"I'm pretty sure I can get water without blowing up the room." Tony quipped, strolling into an adjacent room with a grin. Carter, snorting, flopped into the nearest couch and put his feet on the coffee table; only to put them back down when he heard Nat's disapproving hum. "Let's hope so. But if you'd like, I'm sure I could give you the best tour of your life." "Considering Carter is the worst navigator ever." Steve chuckled, ruffling Carter's hair as the latter snorted grumpily. "You're in good hands, Katrina."

Katie blinked "Okay that's fine." She responded? Looking at Carter. She then watched Tony leave the room.

[[Studying ^^ be back in a couple hours ]]
Carter looked up with Katie with a small smile, before shifting up on the couch to give her space to sit. Steve, stepping away, went back to his sketch pad and started to pack it away. "With all of the people in here, I'll try and finish that up later." Carter chuckled, "Want a seat, Katrina? Or should we tour the place first? I'm up for anything!"

"I'll sit first. " she replied, sitting down on the couch.
Clint spoke up. "Sooo Katrina, is is alright if we call you Katie? Katrina is a bit of a mouthful." He asked, watching for her reaction.
Katie felt her heart twinge. "No... I'd prefer you stick to my name..."

'Can't be that easy.' Natasha thought silently, before reaching over and patting Clint on the shoulder. "Katrina it is." Carter glanced at Clint with a questioning gaze, but the concern diminished when he spoke. "I guess you can call me whatever you want; I have millions of nicknames, especially when I spent a week with Mr Stark himself." At the mention on his name, Tony came back in with a tray on his palm; a single glass of water nestled on it. Steve rolled his eyes, amused, as Tony was acting like a waiter.

Katie looked at him "Carter is already short enough. Unless you want me to call you 'Kicked puppy'" she said with a sly grin. She looked up as Tony came in.

"Hey! I don't act like a puppy-" Carter started, only to pout at the burst of laughter around the room. Tony, laughing as well, didn't see Natasha take advantage of the situation and make a bump in the carpet, so when he got close enough to Katie, he tripped theatrically. The tray teetered violently; sending the glass over and thus letting the water fly onto Katie with a splash. Carter, shocked into reacting; grabbed the glass in midair before it hit Katie's chest. Tony, apologizing profusely, looked immensely sorry. "I didn't mean to- oh gosh I'm a klutz- Please forgive me- oh my gosh."

(Whoo!)
Katie squeaked in surprise as the ice and water splashed her. She shivered as she felt the ice in her hair and some of her clothes. Her arms crossed over her chest, since the water was affecting the visibility through her clothes. "I-it's okay" she said quickly.
Clint looked at Natasha in surprise, having seen what she did.

Natasha acted as she would be expected to react; hands clapping to her mouth in shock before she bounded forward. "Tony!" She scolded lightly, gently pushing the billionaire out of the way whilst she made sure nothing was immensely wrong. Looking at Katie, she sighed softly. "You poor thing; he's drenched you." Tony, continuing his apologies, backed up with a guilty look on his face. Oblivious to the plan, he suggested. "I'm sure there must be some warm clothes somewhere..." "Should be." Nat nodded, before smiling softly at Katie. "I'm sure we can find some. Let's go to the girls' sector."

Katie looked at Nat, slightly nervous. She wasn't too sure, she felt strange around this woman. "Uh...O-okay..." She replied nervously. She then sneezed a little as she stood up and walked with Nat.
Clint sighed as they left. "Tony don't worry about it. She tripped you. She wants to see her back." He explained, forgetting Carter was there.
Bruce blinked. "Should I have given her the tranq?"

Abby raised an eyebrow slightly. But, yes the Enterprise did have a knack for getting into trouble compared to most any other ship in the Fleet. "Ah. Really... surprising." Was all the woman said before being slightly amazed at the bridge. She chuckled quietly in amusement more to herself than anything else at the groan. "Well thanks for being my guide. Maybe I'll see you around the ship." Abby nodded. The woman moved slowly and cautiously towards her station, not really wanting to be a distraction on the quiet bridge. She wondered who would be in the captain's chair on this shift. Would be the infamous arrogant Kirk? Or would it be his second in command, Spock or maybe Sulu?

[[ chipster321 ]] Natasha walked to the door, taking out her keycard and swiping it at one of the doors. The panel slide sideways with a small click, and she beckoned Katie forward. "You'll be fine in no time." Carter, however, whipped around at the obviously odd statements. "Wait." Voice lowering, his eyes darted accusingly at the group; making sure they knew he was furious. "This was planned?!" [[ Silverfall ]] Mawr'Iz nodded politely, "Hope you have a marvelous time." He murmured, before sliding off towards some of the other helmsman. Besides, he was sure that they had messed up something that he had to fix again. As he moved away, one James T. Kirk walked onto the bridge; a frown set on his face as if he was deep in thought. Sighing slightly, he glanced at a couple screens to check what was happening.

Clint looked at Carter. "Carter...Do you remember your old playmate Katie, Nat and I's daughter? Well we saw a birthmark on your friend...one that our daughter also had. You can't expect us not to want to see?" He said calmly.
Katie bit her lip and followed Nat in, unaware or the door locking behind her.

Carter blinked once, registering what was said to him, before he stood up slowly. "You were using me to get to her...Right?" Voice wavering in betrayal and anger, the teen looked between the group in shock. Yes, he did remember Katie, and he had always wondered if she was alive, but he couldn't wrap his head around the current situation. "My new found friend may or may not be my cousin...Oh my god."
Natasha went through a series of hallways, before she stopped at one of the personal wings. "We have some teenage visitors sometimes." She explained, before opening the door to a generic bedroom. "So I'm sure we'll find you something nice; my treat." While everyone was used to the femme fatale of Black Widow, Natasha Romanov was a pretty chilled lady.

Katie followed Nat in, still shivering.

[[ Sure ^^ ]]
"So you don't want me to tell her...I guess." The query came out slowly, but Carter was still stoic; the teen wasn't sure what to believe just yet.
Natasha switched on the lights, walking to a nearby cupboard and opening it. The bedroom was pretty plain, as if it was still waiting to be customized. "Any preferences on clothing, Katrina?" She made sure to use the 'preffered name'.

Katie was glancing around the room, feeling weird. "Uh...no...no thank you."

"If she freaks out, then please don't say I didn't tell you so." Carter frowned deeper, looking away from the group and sulking at the nearest wall; as if the wall would burst into flames at his stare. A set of small vibrational energy made the glass on a nearby table wobble, but he seemed stable enough.
"Generic t-shirt and jeans then." Natasha quietly selected some items of clothing, visually attempting to gauge what size Katie would be before offering the items of clothing over. "Hope that's okay."

"Yeah that's fine. She nodded, taking the size small clothes and places them on the small bed. Looked like a child's bed. She noticed a small bear that seemed like it had been clearly loved. She blinked, and her head suddenly sharply hurt. She winced, but shook it off. She started to take off her shirt, revealing the birthmark and many scars. Some seemed to be bullet wounds, some burns as well.
Clint glanced at Steve with a small "help me out" look.

Abby had heard what he had said. Sighing, she muttered a 'thanks'. She briefly looked up when she heard a set of doors. Seeing a man walk in, she didn't exactly equate the man with the captain. So she didn't exactly stop trying to log in for more than a moment. It took Abby much longer than it should have, mainly because she was using the wrong pass code and plus technology didn't always agree with her.

[[ chipster321 Ack I'm the worst xD Sorry about that; I started writing exams yesterday so I'm replying to all my respective threads in bits and pieces ]] Natasha made no show of watching, turning away politely and acting as if she was checking for other things inside the closet. However, she had pushed away some of the clothes to reveal a mirror on the back; using that to check behind her. Startled at the extent of the scars, she turned. "Oh my...If you don't mind me asking, but are you okay?" It was the tone of a truly concerned person. Steve, nodding, quietly strolled up to Carter and put an arm around the teen's shoulder. "We all meant well, Carter, and I'm sure we'll fix this. If you want, you can say that you didn't know." "As much as I want to, I don't want to lie to my friend." Carter mumbled defiantly. "But if it is Katie, then I'll help." Steve, glancing back at Clint, nodded swiftly. [[ Silverfall ]] The infamous Captain's chair was vacant, but Kirk didn't go directly to it. Making an effort to go and check on the whole bridge, Kirk noted the new face with curiosity and intrigue; initially observing Abby attempt to use the current tech. Making an arch, he quietly approached her from behind, peering over her shoulder. "I think you may have the wrong code; don't worry, it happens to a lot of people." He offered, a cheeky tone lacing his words.

Katie jumped, a bit startled from the sudden question. She dropped the shirt and quickly crouched, pressing her chest to her knees. She turned so her back was facing away from Natasha. She then looked up at the woman, who looked even more familiar from a downward angle due to haven been used to look up at her when she was little. Her head hurt sharply and fiercely this time, causing her to more visibly wince. "Of course I'm fine. I'm just unlucky and grew up in a bad area you know? That's a reason I moved!"
Clint looked relieved and nodded back.

Natasha stepped back silently, watching the display with a neutral gaze; not judging the teen for what was happening. She understood the feeling, heck, she knew the experience. Katrina's reclusive demanour was akin to her days in the Red Room; and she never thought her own daughter would be subjected to anything like that. However, it seemed her worst nightmare had come to fruition, and she now had to fix that. "I know; I grew up in bad areas as well." Crouching down next to her, she didn't give any sign of physical comfort; but her tone was motherly. "...You don have to hide it; I won't judge you. You must be a strong girl."
Carter turned back to the group and walked off, taking a jog to one of the other hallways. "If Katrina comes back, then call me." He muttered. "I'm going to get some snacks."

Katie flinched as the woman crouched next to her. This woman was tearing her heart to shreds, drawing out feelings that she thought had been beaten out of her long ago. She wanted to cry, she wanted to hug this woman and cry, and she had no idea why. And that scared her, she wanted to run, flee and return to Hydra, even if it meant being locked up in that room, the one surrounded by fire. Maybe it would hurt less than what this woman was making her feel. But she couldn't move. She wouldn't judge her? What if she knew that she had killed? For some reason the idea of this woman hating her terrified her. It was clear her feelings were in turmoil.

Abby jumped slightly, not expecting someone to approach her so soon. She took a moment to look to see if she could see the man's rank. "Uh well... Oh thanks." She seemed a little embarrassed that it took her so long, but at least she was completely through the system and could start her work. After Abigail had glanced at his sleeve, her eyes slid up the sleeve to his face all the while a small nervous and embarrassed smile appeared. It took her a moment for the face to be connected to a face, "You must be Captain Kirk." Abby stated simply. She still was nervous, but his cheeky tone seemed to be slightly calming.

[[ chipster321 *virtual hug*]] Natasha watched the teen battle with her emotions, eyes softening even more as she scooted a little closer on her haunches. Once her thigh gently touched the teen, she maneuvered herself so that she was sitting with her legs out; proceeding to gently place her hand on Katie's shoulder. "It's okay." She said, as if reading the teen's thoughts. "I will not, nor will I ever, judge whatever has happened to you. It wasn't your fault, and if you ever need help, then I'll find out how I can assist." She offered a smile, but didn't do anything else; sometimes, silence expresses more emotion than words. [[ Silverfall ]] Kirk shrugged his shoulders, catching Abby's eyes move to his sleeve before raising an eyebrow. So, she really was new. That helped; since it seemed that his reputation preceded him most of the time. "That's what they call me." Extending a hand with the intent of a handshake, Kirk offered a small smile of greeting; without an ounce of disgust from Abby not knowing who he was. "Welcome aboard, it's always great to have a new face on the bridge."

Of course Abby knew of his reputation, his reputation was well known in the quadrant. She knew that being assigned to the Enterprise was disaster for both her career and her, should she ever become another mark on his bedpost. Which Abigail did not want to become. However the pros outweighed the cons and she took the assignment because of the opportunity it afforded her. Abigail just knew that she would have to watch herself for the time being until she acquainted herself with the ship. Even though Abigail was rather innocent seeming and innocent in general, there was a little bit of a wild side to her. Her nervousness wore off the most part. "Lieutenant Commander Abigail Smith. And thank you Captain Kirk." She took his hand for a brief, but strong shake.

Katie flinched at Natasha's touch, and looked at her nervously with her blue eyes. She could feel tears start to flow. "Why...why am I crying? I can't cry...I shouldn't be crying...This room hurts my head..." She mumbled softly.

[[ chipster321 ]] "Apparently crying is a good thing; good stress reliever." Natasha murmured softly, looking around the room for any indication of a tissue. Finding none, she sighed and continued to speak. "As I said, it's perfectly okay." She didn't want to talk about the room just yet, but she had her suspicions. [[ Silverfall Ikr! I'm pretty sure Kirk will continue the whole Cat and Mouse act just to see how Abby operates xD ]] Kirk raised an eyebrow at the strong handshake, but matched it and nodded. "Nice to meet you, hope you have a good experience on board." Letting go, he quietly observed her before looking back at something on a screen; before he shrugged. "Should get going today, but the engineers wanted to do some checks so I'm free for the time being." The ramble held no hint of a hidden meaning, but he smiled. "I could show you around, if you'd like? Or do you already have a guide?"
