Redstorm listened intently as Chickenstar spoke, nodding along to his words as he spoke. She frowned a bit at the mention of Blackpelt because he was a friend to most cats here but she let slip a rare smile when he mentioned restoring the clan.All expression was wiped off her face in a moment of shock as he announced her name and then she was using all her strength to suppress a grin. Deputy! What an honor. Redstorm would be lying if she told herself she had never cared about being deputy but she knew there had been other good options as well. She took a few steps forward to better face Chickenstar. "I promise to do my best to help the clan and you in times to come," she mewed solemnly,gazing up at her leader with promise in her eyes. This was a big moment for Redstorm and she was proud of it, but she wouldn't be here without her clanmates. She turned to give them a small grin.

The moment of silence that came after he made his announcement was the hardest. He wasn't sure how the Clan was going to react in any way. He was sure they would all agree with him naming Redstorm as the new deputy - she was a hardworking and loyal cat. She had her flaws, but every cat did. Chickenstar could see that they would work well together as leader and deputy, a duo that would bring back the power RidgeClan had back when Stormstar had been leader. Surely the Clan would be able to see Chickenstar's reasoning of Redstorm as deputy. 

A sense of relief flooded over the bi-colored tom when Redstorm stepped forward and accepted his naming of her as deputy. He smiled to the she-cat, dipping his head in her direction. "I know you will. You'll be a wonderful deputy," he mewed with pride in his voice. So far everything he had planned was going well. Now it was time for the part of the meeting that would really get cats talking. He drew in a deep breath to steady himself before going on with it. "I also called this meeting for another reason. I..." He felt himself falter in this moment. Chickenstar paused and found that looking at Flickershine gave him a new sense of confidence that he needed right now. "I would like to introduce a new rank to the Clan. No warrior is worth more than the next, but in these hard times, I feel as if this will help us more than harm us as a Clan." He would start it there and see how the Clan reacted. If they seemed approving then he would continue on with his idea.

She had left the rogue camp soon after her son had returned from his hunt. She had noticed Ahadi speaking with Flame but about what she had no idea. The thick furred she-cat had no idea why her son had been Ahadi's interest, but she would perhaps find out sooner or later. Her son couldn't hide everything from her before long. Oh yes, she would find out soon enough. Flame would give her the details. But for now she had other things to think about - as a fighter she often went out to check for any suspicious activity near the rogues' makeshift border. Before long they would have the entire forest to themselves. Before long the Clan cats would be all gone. Perfect, she mused to herself at the thought.

Crystal stepped around a few bushes nearby, her tail flicking over them as if to mark them as her own. She could tell she was getting closer to the Clan border, but Crystal didn't care about that. She could go wherever she wanted, no cat could stop her. So on she went, not giving a rat's tail if a Clan cat spotted her or not; she could take them if they wanted a fight.

Ah, it didn't take long for a Clan cat to appear. Crystal snorted, rolling her eyes when she spotted a tom coming forward and questioning her for trespassing on Clan territory. The fighter shrugged her broad shoulders, looking the Clan cat over with narrowed amber eyes. "Oh, have I stepped onto your territory? I didn't know I had, your scent markings must be weak," she mewed with a somewhat annoyed tone to her voice. She could easily take this tom down if he tried doing anything. Crystal knew she was strong. If she wasn't Ahadi would have never allowed her to join his group in the start.

Oatshine sighed softly as he saw right through her lie. Sweeping her tail till I rested, curled around her paws, she frowned slightly. "Yeah, wasn't the best rights sleep. I just couldn't get comfortable and just .. yeah," Oatshine mewed softly. The pale ginger tabby looked over at Galefoot. Her ears heated slightly as looked at the attractive tomcat that sat with her.

Turkeyfoot had decided to move towards the crowd of cats gathered around Chickenstar. It had been a while since she had left the vicinity of the medicine cat den, and it was refreshing, though hard, for her to get up and join her clanmates. The ruddy she-cat made a point to be quiet about it and settled near the outskirts of the group. She felt an odd sense of pride when Chickenstar addressed the clan, rallying them for a better RidgeClan, and naming Redstorm deputy. Though she didn't cheer for the new deputy due to an anxiety of being noticed by the cats around her, a small smile still showed on her face. She wasn't too keen on Redstorm in the position, as the she-cat was often a bit too... rebellious for her tastes, but she still respected Chickenstar's decision. Though she did hope she wasn't wrong about this deputy's potential. Before she could think too much about the new deputy, she heard Chickenstar mention a "new rank". Turkeyfoot straightened up, tail bristling. There had never been a change in ranks before in clan history. She wanted to have full faith in the tom and his leadership, but this was too outlandish for Turkeyfoot. Things were tough, yes, but RidgeClan had never needed a new rank before, so why did it need one now? Part of her wanted to stand up and counter his suggestion, but she was brought back to that fateful midnight and forced herself down, already having enough just reliving the memories.

So far it seemed as if the Clan was welcoming this idea of a new rank. Chickenstar gave himself an internal pep talk that this would be good for the Clan. If any cat had doubt in the need of a new rank he would very well want to hear what they had to say. For now, though, it seemed as if no cat was standing up to defy his suggestion. So he took that as a sign to keep going. This new rank was something he had thought on for a while now, and for all he knew it wouldn't even be permanent, it would just be a rank to have for a few seasons until things settled down. But Chickenstar just felt like it was right. So he went into explaining it.

"This new rank will be a head warrior. With as much work that we need to do, there is a possibility that both Redstorm and I will be out of camp at the same time, and if something were to happen we may not have a cat to go to. In such a case the head warrior will act as a leader of the sorts if neither leader or deputy is out of camp. If just the deputy is out of camp then the head warrior will act as deputy. That being said, this cat will see to it that patrols are doing as they are told. If Redstorm is out of camp on a hunting patrol and she has asked for a border patrol to head out as well, the head warrior will see to it that a border patrol is set on its way. There is no guarantee that the head warrior will ever become the actual deputy, but he or she will be a respected warrior that Redstorm and I can go to for any kind of help." Chickenstar stopped there, hoping all of this made sense to the Clan. Even if there wasn't two deputies, he wanted the Clan to feel as if there were in a way. He didn't want RidgeClan to be without a deputy any longer than it needed to be. After everything that had happened he wanted to make sure the Clan had a well rounded sense of security. He could only hope his Clan would feel the same. "This rank may only last a few seasons or stay forever, but I want to at least give it a try. With that being said, I hope StarClan approves of my choice. Thistlestride, you are to be RidgeClan's first head warrior."

Crystal eyed the tomcat through a narrow gaze. She snickered under her breath, looking at the white and gray tom as she lashed her tail. "Is the poor Clan kitty scared of me?" She mocked with a laugh in her words. "Is he going to attack poor ol' me? Pathetic," she hissed, unsheathing her claws as she prepared herself for a fight. Crystal was sure this tomcat was mouse-brained enough to try and fight her; he was going to lose horribly, but if he wanted a fight then she would more than gladly give it to him. It was time to show these Clan cats who was boss, especially after one had killed her only daughter some seasons ago. It was time to take revenge.

as far as I know the only ones who have definitely claimed a kit are me and phoenix so there's only two right now XD you can definitely make one and if one more person wanted a kit as well that'd be fine. I'll do my responses in a bit }}
