SPIDERFANG
The elderly she-cat huffed at Sweetpaw, "What are your symptoms? Does your throat hurt as well? Do you feel light-headed, or especially cold? What about a stomachache?" she questioned as she stood and moved towards the younger she-cat to check for a fever, mumbling to herself as she did.
BRAMBLEPAW The tomcat practiced for only a good ten minutes or so, before he could've sworn he heard footsteps approaching. Flattening his ears, he rolled over onto his feet, and stood up, glancing around suspiciously for the source of the sound, his thick fur bristling, making him appear even larger than he really was. Then, his bright orange eyes caught sight of something silver, and when he squinted, he could make out the shape of Brooktail. Growling to himself, he flattened himself against the ground into the snow, and waited for her to approach.

(Yo sorry I haven't really been on, I've been with my boyfriend and he hates it when I ignore him for roleplay lol. Anyways, I could go back and skim the past many pages but I'd prefer not to, so I would very much appreciate it if anyone feels up to summarizing recent/current events for me? Thanks in advance. Also, just checked out the new characters. Crowpaw probably looks up to Spiderfang quite a bit lol.) ( haha I look forward to rping them together! )

(Me too! Crowpaw and Spiderfang's personalities are strikingly similar in many ways it seems so I like to imagine that Crowpaw has perhaps based his behavior and attitude at least marginally off her lol.)

(Hey, Di! Bramblepaw sneaked out of camp, and Brooktail went after him.)
Bramblepaw's scent was must stronger. In fact, she could see his fluorescence glowing in the night. "Bramblepaw!" She growled out. "What in the name of StarClan do you think you are doing?"

SPIDERFANG
"Shhh!" Spiderfang barked out when Sweetpaw broke off and started to protest that she was fine. The old Siamese went to where the herbs were kept, and looked over everything. "You have a slight fever Sweetpaw, its not bad, but you're sick, and I have feeling you've been feeling bad for longer than tonight..."she huffed out as she grabbed a few herbs here and there. "LeafBlaze told you apprentices that if you feel even a little sick or get even a little cough, to get treated immediately! You should've came sooner, Sweetpaw, now come over here." She lectured, as she dipped some catmint and borage leaves into some honey.
BRAMBLEPAW
Bramblepaw stood up and let his fur calm down and lie flat, as he looked at Brooktail. She was nicer than most of the other mentors, nicer than most of the other warriors in general. He didn't dislike her, but she could also be a bit of a stickler at times. Groaning outwardly, he whined, "Sweetpaw tattled on me didn't she? I'm just practicing by myself..." he responded huffing slightly as he lowered his tail.

(There is a possibility, Di! It all depends on the RP. It would be interesting to see it happen though.)
Brooktail growled. "And it is a good thing she did! Not only did you disobey Ravenstar's word, but you broke the warrior code! You know better than to go out during the full moon. Every cat obeys this for fear of endangering the clan. Do you want to be the cat responsible for leading twolegs into the camp?" She hissed and approached the tom. She had to force her fur to lie flat. They needed to get back to camp.

"Brooktails right." Blizzardwing rumbled, his voice oddly low for once, the tom incredibly irritated at the mouse brained apprentice. He stepped forward, making sure he was next to her as he studied the tom. He glared at the tom, eyes glittering with aggravation, debating on what punishment the dark apprentice would be given.
Sweetpaw followed the elder medicine cat, head down, lapping up the herbs obediently. "How long till I can train again?" She asked, eyes wide.

BRAMBLEPAW
"No one has seen twolegs around here in a long time! Why must we live in fear of a danger that doesn't exist anymore?" He protested, frowning slightly and lowering his head as he was scolded, though he was tough, arrogant and prideful, no apprentice enjoyed being scolded by a warrior. "If I did run across twolegs, I wouldn't let them follow me back to camp, I would let them take me." He mumbled defeatedly at the shecat. Thats when the white deputy stepped in from the shadows, and Bramblepaw sighed even more in defeat as he listened to the white cat scold him as well, and eye him with aggravation. He felt it was foolish to still be afraid of the two legs after so long.
SPIDERFANG
The elderly cat watched as Sweetpaw ate up all the herbs, and nodded in approval. "Hmmm...just three days, and if you don't honestly feel any better, then you'll take more medicine and rest two more days. Now, no lying or pretending you're fine next time alright? Now, go on and get some rest."

Brooktail's eyes widened as Blizzardwing stepped out of shadows. At first, she was worried that Bramblepaw wouldn't listen. The she-cat glanced between in the two toms. She heaved a sigh. Brooktail shook her head and stepped between the two cats. "We need to head back to camp. Whether you feel the law needs to be challenged or not, Ravensar must be furious. Now let's-"
CRACK!!
The sudden sound of loud feet and other heavy noises echoed through the forest. Loud voices raised to the air before falling silent.

SPIDERFANG
"You can go back to the Apprentice den, and if anyone else seems sick send them over here as well when you can, goodnight Sweetpaw," she said and dismissively waved her tail at the younger feline before moving to the back of the den to sleep.
BRAMBLEPAW
"Alright, Blizzardwing...I'm sorry," He sighed, he still didn't agree, but there was no use in arguing and making things worse for himself so he just nodded slightly and kept his head down. As the three were about to move out, Brooktail about to take the lead, there was a large cracking sound that cut right through the silence of the night, and exploded into their senses, and then was followed by the sounds of human footsteps, and low voices.
Just my luck! Bramblepaw groaned inwardly, of course this would happen of all things, though, he couldn't feel sorry for his bad luck for long before he felt the cold fingers of fear, clawing through his guts. "Twolegs-" he whispered, flattening his ears as his fur bristled and his tail poofed out, his first instinct was to run and ditch the two warriors but no, he couldn't, they were clanmates, and he wouldn't leave them behind because of his own fear.

"Sorry catches no prey-" Blizzardwing froze, hearing the cracking noise, a cold quiet coming over the forest afterward, the only noise the footsteps of the two legs. Foxdung He swore inwardly, but he kept his fur down, knowing he had to look brave. He looked around, trying to think of a good place to hide. The white tom got up, flicking his ears towards the opposite direction. They would have to take the long way back to camp, where it would be the safest bet. They had to alert the others. "This way." He muttered.

Brooktail didn't move. The she-cat's green eyes were large and round. Fear coursed through her. Her breath caught in her throat. They were too close. She slowly began to back up. Her eyes caught movement as Bramblepaw and Blizzardwing slowly moved off. But the noises were getting louder. Part of her knew what would happen if they spotted Bramblepaw. After all, they went for her siblings with their orange fluorescence before her. She moved behind the tom, following last.

Bramblepaw glanced nervously at the two warriors, and waited for one of them to take the lead. Of course Blizzardwing did, and so the younger apprentice jogged quickly behind the white tom, careful to keep his steps light and quiet as they briskly jogged away from the elder pine, cautious to not break out into a full run until they had put some distance between themselves and the two legs. He turned his head slightly to look at Brooktail, who brought up the rear, and he noticed the look of surprise and worry in her wide green eyes, and felt his stomach sink even more.

♕ -- Ivypaw nodded. "Eh, I don't care. Being a warrior is more for me." She sniffed the red berries. "They don't really smell of anything." She murmured. "I still can't tell the difference. I would make a terrible medicine cat." Ivypaw laughed. (sorry I had vanished)
Crowpaw twitched his whiskers. "Maybe, maybe not. Everyone's a terrible medicine cat until they go through the effort to not be." He shrugged. "Still, even warriors do well to have some knowledge of herbs. That way you can do some things yourself if you ever get lost or separated from the Clan somehow, or end up in an emergency where a medicine cat is unavailable. Though, wintergreen isn't really the most useful herb to know in either of those situations," he added with a laugh. "Anyways, we should probably keep on. There won't be much moonlight tonight either so we don't really want to find ourselves very far from camp when it gets dark." He picked up the winterberry branch in his jaws before turning his attention to the woods, trying to decide where the two should head next.

(Got it!)
Brooktail kept close behind the two. She kept an eye on the woods, fearful for them. Suddenly, she turned around. They were making a trail! Quickly, the silver she-cat grabbed a piece of dead bracken. She didn't even make a sound as the branch just fell off. Brooktail began to drag the branch behind her, stirring up the snow, and hiding their prints. Fresh snow was still falling. It made it almost impossible to see where they had once been. But, as a bonus, the cats were becoming covered in snow. It helped to hide their fluorescence.

Blizzardwing paused, glancing back as Brooktail hid their tracks. The white tom felt a pang of embarrassment, wishing he had thought of that after all he was the deputy. Remember she is older than you, she has more experience. He told himself as he shivered from the cold. The snow, although helpful with hiding their glow, made traveling uncomfortable. "We are almost to the camp." He murmured quietly, remembering that there was a back entrance to the camp, he and Coldfire used to use it all the time to sneak out as apprentices. It was a tiny hole in the bramble, something barely visible since he and his sister packed bramble at both entrances. (Is this ok?? If not I could change it!)

Brooktail paused and dropped the branch. They were still a little a way from camp, but they weren't there yet. "We can't go back to camp yet!" She whispered as loudly as she dared. "We could accidentally lead them there! We have to hide until they are gone." She said. The silvery she-cat shivered. They had no kits. But if they spotted Coldfire or Amberwing, they could be lost.

"We can't risk it! It would be more dangerous if we went back to camp, alerted them, and everyone making a bunch of noise! The twolegs sound like they are still down by the Elder Pine. They might not make it here." She cautioned. Part of Brooktail knew that Blizzardwing was right. But another part saw the danger as too much. She was torn.

Bramblepaw listened to the two older cats trying to figure out a plausible plan, has his own idea started to formulate in his head. He knew it was a dumb plan, and it was risky, but if it worked...
"I'll lead the twolegs away and give them false tracks to follow..." He said as they rain through the snow, Brooktail covering their tracks as they went. If the two older cats made it to camp without making any tracks, and the twolegs found his false ones...it would lead them far enough away from the camp. Without waiting for a response from the other two, since he knew the answer would be no, he quickly turned to the right and ran full speed into the woods, yelling a quick, "Don't follow me!" behind his shoulder.
