The Doctor looked around for a moment debating what to tell Killian before looking down at her and putting the sonic screwdriver away. By this time his smile was gone, though at the dinosaurs comment a slight twitch of the lips occurred. "I was just being curious and decided to scan for live forms. But there are none around. Absolutely none. This isn't good. We should probably take a look at the village ahead of us. And stick by me." Ten added quietly.

(Oh, I got you now. Lets see here. How about the vampire is starving and sick, not having time to hunt because they've been trying to run. However, they stumble into what they think is an abandoned apartment - only to find a human criminal. Surprisingly, instead of killing the vampire on sight, human offers them a drink and a place to be for the night(day?). Whe authorities come by to search, human kills both of them without blinking, proving that they're willing to do pretty much anything in a whim. So, now they're both on the run: The vamp has a food course now though, and they find that they get along quite well and make a pretty good team.
Or we can play prince and princess! Vamp stopped by a rich neighborhood, a kind rich fellow takes them in and helps them out, hiding them and whatnot. They even manage to provide a steady supply of blood. This could turn out to be more romantic, and we'd most likely have to add drama on our own.
Then there's the previously-rich-and-still-snobby vampire who demands help, which is given to him. The human regrets the decision but for the life of them can not figure out why they havent turned the vampire in or killed them. The vampire is arrogant and snooty, but for some damn reason, human just cant help but assist them.
Or, you could think of a plot you'd prefer. I'm sorry my creative charge is worn thin - I spent the last while writing for my Creative Writing lecture.)

At this, Belles eyes widened a fraction, for just a moment - honestly, by now, nothing could faze her. "Alright," She said quietly, now subdued. Even in her arctic home, she had been used to winter birds chirping and wailing - but now that the Doctor pointed it out, there was no sound. None. It was eerie, and a shiver went down Belles back from it. At some point walking next to the Doctor, she reached out and grabbed his arm, pulling his to the side slightly just in time to avoid a 'pot hole' of sorts, half-filled with snow. She continued by him silently, her back muscles tense as she burried her hands in her coat pockets to hide the slight shivers of nervousness. When the buildings came into sight, she blinked in surprise. She expected old, abandoned things - but these looked brand new. "They look like they were built just days ago," She said quietly, heart pounding.

Hmmm... Maybe we could modify the first plot. Instead of the human being a criminal, he/she is was a childhood friend of the vampire, and that's why the vampire wasn't turned in. And maybe the police come by because people in the area are starting to get suspicious, and then they end up on the run. I kinda want it to be simultaneously sweet - but not romantic sweet - and dramatic.

I would prefer the vampire and if it were male and female. If that's cool with you, I'd like the vampire to be male because the character I have in mind is so much fun :3

(I love it when people say their characters are fun - I get so excited! Alright, then, since your vampire is on the run, I think you should start. My gals name with be Killian Belle-Rose, but she goes by Belle. Quick description if you need it; bleached pure white hair, nearly-as-pale-as-her-hair skin, mint green eyes. )

Ten put an arm around Killian's shoulders to bring her closer, till they approached a house and took his arm off of her shoulders. "I was about to say this village wasn't built yesterday, it's been aged." He stated, taking out his glasses just to look at the grain of the wood, before taking off the glasses off and away. He licked the wood. "All natural, mixed with something I can't place." He looked into the window, seeing a quaint country cabin, basically the essence of the North Pole with Santa. "Let's take a look inside."
(What's Killian's nickname?)

(Belle, since her full name is Killian Belle-Rose. In other RPs, its Ki-Ki and i accidentally put that once. I edited it though - sorry for confusion)
Belle appreciated the protective arm over her shoulder. The Doctor had taken her away from a less-than-kind situation involving a drunk for her boyfriend, who kept her locked away in the house, so all the kindness he was showing her was a bit foreign but very much welcome. WHen The Doctor told her they should look inside, Belle felt the muscles in her back flinch - she took a few steps back, her usually open expression suddenly shutting down, her hands up by her head. "Are you mad? Can't you feel it, Doctor? The... whatever it is. I don't know what, but my gut is telling me very clearly to not go into that house." Belle kept her expression firm for a few moments, and then the Doctors stare broke her down. With a annoyed and slightly afraid huff, she gave in. "Alright. But I'm staying by the door. Something other than emptiness isn't right here."

(Okay, so in this I'm running with the ideas that vampires are relatively easy to kill and can start families.)
Lucas nearly tripped over a raised piece of sidewalk. Thankfully, he was able to catch himself before falling and likely scraping his forearms and elbows. He stumbled a few steps forward before pressing a palm against a wall to steady himself. He was incredibly thankful it was dark out. It meant that no one was out to see him in this state. The twenty-two year old had nasty gashes running down his left forearm and across the right side of chest. He had a minor cut across his right temple and, and a somewhat minor wound across his left thigh. The worst of his injuries was a gash running down the left side of his body, and he had has left hand pressed to it as he was using his right hand to steady himself. That was the only injury that concerned him, and he swore to a deity he didn't believe in that he hoped his body was focusing its efforts on getting that wound to stop bleeding. The other gashes weren't so bad, but this one was.
Lucas took a moment to get a better look at what exactly he was leaning against. It looked like an apartment building, and it didn't seem to be all that nice. Maybe there was an empty room he could crash in until he was healed enough to get on the move again. He took his right palm off the wall and walked a few steps forward to the building's main door. Thankfully, he didn't need a key or a card to get inside. Once inside, he immediately made a right and began checking the doors for an unlocked one. He soon found one, and once he opened the door, discovered that the apartment was empty. Well, relatively empty. Do apartments come furnished? The male didn't have time to answer his own question because he immediately grabbed onto the countertop to steady himself. He continued to hold onto it as he moved from the entrance to the small dining room area. There weren't any windows in the area, and he was out of sight from the door. Lucas took a knee and immediately pressed both hands to his side as he fought to stay conscious.
Well, at least whoever had attacked him hadn't pursued him. That had to count for something, right?

Hearing someone enter her apartment, Belle shot upright in bed, her eyes wide. She wasn't sleeping, simply flipping through her book as she lay on her back. She instantly reached under her night stand, quietly grabbing the switch blade she loved so dearly and opening the longest and sharpest knife. She slowly got to her feet, her minty green eyes wide as she silently walked across old carpet, bare feet landing gently. Belle smelled the metallic blood before she saw it - and when she did see it, she gasped, the knife falling to her feet as she bolted forwards, carefully taking a hold of Lucas. "Oh my god," She muttered, taking in the sheer amount of blood. "Quickly, come!" Belle helped lift Lucas, trying her best to move him painlessly.
She laid him on her bed, to busy with the wound to notice his face. Her snow-white hair was pulled back already, thankfully, so she didn't need to worry about that. Grabbing a pair of scissors and her first aide hit, Belle got to work. She cut the mans shirt from his body and pressed the cleanest part against the wound to help stop the bleeding, while she quickly got supplies. When she pulled away the fabric, her heart sank - this wound was so much worse than she previously thought. However, the nurse-in-training quickly got to work again. She kept a constant stream of calm words coming from her mouth, absentmindedly - a habit from the hospital she worked at.
Soon enough, she had stopped the bleeding and had cleaned it thoroughly, not without pain. Having lined the wound with sterile gauze, she put a bandage over it and was now working on cleaning the blood from his other wounds. She had cut a hole in his pants to deal with the wound on his leg, and started working her way up - until she went for his temple. She froze, eyes widening as she finally recognized his face. Her calm babble stopped, her peach lips parting slightly in surprise. "Lucas?"

{Alright. It's fine. Who should be stuck within the force field?)
"No I can't, but that's what here for isn't" Ten smiled. " To have a look around and have a bit of fun isn't?" He stopped with his hand on the door. "Alright, you'll be missing out. I guarantee it." He smiled again, opening the door but not before dragging out the sonic. "Nothing here. Not a soul. Pretty place. Nonetheless." He slid the sonic away.

"The deadliest things can be caused by the dead," Was all Belle replied with, taking a few cautious steps into the house. A shudder wracked her body and she wrapped her arms instinctually around her torso, trying to protect herself from the feeling she felt. She took a step back towards the door, the sheer wrongness of this place making her heart pound with anxiety. "Doctor, something isn't right," Belle insisted, an edge of fear in her voice as she looked around nervously, trying in vain to find the thing that was giving this vibe off to her.
(Hmm... how about they both are? The house itself could be a trap. A kiss needed to break the force field, same deal and all.If you don't like that idea, then probably the doctor - he ventured in further than Belle.)

Oh crap oh crap oh crap oh crap. There was someone else in the apartment. Lucas lifted his head in an attempt to see who it was, but it was no use. His vision was blurred, so all he saw the general outline of a person. He couldn't even tell if the person was male or female until it spoke. So, female then. He didn't recognize it, but he did recognize that she was trying to get him to his feet. He let out a groan as he stood, and there was no doubt in his mind that he wouldn't have been able to without her help. But was it really help? He couldn't tell at this point, but he also wasn't going to complain.
As she helped him to her bedroom, Lucas kept his gaze down and focused on his shoes as much as he could with his blurred vision. Once on her bed, he closed his eyes and turned his head slightly to the side so that the cut on his temple was facing the ceiling. He couldn't find the strength to argue with her about cutting his shirt. It was the only one he had, and despite it being sliced and dirty, he was rather fond of it. Removing the shirt not only revealed his wounds, but also some tattoos - one on his upper right arm and another along the right side of his chest.
Lucas groaned as he heard a name - his name. No way. There was no way she should have known that. He hadn't said a word to her, let alone his name. He turned his head again, this time toward Belle. He opened his eyes, but his vision wasn't focusing on her. A very confused expression crossed his face as his vision somewhat focused. He was able to make out that her hair was white, but nothing other than that. Did he know anyone with white hair?

Belle snapped back into nurse mode immediately, her eyes hardening. "Keep still." Belle was using ehr nursing voice - calm and serious, which helped soothe her patients. "You took quite the beating, young man," She said, the last two words slipping off her tongue out of an old, old habit. Having heard Lucas being called 'young man' in school for so long, she started using it on him too, as a joke. Now, it wasn't a joke, but it sill held that familiar ring. She soon had cleaned off the wounds, bandaged them, and had washed off the blood.
Finally, after caring for her childhood friend, Belle leaned back and got to her feet, turning her back towards the weakening vampire to wash off ehr hands in the bathroom sink, watching crimson wash down the drain with the lukewarm water. Turning off the tap, she glanced around for something to use, something sharp and small. Her eyes landed on her pack of razors, and she quickly broke one apart, digging out a single blade. Belle held the blade for a mere moment before walking back into her bedroom, kneeling by her low bed and Lucas's side once more.
She suddenly slashed at her wrist, just shy of an artery. She flinched and hissed in pain, blood quickly welling and dripping from the wound. She rose, placing her wound over the vampires mouth, letting a few drops find their ways between his lips. "Come on, Lucas, you need it," She said in her usual voice, the voice she had been told as a child she would grow out of, but never had. Soft, gentle and compassionate - Belles hand mimicked her voice as she brushed hair away from his face. "Come on, please..."

{I don't really care. Usually I have one person on one side and the other, but I'll let you pick.}
Ten stopped in his tracks, looking down off to the side, his happy mood was completely gone by this moment and her ominous words. He tried to act happy examining everything in the room, but it just wasn't happening with him knowing that his companion wasn't happy. He turned around and finished the distance to Belle, stopping barely a step away from her. "Hey now, you know there's danger coming with me, and that's a part of the fun. You know I won't willingly let you get injured right?" He looked down at Belle in the eye, with concerned eyes and a stern, but gentle tone.

Lucas groaned and turned his head again as if to protest being told to keep still when in reality, he was trying to get comfortable on the bed. It took too much effort to move his entire body in his weakened state, so he had to settle for moving his head. “…young man,” was all he heard of Belle’s statement, and something about the combination of the words and tone was just so damn familiar, but he couldn’t figure out why off the top of his head.
He didn’t move again until she came back from the bathroom and slashed her wrist with the razor. Normally, the scent of blood would have caused a near instantaneous reaction from him, but he barely had the strength to sit up on his own in this state. Once the first few drops of blood made their way between his lips, Lucas opened his eyes and reached for her wrist with one of his hands to pull it closer as he painfully sat up.
Once upright, he bit her wrist, though it wouldn’t take much for Belle to pull it away from him. While he was more aware of what was going on because of the little bit of blood, he was still incredibly weak. It would take time, or a hell of a lot of blood, for him to be back to full strength. Still, that didn’t stop him from slightly tightening his grip on her wrist, but again, she would still be able to pull it away from him.

"I know what i signed up for, Doctor," Belle responded, glancing back at him cautiously. "We've faced some pretty terrifying things, but this, whatever is happening - this is different. You said there wasnt any life forms, none at all. What of this, then? These toys, without dust - rolls of paper with cut lines," She asked, aiming her gaze at each thing as she listed them. "And it's not me I'm worried about, it's you." She took a cautious step forwards, and that's when it happened. She was violently shoved forwards by some sort of force, stumbling into the Doctor. She pulled herself upright, a panicked hand on his arm as the visible force encased them. After a moment, the buzz of the force stopped, and Belle still stood there, frozen on the spot like a deer in the headlights. Finally, she broke free of her perfect stillness and took a few steps towards a thin line on the ground, cautiously reaching out. Her hand felt something smooth, like glass, and she pressed on it slightly. Nothing. She kept her hand there for a moment, before her fingers curling into her palm and she stepped back towards the Doctor, cocking an eyebrow at him.

Misty-
Belle never pulled her arm away, even as her old friend bit into her skin. She flinched, but threw her willpower against instinct. Belle remained silent, mint green eyes latched on Lucas with confusion. She hadnt seen him since... well, she couldnt quite remember when exactly it was, but the law passed. She had urged him to flee, and he had - and now, he was back? Why?
Belle felt a wave of nausea wash over her, dizziness following shortly after. Still, she kept her wrist to Lucas's bite, ignoring the telling symptoms. It was only when her vision started to funnel black and she couldnt tell up from down when she pulled away, leaning against the bed for support, her skin even paler than before. SHe didn't have much strength, and what she used it for was to pull a spare blanket over Lucas, hands shaking from blood loss. "You still need to recover," She said, her voice clumsy as she forced the words off her dry tongue. She practically collapsed against the far wall, her eyes closing momentarily as she breathed deep, trying to keep herself from blacking out.
"Why are you back, Lucas? You aren't safe," She said, her voice still as soft as ever as she struggled to keep her eyes open, dizziness flipping her stomach. She managed to keep her last meal down, but she felt as if every ounce of energy had been funneled into the trash. She reached up with a shaky hand, brushing a loose piece of snow-white hair from her face and behind her ear. "You should never have come back, you know - and this time experienced - how harsh our troops are against vamps."

It was only after Belle pulled her arm away from him that Lucas was able to get a good look at her. A brief smile of recognition crossed his face before he remembered his circumstances and what he had just done. He looked down, almost embarrassed to have taken so much blood from her. "You shouldn't have let me take that much blood," he said, seeming to ignore her questions.
He pulled the blanket up and over his shoulders before grabbing the edges with his hands and pulling them toward his chest so it wasn't exposed. Lucas didn't want her asking about the tattoos. The story behind them was painful to tell, and he didn't want to deal with that pain again.
"Would you believe me if I said I didn't know where I was?" He asked softly, moving to sit on the edge of the bed so he could face Belle while speaking to her. "Because that's what happened. This piece of [shoot] law has been around for, what, eight years now. When you're trying to save your [butt], you stop paying attention to names and start paying attention to things that actually matter, like trying to keep your family safe even though you're only fourteen. And when you lose that..." He trailed off, unable to finish his statement. Lucas wiped at his eyes and regained his composure.
"If you don't want me here, I'll be gone in five minutes. It wouldn't be the first time I wasn't wanted." He said the last part rather darkly, making no attempt to hide his feelings for the law that led to him being hunted like an animal.

"Shut the hell up," Belle sighed, opening her eyes and giving him a you're really daft right now look. "I couldn't care less what you are, you're still my friend. Besides," She said, her voice straining as she stood cautiously. Belle had also recieved some tattoos - across her shoulders and collar bones; an exquisite watercolor like display, dipping down her back. A circle of thorns wound just under her navel, meeting at the back - obvious as her shirt rucked up slightly.
"Honestly, I'm just really glad i got to you in time. You were halfway gone. I could practically see the seconds ticking." Belle took some cautious steps towards the closet, opening it and rumaging around. She found an old mans shirt - probably her ex boyfriends, she thought bitterly - before taking it and tossing it over to Lucas. "You should be safe around here for a while," She continued, digging around again despite the dizziness, "The Huntsmen already steeped this building yesterday. They won't be around for a few more days." She found a pair of jeans, around Lucas's size and set those to the side.
Belle paused after a moment, leaning against the frame for support. "Of course I believe you. I trust you." She said, turning around so she was facing him once again, her eyes cast to the ground. "Never stopped trusting you, after all these years...." She trailed off, shaking loose old memories before carefully lowering herself into her recliner by her book case, which was filled with books.

"If only there were more people like you in charge," Lucas said, letting out a sigh. "There weren't many issues before the law passed. People that did create issues were dealt with, so I don't know why this law was necessary." He let out another sigh before shaking his head. "But enough about that."
"I'm pretty sure halfway gone is an understatement," he mumbled to himself, not wanting Belle to hear the comment. He was well aware of how serious the bleeding had been, and he didn't want to think about the alternative to her helping him. Because he was still holding the blanket against his chest, Lucas made no effort to catch the shirt. Instead, it landed beside him on the bed. He let it rest there, not wanting to pull it on at the moment. "I really don't understand why they're continuing to search," he admitted. "It's been eight years, and most vampires are dead. You'd think they'd lighten up." Or, maybe he was the only one that thought that.
"Even after eight years, you still trust me?" He asked, somewhat in disbelief. Lucas didn't know exactly how the news made vampires out to be, but he did know that as a result of them, people were much more wary of strangers. Sometimes that worked to his advantage, and sometimes it didn't. "Guess I made the right friends back in elementary school," he said as a smile crossed his face.
Lucas quickly shook his head and attempted to get out of the bed. "And if you believe me too, then believe me when I say you really should have something to eat before you go back to bed. I took a fair amount of blood, and I don't need you feeling like [shoot] because of it."

"Of course I still trust you. You were the one that pulled me from the fire, no?" Belle gave Lucas a steady stare, her snow-white hair framing her almost-stark-white skin, straight and long. It was true - when her house had burned down, killing her parents, it was Lucas who heard her cries and helped her escape, his family giving her refuge in their home until she was put into the foster system. "I don't believe someone who had the heart to run into a roaring fire to save me could ever be as terrible as the media portraits."
At his confusion about vampire huntsmen, Belle shrugged weakly. "When afraid, people do frantic things. And I know to eat something - I'm a nurse, i know these things," She teased lightly, a faint smile flitting across her face as she pulled herself back onto her feet, walking over to Lucas and offering her hand for help. "You need to be careful, young man. My blood isn't the strongest, you will need more soon. I have a... friend who can help with that."
(Ugh, sorry it's so short.)

(It's fine ^^)
"Maybe I was," Lucas said with a shrug, seeming to downplay the significance of saving her from the fire when he was eight years old. He never had thought much about what he did that night. Sure, his parents had punished him for acting recklessly, but he knew that they had been proud of him as well. "Well, maybe that someone had to do things he's not entirely proud of to survive," he finally said, looking down. "And maybe some of those things are just as bad as what the media portrays. I have to live with that. That, and a bunch of other [shoot]."
"So you were able to become a nurse," he said softly. Lucas remembered that was the only answer she ever gave to the question "What do you wanna be when you grow up?" He couldn't remember all the answers he had given to the question, as he never really knew what he wanted, only what sounded cool. "Congrats on that, by the way," he said as he took her hand to pull himself up. He was much more steady on his feet than he had been earlier, but that wasn't saying much. "I know I need to be careful. I'm a vampire for God's sake." As much as he meant for the words to come off as teasing, they hadn't completely. "And is this friend going to get me, or you, in trouble? Because I'll probably need more blood than I normally would, and you don't need to be brought into my world I lovingly refer to as hell."

Belle gave a tug, helping her old friend to her feet. "We do what we have to in order to survive," was her responce. Always forgiving, always kind - Belle was constantly being used to advantages, but she knew without a doubt that her old childhood friends would be careful. "All the crap you had to do, or the things you were forced through - you had no control over those things." She brushed the back of her hand against his jaw careingly before pulling away, handing him the shirt she tossed onto the bed. "Yeah, I'm a nurse," She gave a small grin, although her forest green eyes flared with pride. "Still going through school - maybe to be a doctor."
Belle glanced back over at Lucas when he asked about her 'friend.' "Well, actually, no. He's a rebel against the vampire laws, and a butcher - i hope you don't mind cattle blood. Or, I could probably smuggle back some human bags from the hospital. Ones that won't be missed, common types," She offered, even if she knew it was risky. She paused for a moment, a teasingly thoughtful look mover her face as she hummer. "Well, I dunno - Hell sounds hellova lot warmer than here in OrdinaryVille," She grinned, placing her hand on his arm to steady him a little as he seemed a bit unsteady still.

“I doubt that you’ll ever need to do some of the things I did,” Lucas mumbled, not entirely caring if Belle heard the comment. “But I did ‘em. Doesn’t make it right, doesn’t make me look like a good person. Maybe all it does is confirm what the news says.” Of course, he wouldn’t have had to do those things if that horrid law didn’t exist. He took the shirt from her and pulled it on, not wanting to continue with that conversation. Thinking about that topic long enough would cause a breakdown and further convince him that the media’s lies were true. Not thinking about it was his preferred coping mechanism.
“That’s great,” he said softly as he reached for the headboard to steady himself. “It’s great that one of us gets what we wanted in life.” He smiled, proud of Belle for not giving up on her dream. “Do me a favor and stay in school. Maybe you’ll be able to find a way to make life easier for the vampires that are still around. Hell, maybe you’ll be able to figure out why my body acts the way it does, ‘cause I sure as hell don’t know anything about it.”
“I’ll take what I can get. I have no issue with cattle blood, but I do have an issue with you trying to get blood from the hospital. If you get caught, I don’t see it ending well for either of us. My life may suck, but I don’t need you joining me in it.” Lucas rolled his eyes at the mention of hell sounding nice. “Sure, maybe you can come visit me once I get an official address.” The idea of permanently settling down seemed out of reach given his circumstances, but maybe it would be possible in the future – if he lived to see a future.

Belles face grew serious, forest green eyes hardening slightly. "Lucas, you only did what you had to do," Her voice had a sharp edge, warning him to keep quiet and accept her words. "You will not be killed, not on my watch. I'll get in touch with Robin - he'll deliver some 'steaks.'" She used her fingers to air quote around the word steaks, meaning packages of blood.
"Meanwhile, rest up. Get your strength back, get ready to run again. You'll only have a few days here, safely. The Huntsmen sweet the building every week," Belle said regretfully, her eyes flashing with disgust when it came to the men and women who made their livings slaughtering Lucas's kind. "There's some nooks you could hide in if they come early, but none are very promising. Just promise me that you'll keep low - no one needs to know you're here, other than me and Robin." Her forest eyes latched into his, coaxing out an agreement.

He nodded once, careful to keep his gaze focused on the floor. Lucas understood that the conversation was over, but he was having a difficult time accepting what Belle had said. He let out a sigh and finally looked up at her. “Alright,” he said, seeming to have at least accepted that she would keep him safe. “And make it quick. I didn’t take that much from you, relative to what I need, and I don’t want to be fighting instinct while you’re here.”
Lucas sat back down on the bed, removing his hand from the headboard. He nodded slowly, fully understanding the consequences of being caught by the Huntsmen. They were the reason he had lost his family, and while part of him thought it would be easier just to give up, giving up was the wrong thing for him to do. “Of course I’ll lay low. I don’t want you, or anyone else, to get in trouble for my sake. Just keep the blinds closed. It’s a lot easier to lay low that way.” He moved to grab the blanket and wrap it around his chest. “And thank you,” he added.
