. "Hm...as for name, maybe Batflight? Or Batfang. I have no preference, but those two I'd be very satisfied with." He purrs very gently. "When you become a warrior, what is the first thing you want to do? I want to go outside of camp all by myself or with you. Of course, after the vigil." |

Poppypaw nodded to Hawkpaw sadly and slowly walked away from her friend," poor Blacknose.. He looks so sad.."the she-cat sighed and sat down away from everyone else, Cinderpaws death really seemed to be getting to her. "Don't worry, soon every cat will always remember her as a brave and loyal cat!", Hawkpaw said sadly to his crush following her to comfort her. Hawkpaw was sad for Cinderpaw's death, but hopefully every cat will get through it sooner or later. ((Rp anyone?)) "Batflight sounds like a nice name." Streampaw purred happily, "But Batfang is nice too, I hope you get the name you want." "And I'd probably want to go outside of camp as well.. I just hope I don't mess up too much when I'm outside." The gray she-cat lowered her ears a bit, remembering that she won't become a warrior if she failed her assessment. The young apprentice sighed, her ears flattening even more. "I give those wishes to you too." He commented, his ears as always flicking around. "Don't be down on yourself. Look at how far you have come. This is the worst time to be down on yourself." He mewed, confidence in his eyes. "I'm your friend and clanmate. I will always support you." He vowed, gently nudging her. " I want to see all of the apprentices thrive and feel good about themselves. You are no different." It was a strain to his throat to try speaking as much,waving his jaw to hang open to let the cool air go down his throat. He shriveled up for a moment, before shaking his body. "You'll definitely make it. Not even the leader was perfect for her assessment, I guarantee it. It will be no different than training." |

(This weekend I may be going to New York, driving up on Friday, staying at my grandma's house on Saturday, and driving back on Sunday. The trip from here to there and vice versa takes 12 hours, so I will most likely miss the gathering. However, we may postpone the trip until next weekend. Either way, I wanted to notify you all.  ) |

Streampaw appreciated Batpaw's comforting words, smiling at him. She meowed, "Thanks Batpaw. I'll try to be more positive. I'll try my best to become a warrior!" The apprentice admired Batpaw, seeing him as very kind and caring for his clanmates. She hoped the best for her clanmates, and it was nice for her to meet someone who thought so positively. "How do you think Littlestar messed up her warrior assessment?" Streampaw realized how rude that could sound as soon as the words left her mouth. She quickly corrected herself awkwardly, meowing, "I mean like.. what mistakes do you think she made?" "That's good." He replied back, a bit more cheerful. To have a good mental thought process took care of the physical portion, at least to him it did. It took Batpaw some thought, but once he got something in mind he replied to Streampaw. "It's hard to tell..but it's possible something as simple as missing prey could have been a slip up. The day I meet a flawless cat is the day I join StarClan." If he joined. "You want to see who else wants to hang out with us?" Batpaw mewed in questioning. "It will help boost self esteem and confidence in others, too. Maybe we can go over what we have learned so far." It suddenly struck him once more that Cinderpaw was dead. For a moment, his heart skipped a beat. Just like his own sister, Buzzardpaw, Cinderpaw would never become a warrior. |
