Yes! Yes, please lets do this!  I was plotting it last night and came up with a bunch of ideas that I'm now trying to remember, whoops. But I think this will be really good for WFF. It's an awesome idea and it's new enough thought process that I can see it getting some original attention. So yes. Yes, I want to start on this. Did you want to plot on Discord, PM, here (in Curse, in a public draft, in a WIP DNP topic, whatever)? I'm very much down for anything.  |

Tbh, it feels a little weird to be so close to the end. I can't imagine how you must feel! Yes. Very. lol It feels like a giant accomplishment just over the horizon. And then freedom!! |

Whelp, I told you guys I had written a lot. So here is a teaser of CHAPTER 39: And they are freed One day ago… I am shaking, my body in shock from the amount of pain it is enduring. For as long as I have lived, the only other time I had ever felt more in such a way, was when Moonpaw had died due to my ignorance and inexperience.
Now I suffer due to my limitations and ineffectiveness.
“You understand why I must do this. You are a formidable warrior, and your power will disrupt my plans.”
I grit my teeth, raising my eyes to the dark blurry shape staring down at me. As my gaze shifts I feel thousands of tiny claws ripple across my skull and through the muscles of my neck and shoulders. I moan loudly, my vision now swimming with fresh tears to further darken the fur below my eyes.
“I am sorry for the pain you are experiencing. I know what it feels like.”
How? How is he feeling all of this, and not screaming?
It feels like…
“Death, is far kinder of a curse, than pain.” I feel a feather light touch skim across my spine, sending up millions of burning flares where it passes over my fur. “You are not dying, Darkmoon. But your former apprentice will be very soon.”
More tears fall. I then close my eyes and focus on that place deep inside, a place of strength and resolve. And acceptance.
Each breath I pull in feels like swallowing thorns, but I do it, and speak.
“You…will…burn…”
A weight seems to lift from my veins, and my vision becomes clearer for a few moments. A few moments where the wrathful expression on Lionshadow’s severe face comes into focus.
He digs the claws of his right paw into the top of my head, sending evergreen fire skittering over my face.
I scream loudly, the sound echoing around us. Blood drips over my nose, feeling more like a river of ice on my skin than a stream of tepid liquid.
“That was the first time you screamed, battle mistress. I think I’ve finally found how to make you burn.” |

YET, NOT DISAPPOINTED YET! lol I mean...I consider it to be a breather chapter? :'P Very slow, very peaceful! Cliffhangers are basically my signature at this point, either that or I pull the cliff out from under your feet and you free fall into a void! *cackles* Rushstorm was such a treat this chapter. I think everyone (including the characters) needed his uplifting, feel good aura. I greatly enjoyed writing him in these scenes. Thank you, Saph <3 EVER! I MEANT NOT DISAPPOINTED EVER x'D Rushstorm brought back so much nostalgia for the older chapters. And I completely agree, we all need something cheerful before whatever you have planned next. Which, judging by the sample, does not look particularly breather-y o.o (In other news, that pot luck idea sounds awesome!) |

Hey Moss!! It's good to see you!! <3 <3 I'm doing alright, having some issues with sleep these days and job hunting, but overall I'm ok! x'3 And thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. <3
LOL, I actually preferred YET because it's TRUE. I have the capability to disappoint!! :'P
Rushstorm is a giant bundle of nostalgia tbh.
What comes next will not be good for people who like breathing lol
