Malik shifted where he sat, trying to give the two privacy as he had turned his back to the other two felines, but the warmth from where Yasha's fur had pressed against his was gone...and he found himself missing it. Still, he couldn't help but feel...jealous? Was that the word? Why would he be jealous of Shard? Maybe it was just curiosity over what they were talking about...yes, that seemed about right.
Sakari paused for a moment, staring at the other black furred feline before nodding. He...was honestly one of the few that she supposed she trusted. For a brief moment, she let her fur carefully press against his as if in attempt to calm her nerves. "I-If you say so.." She said softly, pausing once more in favor of looking back up at him, "you'll be careful if they do though, right?" Her eyes flickered over to his leg once more.
"Why yes, it is!" Xia said with a little huff, but smirked slightly as she nudged him. "You look about as threatening as a kitten right now." Her 'compliment' had turned into a slight taunting voice and she couldn't help but giggle, even falling onto her side a little. He really did look rather...well, fluffy. "I think 'Nero' might be too scary of a name for you!"

Shiva chuckled and flicked his tail, then waded out deeper into the water and began to swim. Shiva, though a large cat, cut through the water practically effortlessly.
"Why don't you just tell me instead of trying to be discreet?" Yasha suggested. She was straightforward, but not rude to Shard.

Indah watched her leader then charged in after him. She began swimming as well and swam beside him. Tigers were some of the few big cats that actually liked to swim.

"No," Shard meowed sharply, he glared at Yasha accusingly. "You don't understand do you?" He was saddened by the way Yasha spoke to him, Shard dug his paws into the ground. "You don't know what it feels like to know that if you tell someone something it might turn them against you," The snow leopard looked away, eyes glazed. "Why did I ever like you in that way," He muttered under his breath, still saddened by Yasha's straight foward but harsh tone. He gritted his teeth, aware that Malik was looking at them curiously. Why is he even sad, Yasha is only a few pawsteps away? Doesn't he understand the heart-destroying pain I go through almost every day because of him?
[ I can just imagine the song Tears by Clean Bandit playing when Shard in speaking XD ]
Nero grinned widely and lifted a brow to Xia's words, "As threatening as a kitten? Well, I'll keep that in mind," He teased, tail twitching with playfulness. "Well, I'm sure you'll regret saying that right after this!" The tiger leaped up to his paws and playfully pushed Xia to make her fall into the water, he sat down and licked a paw; smirking teasingly. |

Poor Shard)
Nova begins to walk back to camp. She was dragging a warthog back to camp. Her goal had been some zebra but something spooked them and they bolted. So she had to settle for this instead. Later on after she cooled down Nova would go back out to grab something a lot bigger.

If you really wanted me... both a chance... The words echoed in Shard's head, the male stepped back at looked at Yasha with... uncertainty? Shard shook his head and looked at Yasha in the eyes, his gaze was firm and bold yet portrayed worry and sadness. "But I know you've already made your decision," He muttered under his breath, turning away when the snow leopard shouldered past him. Shard looked at the exit of the cave, then turned to face Malik. "Your lucky," He growled, his voice was filled with sorrow; "I don't think Yasha will ever be kind to me after this,"
and with that Shard turned away and prowled out of the cave, he watched Yasha pad off not far ahead of him. The male looked away, Yasha probably wouldn't want to speak to me right now... Shard stepped closer to Yasha's figure, but his head dropped down between his shoulders. |

Buchanan padded into the cave, dragging a large hare behind him. It was a snowshoe, so its fur could be used to line the nursery's nests. The dark cougar proudly trotted with it in tow. |

(Okay Great ) Gabriel yawned softly as he was just now waking up from where he lay in the branches of a tree, though he preferred the jungle climate, this particular tree was near the watering hole. The young Jaglion had drifted off while fishing. After no success he had climbed the tree and drifted off. As he stretched, he flexed his claws and dragged them against the rough bark. The branch groaned under the weight of him and his movements caused a slight bending of the wood, which he noted "Gonna have to stick to the lower thicker branches from now on." he hopped to the lower ones before landing neatly on the ground with a soft "thud." Cassiel looked around for his mentor, flicking his ears attentively, the smaller of the two jaglions stuck to the shadows as he walked silently around, being sure to stay out of others way. He was alone, which was a rare sight, considering Gabriel tended to stick around his brother quite a bit. The turn of events was favorable to Cassiel however, because though he loved his brother sometimes a break was in order. Silence was sometimes much appreciated, it gave him time to gather his thoughts. |

Indah giggled as she dove down as well and came back up too. She swam up towards him and ducked her head under, sucked up some water into her mouth, then rose back up and spat the water out at him with a laugh.

Shard stopped, he stooped low to the ground and watched Yasha march towards the snowy mountains. He blinked and sighed, falling back on his haunches and watching the snow leopard. Don't give up! A voice cried in his head Shard shook his head in disagreement. She wouldn't be pleased to see me, the snow leopard growled to himself but the battle of will was decided; Shard stood up and prowled after Yasha, he kept his distance from her just in case she was still angry and would lash out at him. |

Yasha heard the pawsteps behind her, but continued on anyway. She even sped up; the feline broke into a canter, then a full sprint. With her powerful hind legs, she launched herself up a tree and followed the thickest branches from tree to tree.
Buchanan set the hare down among some other prey in the cave, then licked his jaws and looked around. His rounded ears twitched and his blue eyes shined. He licked his muzzle and looked around, then he brightened as he spotted Cassiel. Today was a bright day, so he eagerly padded over. "Are you up to training today?" He asked, long tail flicking.
Shiva shook his head and swatted her with a heavy, wet paw. "How dare you spit at your king?" He teased, pushing her underwater.

She growled playfully then took a breath as she was pushed under. Wriggling out from under his paw she bent down on her hindpaws then thrust up so she shot up and her belly and forepaws came out of the water and she came down on him. "How dare you force your loyal huntress under! Got you!" She said playfully, though her eyes had the small twinkle of love in them.

Malik twitched an ear, unsure of what was happening. Had...he done something? The lion let out a soft huff. Did Shard really like her that much? His eyes narrowed slightly, a bit of jealousy eating away at him...but surprisingly, the lion merely let out a soft chuckle as he laid his head down upon his paws. Aside from the fact that he was still recovering from his injuries, perhaps...perhaps things were meant to be this way? Maybe Shard would be the 'lucky one'.
"Yes, as threatening as a kitten. A very fluffy kitten." Xia nodded confidently before tilting her head. "After wh-" She trailed off with a yelp and a hiss as she was pushed back into the water. Standing up, her fur was soaked once more and she gave Nero a rather pointed glaring look, even if she did giggle a little. "Correction. A deer-brained, fluffy kitten." She shook out her fur, trying to get as many of the droplets of water off of her as she could.
Sakari gave a small, hesitant nod. "O-okay," she spoke softly, looking down at her paws. "U-uhm...Would you like to go for a little walk? O-only if you're up for it though! I don't want to make your leg hurt more than it should..."

Indah roared playfully and bounded out of the stream, water flying off her in huge orbs. She ran towards him, playfulness gleaning in her eyes.

Cassiel, broken out of his thoughts by the other cat speaking to him, pricked his ears up, and his eyes brightened "O-oh...Sure" he nodded softly, and his ears twitched forward and he shuffled his paws in excitement "What are we going to do?" he asked tilting his head. It didn't much matter to him what they did in honesty, he enjoyed training and becoming better at whatever was asked of him. Having only grown up with Gabriel, he hadn't got much a chance to actually learn much from older, more experienced cats.
Gabriel titled his head sitting be the edge of the watering hole, his eyes lighting in mirth as he watched Shiva and Indah, and his tail began to flip slightly back and forth, amused by the playful actions by the two older felines. He remained quiet, just watching his mentor and king play with the tigress. The jaglion licked his paw and drew it over his ears, mind already racing with some mischief he could get into while he was unsupervised.

Hey hey)
Nova managed to arrive back at camp and heads over to the prey pile. She places the warthog down and sits down in front of it. She hoped someone would be grateful for her catch. Glancing around the cheetah wondered what everyone was up too.
Dashi was on his back and looking up at the sky. His mind wondered about random topics as he watched the clouds slowly pass on by.
Salem groomed his fur.
