The air on this night was much more frigid than a normal fall night, one might say that they could feel the Leaf-Bare rolling in. But like more other things, that did not deter the young cat, her pelt was thick enough to keep out all of the air that could potentially send her back to her den. She had come out into the dark, head bobbing on the top of the surface before clambering up (not very gracefully I might add) onto the dock for a midnight hunt. This was the night, the night that everything would change. Her dappled fur shone in the moon-light and her green eyes were swiftly flicking around, observing everything. She shook her head determinedly and raised her hackles, looking around she opened her mouth to scent the air. She could not smell what she was looking for- and generally her sense of smell was more keen than most. Hissing with frustration she began at a brisk pace, not that it was very fast according to others. Dipping under some brush and pouncing over a fallen tree with ease she looked around, stopping to smell once more. Ah-Ha! She finally found it. With a run she raced towards the end of her days, not knowing the horrors that would come with her private task. For it had been one that would have never been accomplished by even the best of the Privates. It was one where she would have to seek out the most fearsome of beasts, and try to live to tell the tale.
Many moons ago, more than you or I can count, humans were becoming an endangered breed along with many of the wild cats around the world. Because there were so many humans at one point, there was an airborn plague that killed many of them, followed by a large earthquake that shook the lives of so many Americans. And in the birth of all of this rubble, they decided to make a nature preserve specifically for wild cats in order to keep them alive (after they had realized all of the damage they had done to the planet) expecting to move them to a more secure area in a few years. But when they came back to take the animals away, they found that they were flourishing, much to everyone surprise, and decided not to move them as they had originally planned but to leave them and make sure that there was no human interference with the cats. These days, many moons after the humans had returned, the cats have formed organized groups after fighting had ensued all over the land. This thus lead to the making of the three clans, Nosonclan, Liasclan and Awyrclan. Three cats were chosen to lead these clans, Awyr from Awyrclan. Night from Nosonclan and Lias from Liasclan. After these clans were made, they pursed in making sure that all cats were welcome, though some were higher than others. The pure-bloods were the top of the clan, many thinking themselves above the others, they are descendants of the wild cats that were transported there and now only breed with members of their own specific species. The cats just below them and ones that are mixed species of wild cats, they are one of the most common and are called Mixed-Bloods. The ones below them are known as Half-Bloods, and are a mix between domesticated cats and wild cats. These would be thought to be one of the most common, but generally wold cats will not consort with Mud-Bloods as that can create problems for their kits and they themselves. And at the bottom are Mud-Bloods, the purely domesticated cat that are just as strong and loyal as the others but thought less of because they can be "soft." The clan that values these rankings most, is Nosonclan by far, and this clan generally wont even take in domesticated cats. There was not always peace between the Clans, but that was to be expected--cats are born with claws and teeth for a reason. Still, as long as they lived by the originals code, their original ancestors would watch over them and guide them through their lives. Now all of the clans gladly make this lake their home as it always lush in prey and can support them, until now....

Liasclan is one of the three clans around the lake that consider the Originals to be their ancestors. They live in a small abandoned town that the humans and cats alike call Lake-Town, and now is left looking just as shabby as when the humans were living in it. Other parts of their territory consist of very dense and full temperate deciduous forest area. With lust green plant and trees it could be an area from a fairly-tale, and the cats generally will treat it as such. Their love for the water is unmatched by any clan anywhere, and they are also known for their amazing skill in fishing. They are also known to love the forests just as much, often walking through them just to feel the breeze and the leaves on their fur. They eat mainly fish, but they can also eat water voles, shrews, and mice. They are contented, sleek, well-fed cats with well-groomed fur. But that does not mean that they are fat or slow, no sir, because they are always swimming and running, this allows them to gain even more muscle and now they have developed a very strong and broad bodies. Sure this may slow them down a little, but they make up for it in brute strength. They are known to be clever and graceful but are perceived outside their Clan as being stubborn and lazy. Though they can hunt in the gorge and the cliffs, these cats dislike adding birds to their fresh-kill pile. Sometimes other They are quite strong swimmers and move through the water as if they are part of it. Their lightning reflexes help them scoop fish and jumping from the dock. The majority of wildcats in this clan are fishing cat, skilled at fishing and swimming, which is why they had originally chosen the territory on the lake.
❦ A clan that generally sticks to eating fish and rodents that occasionally stray onto the wooden docks, they are the most skilled swimmers of them all. Their main territory is an abandoned town that used to be called Lake-Town, and now is left looking just as shabby as when the humans were living in it. The town is constructed entirely of wood and stood upon wooden pillars sunk into the bed of the Long Lake, which served the humans protection and shelter from all surrounding civilizations. It was situated on the west side of the lake, north of the mouth of the Forest River in a calm bay that was formed by the shelter of a rock promontory. A long wooden bridge connected the town to the land, ending in a small building that meets with the forest, with guards watching over the entrance. In the middle of Lake-town (which is still what the cats call it) the central market-place was located, which was a round pool connected to the lake by a tunnel. They now use this as a place of gatherings and the leader stands on the balcony of the tallest house of the town. The greatest houses of Lake-town were around this market-place, from which ramps descended to the water. The edge of the town was occupied with quays and, again, ramps, which descended to the water. ❦ It is not known when the town was built, though warriors have been living in it for over a century and humans a century before. When going to the lake one who notice old pilings of a (possibly older) greater town along the shores when the waters sink in a drought. The rise in water may have been what drove the humans away from Lake-Town. ❦ The rest of the territory belonging to Lake-Town is dense green forests that stretch as far as the eye can see- making the name for the Forest River that is a wide, rapid filled torrent that can kill even the strongest of swimmers. When going out into the bay, there is a lovely bayou before exiting. This is where some cats prefer to fish- though most will jump from the docks onto unsuspecting prey. ❦ Lake-Town- The place that the cats predominantly spend their time. This consists of a town that may have only held five hundred humans and therefore it is quite small and the houses are much thinner and taller than what one would see in a suburban home today. The docks cover most of the land, and they more often than not hunt there for food. ❦ The Forest- This is a temperate broadleaf deciduous forest, meaning that many of the same genera, previously part of an Arcto-Tertiary Geoflora, are common to all three of the disjunct northern hemisphere expressions of this biome. Included among these genera are oak, maple, beech, chestnut, hickory, elm, basswood or linden, walnut, and sweet gum. A tree height, 60 -100 feet high, dominated regionally by various combinations of the genera listed above; a small tree or sapling layer, with not only younger specimens of the tall trees with species limited to this layer such as Allegheny serviceberry or shadbush, sourwood, dogwood, and redbud; a shrub layer often with members of the heath family such as rhododendron, azaleas, mountain laurel, and huckleberries; an herb layer of perennial forbs that bloom primarily in early spring; and a ground layer of lichens, club mosses, and true mosses. Lichens and mosses also grow on the trunks of trees. Lianas such as wild grape, poison ivy, and Virginia creeper climb the trees to flower and fruit high in the forest canopy. ❦ The Forest River- A wide, rapid filled torrent that moves all the way through the territory and exits on the left side of the town when looking from the guard station. This is very dangerous to all cats, even the biggest and the best swimmers, but is very beneficial when it comes to the means of prey. At the end nearest the lake, it opens up into a wide bayou that flows very slowly. The cats can gain strength and skill by swimming against the current that slowly gets more and more swift when moving up. ❦ The Bog- Located in the furthest part of their territory bordering with Nosonclan there is a very expansive bog that the apprentices are often taught in. These harsh ponds and wetlands also give rise to large clearings of meadows were fighting and training can take place. This also enables them to train for walking through Nosonclan territory. Though it does not serve well for any tasty kinds of prey and when not training they generally avoid it. ❦ The Cliffs- Marking the border between their clan and Awyrclan, there is a very sharp cliff with a gorge below, forged by a river that runs through it. Though it is wide it is very slow moving and not a threat to any cat that would try to cross it. Within there territory there is a small portion of mountains like the ones one would see in Awyrclan, and though they rarely go into them because they are generally better suited for the water, they can go there to catch food when prey is scarce. ❦ The Docks- These are the things that the cats use to travel on when going through the camp, they are always on top of the water no matter what- held up by large pillars in the ground of the lake. Sometimes they may produce splinters, which is a very common injury for these cats, and are moldy in the parts that the cats do not use. These are what the other clans will greet cats on, and not in their camp. ❦ The Twolegplace- In the very back of the territory is an active twolegplace, though it is quite small and not very people live in the houses that are there. But because of the location, there are a lot of stray cats here and house cats who like to wander into the clans territory. Generally they fight them off but sometimes they will just leave them to get their thrill and leave. ❦ The Camp- The camp is the many passages and tunnels under the docks, running big enough to hold hoards of humans in times of war. These can only be accessed by jumping into the water of the gathering place and swimming below the surface about five feet where there is an entrance on the bottom of the wood which will not let water in through because it hold so much air. This is held down by many stone blocks to keep it from surfacing. The air in other compartments of the camp is filtered through the docks roof and is completely water proof as humans engineered it that way. The first tunnel from the entrance leads to the largest part of the camp, or the clearing, which is now covered with different types of moss and ivy that was put there to make it more breathable. It is generally very dark down there, though there are lights that somehow are still lit and sunlight seeps through the cracks in the dock. Straight ahead from the clearing is a long tunnel leading to a much smaller clearing with two dens branching from it, the retirees den and the nursery. When entering on the left there is two large dens one holding the privates and the other the general. The general's den is down a long tunnel into a small room with much more ferns, ivy and moss than the other dens. every den has lichen hanging from the top and making an entrance that helps to keep in heat. Adjacent to that on the right side there is the trainees den and behind that a small den holding the six corporals. </div>

Forum Rules The rules that have already been put in place are expected to be followed but we would like to highlight a few, please be courteous. There is no bickering or being rude, if you don't like something politely tell them or a founder. Everything is expected to be kept at a PG level, sorry guys I'm disappointed too, and lastly please do not spam the page, the comments will be reported to the moderators. Joining
Please use the correct form when joining, we give it in that way for a specific reason and it is expected to be followed. Of course there are guidelines to joining- just like every role play -and the moderators will check your forum and give you an okay if it has everything we are looking for and nothing we don't want. While you are waiting for you form to be checked you are allowed to start role playing. But, if we see something that you have put into the role play relating to something that we have politely asked you to take out it should be done without any other mentions or complaints. Making characters from the books and their names are off limits, of course the names should not be a problem as all of the names are in Welsh or a bit more like a tribes. When joining it really helps the reviewer if you do proper formatting given and making the characters smaller. Of course you will have to do this in the role play, so you might as well get use to it. Please do not apply for spots, kindly put the power position that you would like your character to have (if you see that it is free) in parenthesis on the bottom of the form. Please, no unrealistic characters. If it wasn't in the books (no powers please) then it shouldn't be in your characters. When joining please specify what kind of cat they are and make sure to read all of the information pertaining to the species. This will enable you to choose a vat that is suited for you. Because we would also like some domesticated cats, for every three cats you make in ALL of the clans, you will be required to make a normal cat. If you plan on making less than that, then you should have at least one domesticated cat... this will make this go more smoothly in the end. When joining, look up Welsh names and make sure to use one that is NOT already used in any of the clans, you can check by pressing CTRL+F on all of them or the joining page. Thanks.
Read the Information
Please read all of the information pertaining to this case role play. (sorry I'm in law class) It is put out there for a reason, and the more you know the less likely you are of getting mixed up. This will also stop people from getting mixed up. This isn't a regular role play, the point was to create a unique clan, which also means that reading this information may just help you with things later on, such as joining. We will trust that you have read all of the information and not have a codewords as that is just silly, and if you show not to know it the moderators will give you a warning to read over the information. It would probably be helpful to also read the information in all of the clans, not only this one, even if you are only applying for this role play.
Literacy
Before I get into the information about long posts, I would like to stress the face that you should be able to structure full, complete and literate sentences. DO NOT mess them up on purpose and if there is more than one mistake per post it gets a little bit tiring. This is an advanced literate role play, and although I do not want the posts to be full on chapters from books I do expect you to try and type at least six lines of information with subs. The big writing is messing and not as easy on the eyes, please let use know if you have an eye disability so we can accommodate it by using normal text. This enables others to have more opportunities for replies and keeps it more interesting than :"Whatever," he said. Please, please use " " instead of * * and correct capitalization, punctuation, grammar and so forth shouldn't have any problems. I'll give some leniency, but please, don't constantly reply with grammar mistakes and two lines. It also helps if you reply with smaller texts, but if you cannot I understand.
Activity
Many people have put their blood and sweat into this role play, and if you plan on not being active that just disgraces us. If you decide that you can no longer role play, just tell us, It'll be fine, but please don't up and leave without telling anyone. We have high hopes for this, and if one person leaves you know that it starts a chain reaction like nothing else. This is probably the most important rule I would like to stress. You must be on at least every two days, it is summer and during this period people should be on a lot. If you are missing for more than two, we will track you down and give you a warning. If you do not become active within the next day, we will delete your characters. Please tell us if you plan on being gone for an extended period of time. We all have a life.
Role-Playing
God-modding, Spotlighting and powerplaying are strictly forbidden, if you want to highlight your character in any way, please ask one of the founders. Don't worry, everyone has a tenancy to do this, especially me, so if you feel like you're doing it or you are warned, then just back track a bit and fix the mistake before moving forwards. God-Modding refers to when your character is seemingly unbeatable, because every strike towards your character misses and every strike your character gives makes it. Then all of a sudden they are just simply invincible. Please, it is very easy to do and control, and it can be quite frustrating for the other person role playing, making them want to do it back. Make sure that when you are fighting that you always say "aimed" a strike and leave it at that. These posts might be the shortest, but it is better than the cat delivering forty moves to the other and then at last saying they aimed. When if want to point out that the strike will most likely hit, please put: skillfully aimed or something like it.

❦ African Golden Cat - The African golden cat has variable fur color, typically ranging from cinnamon or reddish-brown to grey, although melanistic forms also exist. It can be either spotted, with the spotting ranging from faded tan to heavy black in color, or not spotted at all. Its undersides and areas around the eyes, cheeks, chin, and throat are generally lighter in color and may be almost white. Its tail is darker on the top and may be heavily banded, lightly banded, or plain, although it always ends in a black tip. Those cats in the western parts of its range tend to have heavier spotting than those in the eastern areas. Two color morphs, a red and a grey phase, were once thought to indicate separate species, rather than variations of the same species. ❦ Andean Mountain Cat | Asian Asiatic Golden Cat - Its habitat and appearance make it the small cat analog of the snow leopard. It lives around 3,500–4,800 m (11,500–15,700 ft)—well above the tree line—and only where there is water to support it. While it is about the size of a domestic cat, it appears larger because of its long tail and thick fur. Like snow leopards, the coat of an Andean mountain cat is silvery-grey in color, with a white underside and numerous dark spots and stripes. There are black rings around the tail and limbs.
❦ Black-footed Cat - The black-footed cat is one of the smallest cat species. Adult resident males weigh on average 4.2 lb and a maximum of 5.4 lb. Adult resident females weigh on average 2.9 lb and a maximum of 3.6 lb. Only the pads and underparts of its feet are black, which gives the black-footed cat its name. The fur varies in colour from cinnamon-buff to tawny, and is patterned with black or brown spots that merge to form rings on the legs, neck, and tail. The skin, however, is unpigmented pink, unlike that of other spotted cats. The backs of the rounded ears are the same color as the background coat color. The eyes are very large.
❦ Bobcat - The bobcat resembles other species of the Lynx genus, but is on average the smallest of the four. Its coat is variable, though generally tan to grayish-brown, with black streaks on the body and dark bars on the forelegs and tail. Its spotted patterning acts as camouflage. The ears are black-tipped and pointed, with short, black tufts. There is generally an off-white color on the lips, chin, and underparts. Bobcats in the desert regions of the southwest have the lightest-colored coats, while those in the northern, forested regions are darkest. Kittens are born well-furred and already have their spots.
❦ Bornean Bay Cat - The bay cat is much smaller than the Asian golden cat. Its fur is of a bright chestnut colour, rather paler beneath, the limbs and the tail being rather paler and redder. The tail is elongated, tapering at the end, with a white central streak occupying the rear half of the lower side, gradually becoming wider and of a purer white towards the tip, which has a small black spot at its upper end. The ears are rounded, covered with a short blackish-brown fur at the outer side, paler brown within and with a narrow brown margin.
❦ Canada Lynx - The appearance of the Canada lynx is similar to that of the Eurasian lynx: the dense fur is silvery brown and may bear blackish markings. In summer, its coat takes on a more reddish brown color. It has a furry ruff which resembles a double-pointed beard, a short tail with a black tip, and long furry tufts on its ears. Its long legs with broad furred feet aid in traveling through deep snow. Males are larger than females. Although the species is larger on average than the bobcat, it is less variable in size and the largest bobcat outsize the lynx.
❦ Caracal - The caracal is distinguished from Felis by the presence of a long tuft on the tip of the ears, exceeding half their length. No trace of pattern remains in the coat, except a few spots on the underside and inside of the fore legs.[4] It is a slender, long-legged cat of medium size with a relatively short tail. The fur on the back and sides is generally of a uniform tawny grey or reddish, frosted-sand colour. The belly and the undersides of the legs and chest are whitish and spotted or blotched with pale markings. The tufted ears are black-backed. Black caracals also occur. The skull is high and rounded. The jaw is short, stoutly built, and equipped with large, powerful teeth.
❦ Chinese Mountain Cat | Chinese Desert Cat - Except for the colour of its fur, this cat resembles a European wildcat in its physical appearance. It is 27–33 in long, plus a 11.5–16 in tail. The adult weight can range from 14 to 20 lb. They have a relatively broad skull, and long hair growing between the pads of their feet. The fur is sand-coloured with dark guard hairs; the underside is whitish, legs and tail bear black rings. In addition there are faint dark horizontal stripes on the face and legs, which may be hardly visible. The ears and tail have black tips, and there are also a few dark bands on the tail.
❦ Eurasian Lynx - It has powerful, relatively long legs, with large webbed and furred paws that act like snowshoes. It also possesses a short "bobbed" tail with an all-black tip, black tufts of hair on its ears, and a long grey-and-white ruff. During the summer, the Eurasian lynx has a relatively short, reddish or brown coat, which tends to be more brightly coloured in animals living at the southern end of its range. In winter, however, this is replaced by a much thicker coat of silky fur that varies from silver-grey to greyish-brown. The underparts of the animal, including the neck and chin, are white at all times of the year. The fur is almost always marked with black spots, although the number and pattern of these are highly variable. Some animals also possess dark brown stripes on the forehead and back. Although spots tend to be more numerous in animals from southern populations, Eurasian lynx with heavily spotted fur may exist close to others with plain fur.
❦ Fishing Cat - The fishing cat’s paws have webbing between the toes to help it swim and walk in muddy wetlands without sinking. The cat’s tail is fairly short, less than half of its body length, and its coat is olive-gray with black spots and stripes. The fishing cat’s fur has two layers: one layer is very short and dense to keep the cat’s skin warm and dry during time spent in the water; longer hairs, called guard hairs, give the cat its color pattern, which is great for camouflage. Female fishing cats are much smaller than the males. This cat can only be found in Liasclan.
❦ Flat-headed Cat - The flat-headed cat is distinguished at once by the extreme depression of the skull, which extends along the nose to the extremity of the muzzle, the sides of which are laterally distended. The general habit of body is slender, and the extremities are delicate and lengthened. The head itself is more lengthened and cylindrical than in the domestic cat. The distance between the eyes and the ears is comparatively great. The cylindrical form and lateral contraction of the head is contrasted by an unusual length of the teeth. The canine teeth are nearly as long as in an individual of double its size. The thick fur is reddish-brown on top of the head, dark roan brown on the body, and mottled white on the underbelly. The face is lighter in color than the body, and the muzzle and chin are white. Two prominent buff whitish streaks run on either side of the nose between the eyes. The ears are rounded. The eyes are unusually far forward and close together, compared with other cats, giving the felid improved stereoscopic vision. The teeth are adapted for gripping onto slippery prey, and the jaws are relatively powerful. These features help the flat-headed cat to catch and retain aquatic prey, to which it is at least as well adapted as the fishing cat. Legs are fairly short. Claws are retractable, but the covering sheaths are so reduced in size that about two-thirds of the claws are left protruding.
❦ Geoffroy’s Cat - Their fur has numerous black spots, but the background colour varies from region to region: in the north, a brownish-yellow coat is most common; farther south, the coat is grayish. As with most wild cats, the fur of the underbelly is paler, being cream-colored or even white. There are dark bands on the tail and limbs, and similar markings on the cheeks and across the top of the head and neck. The backs of the ears are black, with white spots (ocelli). Melanism is common both in the wild and in captivity.
❦ Iberian Lynx - The Iberian lynx portrays many of the typical characteristics of lynxes, such as tufted ears, long legs, short tail, and a ruff of fur that resembles a "beard". Unlike its Eurasian relatives, the Iberian lynx is tawny colored and spotted. The coat is also noticeably shorter than in other lynxes, which are typically adapted to colder environments. Some western populations were spotless but are believed to be extinct, Studies have been carried out on the configuration of spots and determining the degree of genetic diversity within the species.
❦ Iriomote Cat - The fur of the Iriomote cat is mostly dark gray and light brown, with the hair on the stomach and insides of the limbs being lighter. Hair along the jaw is white. On each cheek are two dark brown spots. Like the leopard cat, there are 5–7 stripes that span from the forehead to the back of the head, but unlike the leopard cat the stripes stop before reaching the shoulders. Dark brown spots cover the sides of the body, and there are 3–4 bands of irregular stripes on the chest. The tails are dark brown; darker spots pattern the back side of the tail while the underside of the tail is solid. The tip of the tail is dark.Their necks are also thick, and their shoulders are muscular, though their jumping power is comparatively weak. Unlike other small cats, their spines cannot bend sharply.
❦ Jaguarundi - The jaguarundi has short legs, an elongated body, and a long tail. The ears are short and rounded. The coat is without spots, uniform in color, with, at most, a few faint markings on the face and underside. The coat can be either blackish to brownish-grey (grey phase) or foxy red to chestnut (red phase); individuals of both phases can be born in the same litter. It has a total length of 53 to 77 cm (21 to 30 in) with a 31- to 60-cm-long tail, and weighs 3.5 to 9.1 kg (7.7 to 20.1 lb).
❦ Jungle Cat - The jungle cat is the largest of the living Felis species. It has a small tuft on the ears, a comparatively short tail, and a distinct spinal crest.Because of its long legs, short tail and tuft on the ears, the jungle cat resembles a small lynx. The face is relatively slender. Fur colour varies with subspecies, yellowish-grey to reddish-brown or tawny-grey, and is ticked with black. Vertical bars are visible on the fur of kittens, which disappear in adult cats, although a few dark markings may be retained on the limbs or tail. The muzzle is white, and the underside is paler in colour than the rest of the body.
❦ Kodkod | Guina Leopard Cat - The kodkod has a small head, large feet, and a thick tail. The coat has a base color ranging from brownish-yellow to grey-brown. The body is decorated with dark spots, with a pale underside and a ringed tail. The ears are black with a white spot, while the dark spots on the shoulders and neck almost merge to form a series of dotted streaks. Melanistic kodkods with spotted black coats are quite common.
❦ Lynx - Lynx have a short tail and characteristic tufts of black hair on the tips of their ears; large, padded paws for walking on snow; and long whiskers on the face. Under their neck, they have a ruff which has black bars, is not very visible, and resembles a bow tie. Body colour varies from medium brown to goldish to beige-white, and is occasionally marked with dark brown spots, especially on the limbs. All species of lynx have white fur on their chests, bellies and on the insides of their legs, fur which is an extension of the chest and belly fur. Also, the lynx's colouring, fur length and paw size vary by its climate range—in the Southwestern United States, its short-haired fur is dark and its paws are smaller and less padded. As the lynx ranges to colder northern climates, its fur gets progressively thicker (for warmth), the colour gets lighter (for camouflage), and its paws enlarge and become more padded (for snowy environments). Its paws may become larger than a human hand or foot. ❦ Marbled Cat - The marbled cat is similar in size to a domestic cat, with a more thickly furred tail (which may be longer than the body), showing adaptation to its arboreal lifestyle, where the tail is used as a counterbalance. The coat is thick and soft, and varies in background color from dark grey-brown through yellowish grey to red-brown. Spots on the forehead and crown merge into narrow longitudinal stripes on the neck, and irregular stripes on the back. The back and flanks are marked with dark, irregular dark-edged blotches. The legs and underparts are patterned with black dots, and the tail is marked with black spots proximally and rings distally. In addition to its long tail, the marbled cat can also be distinguished by its large feet. It also possesses unusually large canine teeth, resembling those of the big cats, although these appear to be the result of parallel evolution.
❦ Margay - The margay is very similar to the larger ocelot in appearance, although the head is a little shorter, the eyes larger, and the tail and legs longer. The fur is brown and marked with numerous rows of dark brown or black rosettes and longitudinal streaks. The undersides are paler, ranging from buff to white, and the tail has numerous dark bands and a black tip. The backs of the ears are black with circular white markings in the centre. Most notably the margay is a much more skillful climber than its relative, and it is sometimes called the tree ocelot because of this ability. Whereas the ocelot mostly pursues prey on the ground, the margay may spend its entire life in the trees, leaping after and chasing birds and monkeys through the treetops. And is one of the only species with the ankle flexibility for climbing down trees head-first.
❦ Ocelot - It has sleek, smooth fur, rounded ears and relatively large front paws. And is larger than both the oncilla and the margay. The coat pattern of ocelots can vary, being anything from cream to reddish-brown in color, or sometimes grayish, and marked with black rosettes. In many individuals, some of the spots, especially on the back, blend together to form irregular curved stripes or bands. The fur is short, and paler than the rest of the coat beneath. There are also single white spots, called ocelli, on the backs of the ears. Two black stripes line both sides of the face, and the long tail is banded by black.
❦ Oncilla | Little Spotted Cat - The oncilla resembles the margay and the ocelot. But it is smaller, with a slender build and narrower muzzle. The fur is thick and soft, ranging from light brown to dark ochre, with numerous dark rosettes across the back and flanks. The underside is pale with dark spots and the tail is ringed. The backs of the ears are black with bold ocelli. The rosettes are black or brown, open in the center, and irregularly shaped. The legs have medium-sized spots tapering to smaller spots near the paws. This coloration helps the oncilla blend in with the mottled sunlight of the tropical forest understory. The oncilla's jaw is shortened, with fewer teeth, but with well-developed carnassials and canines.
❦ Pallas’ Cat - The combination of its stocky posture and long, dense fur makes it appear stout and plush. Its fur is ochre with dark vertical bars on the torso and forelegs. The winter coat is greyer and less patterned than the summer coat. There are clear black rings on the tail and dark spots on the forehead. The cheeks are white with narrow black stripes running from the corners of the eyes. The chin and throat are also white, merging into the greyish, silky fur of the underparts. Concentric white and black rims around the eyes accentuate their rounded shape. The legs are proportionately shorter than those of other cats, the ears are set very low and wide apart, and it has unusually short claws. The face is shortened compared with other cats, giving it a flattened face. The pupils are circular. The shorter jaw has fewer teeth than is usual among cats, with the first pair of upper premolars missing, and canine teeth are large.
❦ Pampas Cat - The Pampas cat is a small, but heavy-set cat. There are significant geographical variations in its size; the body length ranges from 18 to 30 in and the relatively short tail is 9.1 to 11.4 in. Three main variants of its pelage occur, but all have two dark lines on each cheek. The first has flanks with large, reddish-brown, rosette-shaped spots with darker borders, numerous rings on the tail (of the same colour as the flank spots), and very dark brown (almost black) stripes on the legs and spots/stripes on the underparts. The second resembles the first, but the background colour is paler, and the body markings, stripes on the hind legs, and rings on the tail are paler and less distinct. The third is overall greyish with distinct dark brown stripes on the legs and spots on the underparts, a plain tail (no clear rings), and at most indistinct dark lines on the flanks.
❦ Rusty-spotted Cat - The rusty-spotted cat rivals the black-footed cat as the world's smallest wild cat. The short fur is grey over most of the body, with rusty spots over the back and flanks, while the underbelly is white with large dark spots. The darker colored tail is thick and about half the length of the body, and the spots are less distinct. There are six dark streaks on each side of the head, extending over the cheeks and forehead.
❦ Sand Cat - The sand cat is a small, stocky cat with short legs and a relatively long tail. The fur is of a pale sandy color, usually without spots or stripes. The lower and upper lips, chin, throat and belly are white. The ears are tawny brown at the base with a black tip. The lower part of the face is whitish, and a faint reddish line runs from the outer corner of each eye, angling down across the cheek. The large and greenish yellow eyes are surrounded by a white ring, and the ***** tip of the nose is black. There are blackish bars on the limbs, and the tail has a black tip with two or three dark rings alternating with buff bands. In northern regions, the sand cat's winter coat can be very long and thick, with hairs reaching up to 2 inches in length.
❦ Serval - It is a strong yet slender animal, with long legs and a fairly short tail. Due to its leg length, it is relatively one of the tallest cats. The head is small in relation to the body, and the tall, oval ears are set close together. The pattern of the fur is variable. Usually, the serval is boldly spotted black on tawny, with two or four stripes from the top of the head down the neck and back, transitioning into spots. The "servaline" form has much smaller, freckled spots, and was once thought to be a separate species. The backs of the ears are black with a distinctive white bar. In addition, melanistic servals are quite common in some parts of the range, giving a similar appearance to the "black panther" (melanistic leopard).
❦ Wildcat - The wildcat is similar in appearance to a striped tabby cat, but has relatively longer legs, a more robust build, and a greater cranial volume. The tail is long, and usually slightly exceeds one-half of the animal's body length. Its skull is more spherical in shape than that of the jungle and leopard cat. The ears are moderate in length, and broad at the base. The eyes are large, with vertical pupils, and yellowish-green irises. Its dentition is relatively smaller and weaker than the jungle cat's.

Rhiannon yawned as she stretched her lean body out, her ear laying flat on her head for a moment. She slowly got up and shook out her think fur, blinking her eyes once or twice. She had been asleep not mere moments ago and she needed to get up now and check on her clan mates. The female sighed as she padded up of the leaders den ans looked around the camp, smiling as she saw that things was in order. The female often wondered how a cat like her got into the leaders spot but it didn't matter much, she now was and she had to do everything to keep the clan safe, fed and happy. She licked the side of her left shoulder, a annoying clump of hair had been ruffled during sleep and she let out a small, happy purr as it finally fell flat. She wondered why her fur had to be so fussy, just a absent minded thought but a thought non the less. (I can not get subs to work on this post for some reason :/ )

akamori sat just beyond the ferns that covered the warrior's den, pale sunlight peeking through the hole in the dense fur. He peered beyond the ferns to see Rhiannon, it was barely sun up and she was already up. He padded out into the empty clearing, only a few early risers sat eating and cleaning their fur getting read for patrols. He smirked and started towards the leader, his paws light on the ground. Once he was a tail length away from her he dipped his head and mewed, "Goodmorning, are you hungry?" He asked with a grateful smile.

Rhiannon smiled at the tom and nodded. "That I am, would you care to share with me?" She asked him, the shecat who was normally in a bad mood all the time was in a pretty good one today, if it was any other day she would politely refuse and stalk off to eat her chosen pray in solitude but today she decided that company would be nice to have. A cat could say that the Liasclan leader was quite a reclusive one and they would be right, the shecat preferred her own company almost all the time. She looked at the few early risers around her, regarding them with a content look on her face, she normally awoke to only one or two cats up so to see a few more was a pleasant surprise.

He smiled, "I would." He turned towards the prey pile and looked over his shoulder offering for the leader to walk with him, he look at her with an expression that held a secrete. He looked back over his shoulder the sight of Rhiannon's royal blue eyes, his chest was hot with embarrassment when he realized he was staring. He shook his head and smiled walking towards the prey pile.
I might change it to were it's just regular cats. ]

(That's up to you, I'm fine with anything. c: )
Rhiannon followed after her clanmate, watching him with curiosity when he stared, the shecat didn't know why he had done so but wasn't worried about trivial matters like how long her clanmates stare at her eyes, at this moment she was worried about food. She saw the pray pile and was quite pleased with the selection. "What do you normally like? " she asked politely, after all she was sharing with him, might as well ask.

He smirked, looking at the prey pile and mostly saw fish and few voles, and maybe a couple of crows, Although Akamori has has to change his diet due to where he ended up, none of them were his favorite but a vole would have to do. "Well if hunting patrols are lucky they will catch a chinchilla, they're my favorite." he paused, "But they haven't found any yet, so a vole will do." He looked at her cheery but with a hint of nervousness. "But if you can choose, i'll be fine with whatever."

She nodded, agreeing with his choice. "A vole sounds perfectly fine to me." She mewed then spoke once more. "Though I do agree, a good chinchilla is excellent once in a while. I do have to think that my favorite pray is a crow though, the plump ones are the best." She told Akamori, hooking a pump vole from the pile with her claws. "This one look good to you?" She asked the tom, eyeing the vole for any off looking spots, she had bitten into a bad piece of prey before and ever since then she was determined not to do it again.
( I have had things turn out like that before, a clan I used to have was a great idea in my head and do then once a made it I just wasn't feeling it.)

He nodded, "They are quite rare, when i do find one i'll make sure to share it with you." There was a sweet and promising smile on his face, He study the vole it looked plump enough, the fur was dull so the hunting patrol had probably caught it yesterday, "Yup looks good to me." He looked around camp, which was in the woods behind the town where the lake was. He saw a rock with a bunch of moss and motioned with his head to the rock, he padded over to it and jumped up sitting down.
