James Fraser: James is an average sized 20 year old man with dirty blonde hair and green eyes. He is pretty muscular from helping out on his family's farm before they got their slaves. He has always been told that it was their right to own the slaves because it was they way that it was always meant to work out, if it wasn't God wouldn't let them keep them. He had never questioned what all the adults in his life said was right, but he had never treated their slaves as badly as the rest of his family or the other farm-hands had, and he had always questioned what made the slaves different from him and his family besides having a darker color skin. However, he doesn't take well to people trying to take his property away from his. He left his home in Vicksburg to enlist in the Confederate army to prevent President Lincoln and the Union from taking their slaves and ruining their farm.

Jaime sat in his tent in the base that he had been assigned to, waiting for orders from the general. He hadn't been awake long, so he decided to go to grab some grits from the cooks. He nodded to a couple of the other soldiers on his way to get his food. He couldn't say he really had many friends in the camp, mostly because he had been keeping to himself. Almost all his friends and family had told him that it would be a quick win for the Confederacy, so he didn't see any reason in making friends when they would be parting ways soon. Speaking of his family, he had gotten a letter from his younger sister he still had to read and respond to.
