He was back on Clan territory. It had been a few days since his last exploration in RidgeClan lands, but he was more than ready to come back. Ever since he had left his mind had been on one thing - Chillberry. He knew, he knew more than anything, that he shouldn't be getting close to the other tomcat, that he was only there to pretend to be the Clan cat's friend, but Flame wasn't so sure how the plan would work. Maybe some other cat could do it... No. He had to do this. A part of him wanted to make Ahadi, make his mother, proud of him. A part of him wanted the rogue group to look up to him as the cat that had risked his life to spy directly on the Clan cats to learn their weaknesses. The tom wanted to feel like he was more than just another mouth to feed. He wanted to feel...special. You can be special to Chillberry, a voice resonated through his mind as he passed by a fern quivering with raindrops. Flame shook his head, trying to get the thought out of his mind, trying to get the warmth to stop pooling inside his stomach. There was no time for silly games with this. He had to make Ahadi proud and do this right.
Then came a lot of doubts to plague his mind.
Flame paused under the thick canopy of a cedar. Would Chillberry even be out in rain like this? Would he even be nearby in this particular area - the treeline right beside the Pastures? Flame was taking on way too many chances, and he was sure fate was against him. He would be lucky to even run into a Clan cat that was even half as kind as Chillberry. If anything he would either pass through undetected or be chased out by an aggressive warrior twice his size.

Ah, it was raining. Was this even worth it? Surely it wasn't. Yet, something told him that it was. Hopefully it was. It was. Sighing, the warrior took his trot to a run, just short of a sprint, as he weaved between cover points in an odd, barely coordinated path. Chillberry had no idea where he was going. He had no true destination, considering he had no idea where Flame had initially come from. Why did he want to meet with the orange pelted tom again? To feel that odd feeling in the out of his chest again. Yeah, that was why. Ah, but the rain. The rain told him to stop. Did he listen?
Of course not.
Where was he now? Skidding to a halt, the tom pulled himself up the nearest tree. Nearing the pastures. All he had to do was stick to the trees and avoid the creek... Hopefully that'd be easy.
For now, he stuck with leaping from branch to branch, occasionally pausing clean stray pieces of bark from under his claws. Once the pastures were clearly insight, and with a quick glance down, he decided that he was safely over the creek and began his descent to the forest floor.

What was that? Flame perked his ears forward. What he was hearing didn't sound like the usual raindrops falling from the trees. Instantly he felt his body tense. What if it was a Clan cat? A Clan cat that wasn't Chillberry? It wasn't like they had agreed to meet up here at a specific time or anything so he very well could be about to run into another Clan cat. This put Flame on edge. This time he could be getting himself into a fight - a fight he knew he wouldn't be able to win. He wasn't muscular like his mother, or even strong like her either. He was sleek and fast on his paws, a chaser of prey. He was like his father, or what little he could remember of the black tom. Onyx had been sleek and fast on his paws, a hunter more than a fighter. Flame would be dead if he were to get caught by a fully trained Clan cat.
Now on guard, Flame stayed where he was, hunkering down against the wet undergrowth. Maybe, just maybe, his fur would blend in well enough and his scent would be washed away by the rain enough to where he wouldn't be identified. Unless on the off chance the cat was Chillberry, then Flame could only hope that the brown and white tabby could find him.

Finally back on the ground, the white and tabby tom found himself on the tree line at the pastures. Alright, so, he was a decent ways away from the camp. Parting his jaws he drew in the scents around him, hoping he'd be lucky enough to scent the rogue somewhere near by. With the rain coming down the way it was, it was hard to scent much of anything. Hissing quietly, he started to walk in hopes of finding something.
It only took a couple minutes for him to stop with a dull scent finding its way into his parted jaws. With a deep breath in, he perked his ears forward, scanning the area around him. "Flame?" He questioned just loud enough to be heard by anyone in the immediate area. Loud enough to be heard, quiet enough to be dismissed by those who weren't paying attention.
