'Gunner, fetch.' Maddie said, watching as the dog stopped barking and retrieved the weapons one by one, dropping them at her feet. She stepped over them and put the safety back on her gun, sliding it into her Hammock. 'Help me lift him Kori.' She said, walking over to the male and sliding an arm through his to lift him from the floor and take him to a box. He went willingly, the pain of the wound putting his body into a state of shock. He blankly looked up at her when they sat him down, his eyes wide. She felt harsh guilt tugging at her chest and gently tucked a strand of hair behind his ear, before retrieving her first aid kit. She cut away the fabric of his trousers to reveal the wound and silently cleaned away the excess gunpowder around the entrance wound, not too bothered about that part. She then moved to the more torn and larger exit wound, which was the one bleeding. She took a piece of cloth and pressed it hard against the wound, then made Kori hold it whilst she tied it there with bandages, thickly to ensure he wouldn't bleed through. She then looked up at Mercutio. 'You don't think these things through, do you?' She sighed, taking his hand.

(Now I have to come up with a reason Steven didn't kill the walker that was attacking her- xD)
Steven had taken a moment to relieve himself while Belle messed with the door. He assumed the store would have been safe so he slowly moved over to a dumpster a few steps off. However right as he began he heard Belle make a crashing sound like something. However walker, or no he wasn't about to run over to Belle with his you know what out. So he quickly finished, and zipped up his pants before grabbing his bat that had been leaning against the building. Once it was back in his hand he rushed over just in time to see Belle kill the walker quickly. If he was a normal human he'd probably feel guilty she almost died because he went to the bathroom however that wasn't Steven so he simply leaned on his bat, and studying the walker.
"You almost just became two-face from batman." Steven decided to say in a joking manner, this was just the kind of person he was. Why worry about it when everything ended up okay in the end, well almost okay his pants were a bit wet now from his quick rush over here. He stepped inside the store now moving over the mess on the ground. He did however use the walker attack as a basis for his next action. Shutting the door behind them he found a small mirror, and bashed it with his bat causing a loud echo to go through the store. They hadn't seen any walkers near the store plus the door would have cancelled out most of the noise anyways. However the ones inside would clearly hear it.
As planned three other walkers showed themselves after awhile, and Steven walked over to a big guy who was dressed like a fat cowboy. He slammed his bat into it's face sending it barreling backwards, and he followed it up with a harder smash this time it fell down for the count. He then walked over to a second one which was closeby, by the time he killed the first one. He slammed the bat into it's knee before smashing it's face. Finally he went over to the third one which was buried under a rack of clothes that prevented it from moving. He quickly bashed it's head in before returning to Belle.
"You should be good to shop til you drop now." Steven commented looking at her slightly before turning around to look around the store again. "You aren't gonna like change into a outfit, and make me comment on it are you?" He laughed turning back to her as he saw no dead in sight now. He had a few girlfriends who forced him to do that, and it was always funny because he'd always just say 'Sure, whatever.' As he waited for her response he turned around seeing a rack of men's jeans nearby when made him cringe inside, however his cargo pants were compromised now, and he wasn't about to walk back to the school in them. He walked over to them, and placed his bat down so he could grab a pair of blue jeans that look his size, and went to a small rack of boxers. Then not really caring if Belle saw him he changed into his new gear quickly. "So is this the go to place for all ya'll cowboy, and cowgirls?" He asked in a teasing texas accent as he walked to where Belle was now in his new gear.
(Hope this longer response make up for my poof~)

Belle didn't respond to his Batman comment. She wouldn't know who that is, mainly because she had never watched any of those super hero movies anyway. Superheroes seemed overrated. After all, what was so great about them? They wore their underpants on the outside, had ridiculous names like Manateeman, and had even worse powers like a super tongue or an elastic butt. Although, many people would beg to differ.
Inside, she merely watched Steven kill the other walkers. She would have done it, but frankly wasn't in the mood to. Belle had come too close to death to want to be near the dead now walking. Once it was clear though, she moved from behind the counter and to some belts and buckles. Belle had one of her barrel racing championship ones on but all the others were at her house, and Belle never wanted to go there again. It would have been to painful for her. These buckles though weren't the same. They were more on the simplistic side, since stores can't sell ones they gave out at rodeos or stock shows.
Belle's gaze moved to Steven for a fleeting moment when he asked about her trying them on. She never planned on it, not wanting to waste more time than they already have today just grabbing things they wanted rather than needed. "No. I don't normally do that, so you can relax." The corners of her lips went up in a small smile, but Steven probably couldn't see it since she was looking down. Belle turned around and went over to where they kept the shirts. That was what clothing article she needed most, and was almost too tempted to go after the cuter lace dresses or nicer shirts than what she needed. But Belle didn't want to spend hours here and listen to his complaining.
She turned her head while she looked through her usual plaid shirts that were up on racks when Steven used a cliche country accent. "Not necessarily. This just happens to be the nearest place unless you wanted to travel two hours into the next major city." She started to look at the shirts again but paused, "never do that accent aga-" she stopped herself when she looked at him once more. He was wearing blue jeans and not his other pants. "You changed?" She asked, switching the subject. Belle took one shirt off the rack that looked like it would fit her. The tag read adult small, which should fit her. Mainly because she was pretty thin now. Well, she was always thin but now she was thinner.
{It's all good ^^}

"Darn skippy I did little lass." Steven responded holding the top of the jeans like he'd seen country people do in movies. "All I need now to a big ole belt buckle." He was having a bit too much fun playing around, though he soon stopped as he looked around the store once more. He had never been inside any of these stores since he mainly just bought his stuff from wherever he saw a dumb looking shirt. The dumber the design the more he'd like it, in fact he was wearing a shirt of godzilla eating a popsicle at the moment though it was covered with guts so the picture wasn't really noticeable anymore.
After a few moments of just standing there he looked around the store soon finding a working cart that he dragged over to Belle. "No point in only grabbing one thing, might as well go wild so we don't have to come back for a while." He commented pushing the cart would be hard with zombies about, but it was better then Belle only grabbing like two outfits then needing to come back. He then once again disappeared into the store deciding he wanted to surprise Belle by putting on country git up just to see how she reacted to it. However after a bit of walking he couldn't really find anything that struck out to him so he decided to quickly put on a white tee shirt, and a brown cowboy like jacket that was located in the front of the store. He then went over to the hats, and was about to grab a cowboy hat when his eyes went to a fedora which caused him a to laugh a bit as the word 'edgy' came to mind. He flipped it on his head.
Upon returning to Belle he got his bat from the wall. "Done?" He asked her expecting a no in all honesty as he took off his backpack, and bent down to look inside. He was debating on getting high while he waited, it'd make the walk back even better in his mind.

Oh Steven, always being...Steven. There wasn't a word that came to mind to describe someone like him. He should come up with one because it would only make it more Steven-ified. She shook her head as he continued with his country accent and did the cliche country hold-the-top-of-your-jeans thing. "You won't find the good belt buckles here. You only get those from rodeos and stock shows." She lifted her shirt a little to show Steven her own. It had the words 'Dallas Barrel Racing Championship' engraved on it in small letters since the words were a bit large. Belle fixed her shirt again before going back to her browsing. She pulled out another two from the rack and held the hangers in her hand.
Belle stepped back from the clothes and studied them as she replied, "yeah, I'm done. I don't want too many, or that makes me look more privileged than everyone else." She nodded her head as if just deciding that that was her plan. She started walking slowly through the store and to the back again, taking in everything else they had to offer. If she could spend all day here she would, but that won't happen. She had things to do. Belle turned her head around to face Steven, "Are you coming?"

Steven looked up from the box hearing Belle, and then back at the box. "I'll catch up." He responded with as he pulled out some of the goodies inside. It took him a few minutes til he was done, but he quickly put the box back in the backpack before slinging over his shoulder, and grabbing his bat before running out of the store quickly catching up to Belle. He didn't really get why she only got a little, if the others got jealous they should just head out themselves, but that was just Steven so he didn't comment on it.
As they walked he jabbed his numb a bit as the thought of how it would work came to mind. After it healed more he'd be able to use it still if he ever got in a fight, though he was hoping he could talk Sonia into making him a device that would hook on to his numb, and have a blade connected to it. "I'm slowly turning into a pirate." He laughed randomly as the thought came to his mind. It was true enough he had the eye patch, and would soon get a hook arm. He just needed the peg leg though he was hoping that would be the one thing he didn't need ever, cause losing a leg would suck worse than an arm.

If Steven were to have smoked cigarettes, she wouldn't have minded that as much as drugs. That was probably the only thing Belle didn't like about Steven. It wasn't her place to tell him off about it though, she obviously wasn't his mother. She had to laugh at his remark, "If we co me across a costume store, we should look for a pirate costume. Just for s**** and giggles." She grinned as she made her way back onto the road. Her dad used to say that a lot, and she used to use a lot of his other little sayings. Her favorite was probably 'does a bear s*** in the woods?' To point out the obvious.
Yes, her family was quite the country family. However, they were back woods or rednecks. They didn't use ductape to fix everything. Although, it did come in handy at times. Belle went to a more serious tone though, "Steven, I never asked you about your family. What were they like?" She wanted to know his father's name, to see if it was Calvin. If it was, the two had to be related. Which, although she feared it, couldn't live in blissful ignorance.

(helloo. Sabby The Caddy sorry this took forever x) "Yeah, they aren't eye candy, that's for sure." Christine replied, her lips tugging into a quick smile. She gazed off into the arena where many bloodied unmoving walkers were slung across the floor, studying their faces. Each were a combination of swollen, morbid, skeleton, and sullen features; it would certainly be no surprise if it were impossible to discern their identities. When Elizabeth spoke up again, her eyes flitted back to attention. "Oh, of course, yeah." She said, moving over towards her with a lending arm. Christine remembered the route to the medical offices from previous trips both before the Apocalypse and post, so it was no trouble finding the destination. Pausing, she stopped by a wooden door frame that was lit by a dim hallway light. "I think this is it?" She leaned over testing the knob and peering through as it slung open slowly. "Yep."

(Yasss Gum you gave me a good ideal to bring in Steven's replacement without just saying *poof* later.)
"We should." Steven laughed trying to imagine people running into him on the street in full pirate get up. It'd be pretty funny he had to admit. However his mind snapped back to reality when Belle mentioned his family, it wasn't a question that was asked really since most the time it caused people to get upset, since they were dead most likely. He knew why she asked, right before he got bit Maddie had something about a man named Calvin. Steven didn't know for sure if it was his father, though he didn't really care if it was, or wasn't. "Uhhhhhh." He mumbled trying to think of what to say, he didn't know what she really wanted. He was around his mother most the time, and well he hadn't seen his dad in years after Steven discovered his father's little secret.
"Well my mom was a stripper." Steven laughed though it was the truth he didn't have a very good family set up, which answered a lot of questions about why he is the man he is now. "She got her got face tore off by a walker." He added despite the dark tone he laughed at the thought as he had been there when he saw it. "My step dad was a pretty cool guy, he owned a bar." He stated clearly as he flung his bat in the air, and caught it luckily where the bard wire wasn't. "He also died." He informed this time not really laughing he didn't hate his family, but he did dislike them. Expect for his stepdad he had been pretty cool. "I have a step-brother as well. He was a senior in are school. Played baseball a lot. Javier Martinez." He stated his step-brother's name just in case Belle knew him from school. Javier had been away on a college visit when the virus happened, which was way he wasn't here. Steven had no clue if Javier was alive, or not.
He stayed silent after that not sure what to say about his father. However at a few moments he sighed coming up with something. "My father was a strict man. I didn't see him much. He enlisted in the army when I was a kid, and he got captured by terrorists for a few years. By the time he was saved, and sent home my mom met Mr Martinez, and left my dad. She got custody of me." He began it was weird giving his life story to someone. "He went to a mental hospital, but soon got out. He then went back to teaching, and soon became a principal at some school..... Oh yea he was also the serial killer who was always in the newspapers." Steven informed finally deciding he no longer needed to keep his father's little secret. Despite how odd it sounded Steven wasn't lying, the town had been harassed by a serial killer who was never caught mainly because of the zombies. "He disowned me at some point." He finished laughing at the fact.
(Time to work on Javier~)
--------------------------------
(No worries. ^^)
Eliza followed her silently as she made sure not to bump into anything, it was easier when she had her dog. However Calvin didn't like too many animals so he had put down Eliza's dog since it wasn't as smart as Alex's dog. She was trying to imagine Christina description of a walker though she couldn't really think of anything. Smiling as they reached the door she entered. Her hands found a nearby desk which made it clear where she was, as she had a stuff bear there. "Thank you for your help. I'll tell Calvin you helped me. He tends give people who help me extra stuff." She promised remembering Thomas used to get some liquor for helping Eliza. However clearly by Thomas' murder helping Eliza wasn't a 100% guarantee he wouldn't use you for an example when people broke the rules.

(Steven's future replacement everyone~) Warrior of Light - Javier Martinez - 18 -
Javier is from hispanic decent which is easily known by his strong skin tone. He is a lean guy, but short guy standing at around 5'6". However he is quite muscular due to playing baseball all the time. He has the kinda of body build that makes him look weak until he takes off his shirt. His eyes are a light green shade. He has greasy medium length raven black hair that is always swept to the left. Along with that he rocks a bushy black beard that makes him look quite older than he really is. He has a crooked nose from getting with a baseball during a game that broke his nose, and it never really got fixed. He tends to wear a white baseball jersey, and a pair of blue jeans. The jersey reads the number 5 on it, and the name Martinez which is his own number in the team. It has the school sigil on the front. As for his mental traits Javier is a pretty team friendly kinda of guy. Despite being raised in a broken family like Steven, Javier took a different route of putting all his aggression in baseball, and studying. Making him a pretty intelligent guy as well. He gets frustrated easily however, and when he does he takes thing a lot more seriously. He has strong family beliefs despite his family being broken. He consideres Steven family, and back when they where in school he'd always try to get Steven to act more normal. He is a very determined, and prideful man as well believing he would one day become a professional baseball player. He was on his way to getting a harvard scholarship before this apocalypse put a stop to that.- Rouge (For now, will join Belle's group later) -
Other: Steven's step-brother (No blood relation.)
