Twisty bits o.o Yup, it's all about the journey... (Except for when it's about hoping my favourite characters come out okay) Nice! I'm sure I've asked, but how soon is this likely to end? I assume once they've sorted the poison? Fun fact: Counting the cover, there are 56 pages. Making this a whole lot further than I ever got in the first version of this comic, even though we've only gotten a little bit further in plot. (I think the first comic was 16 pages and it ended as soon as Jo was dropped off with Marick.) You know me and my need to create plot twists. I've got a big one for those who haven't read The Game, but I've got a couple others that I've been hoarding to slowly let out. :3 I just need to slow down the plot a bit (which is what I've slowly been doing now I've introduced all the main characters) so I can start more character interaction. (Characters plural? o.o Which are your favorites?) The likely end? We're about 1/3 through. And yes, it basically ends when that happens + an epilogue. I have some random pieces that I wrote out back when this was reduced to a fan fiction (that also got taken down, if by mistake, so ah well). There were a few more plots for the second comic in my computer, but I lost it all when my computer crashed. The only parts I manged to save were the old covers I did for the fan fictions, so the hints on those covers are all I have to piece back together what I had. Because I remember a little of it, I tried to put the background in a bit of The Game's short stories. |

I'm tempted just to update again for you.  But let me see ... I'll be doing more pages tomorrow if all goes well, and then I should take a pictures of them. For updating, this schedule is actually working pretty well, just as long as I remember when 5-7 days are past. @.@ I need to just state 'updates on Friday' to remind myself. Ooooh yes. The next few are going to be interesting. It'll fill in a little information at least, even if it is just a quick summery. Please do!  Seriously though, I can't wait! I'm glad you have a schedule that works! Fridays... I need to remember that. I had a couple for the next three comics. I think also lost Sandstorms when the forums died. I think I forgot to save it and I forgot that I'd lost the copy on the old computer. At least I only had the prologue up. It was what would have been the fourth comic. *pats* Well, there are a couple contradictions to the comic in it. The comic is hardcore cannon (because it would be a real pain to edit a comic instead of a story) and I need to edit some of the earlier written stories like Toxic Valley. But it does include a bunch of the background that I haven't revealed yet, so if you wanted spoilers. XD |

We will see tomorrow... To be fair, I think those were the only fics that I followed from when they started to when they finished (if that makes sense). HTMF I leapt onto halfway through, and I don't think anything else I read has actually been finished. So yes, having experience with Mint c; Argh no, forget I said anything! If something happens to Jo I absolutely 100% will not be sad, so there's no point in torturing her! Ooh, what was Sandstorms about? I guess it's not possible to find it on Wayback or anything?  That's good to know xD Are they plot spoilers or background spoilers? Because I want the second but not the first I hope you're enjoying your spring break! |

Or later today, because I have no idea what I'm doing with my life tomorrow. Nice! Well, I actually need to update my new fic, since against all odds I finished the prologue. Mint experience is a good thing. Who said anything about torturer! I can have good plot twists, you know! XD Nah. No one would have saved it because I was the never update type. It had a prologue and a banner I got from a banner shop. It was about one of the Council members. Named George Dime. She's one of the few adult Normals that are above apprentice age. You'll find out why there are so few soon. Anyway, she was sort of the outcome of one of the Councils bad ideas. She's on the board for the Normals, as in she helps make the decisions for the minority of the Seaside community. She's completely unaware that Paranormals exist. Basically, she was traded into Seaside. They needed more Normals, so they basically got an adult from another town. She was give two 'body guards' who she thinks are her friends and there job was to keep her in the dark about what Seaside had become. She's unaware of Paranomals, but for the rest of the world Paranormals are a threat. Mostly immortal (there are exceptions. They're immortal as long as nothing kills them. Old age just isn't a thing) cats wouldn't be a threat to anyone else at all. So what happened was they wanted to see how long they could keep up the act. Pretty long, as it turned out. The Poison blew the charade out of the water, that was for sure. So that plot ran along-side and a bit after PtS. Ummmm, the Game has both. Walking Ice most of all in regards to PtS. Hum. I think if you read the Rattlesnake Rising section and the Toxic War section, you'll be fine. Rattlesnake Rising is about Rattlesnake. Basically Paranormal origin stories. Toxic/Feline War section is about the war between the Normals and Paranormals that Clerisa was in. The New Era section? Stand clear. Major, major background and plot spoilers, since they're the stories just before PtS, during, and just after. I actually just got on it as of two hours ago! |

Although I suppose understandable, given the circumstances. Avoid New Era, noted. I read the first Rattlesnake story, it's very creepy o.o Ah well xD I hope you've enjoyed the start of it anyway! I'm also free, as of 3 hours ago The infamous Will-Oliva-Marick pose! I love the layout of that panel - it kind of reminds me of Gunnerkrigg Court. Also, no Will! Oooo! Yes, thank you. :3 Rattlesnake became a very interesting character as he developed. One of the first stories I wrote with him in it made him out to be something like Scourge. I'm glad he's better now. More of 'just another side to the story'.

Dream is a cat that's never been mentioned, I don't think. Never really plays any sort of part in PtS, but I thought I'd drop an Easter egg (Easter is coming up and all. XP )
Now, we all kinda know what Will does, now don't we? She goes and falls off a cliff somehow, that's what.

He certainly is, from what I've seen of him. (I love the different sides to the story aspect of the Game. It makes it feel like mythology.)

And I finished writing two (1 and 1/2, let's be honest Mint) chapters while on vacation, woot woot! Exactly my aim then! I'm so pleased.  Agreed, agreed! Maybe you will, if the story dictates. But he, Rattlesnake, and Will's mother get a whole fic to themselves, so I want to leave some learning and growing for that. Will: The whole something-edge of Seaside is cliffs! You set a tall order! |
