Sadly I also got an email from my Spanish teacher concerning the Syllabus. (Why post it on there, I do not know...) But now I'm mentally panicking because the Spanish book I have is a rental with no access code. (Unless it's still in the box, somewhere... I doubt it.) |

What frustrates me even more is that I could've gotten away with not getting a new Psychology book, since we're not using the access code. *Sighs.* First day back to classes and here I am, crying my eyes out in frustration and my mother's mad at me because she was sick of hearing about the book problems... (Now I have the access codes but I don't remember if I'm supposed to use the math one yet. And I intend to do Spanish later...) |

We just had a Category 4 hurricane make landfall on the Texas coast last night. There are mandatory evacuations being dished out in Austin (where my house, friends, and cat are). Good news is I am in Alpine which is far out west and away from the path of destruction that is coming/has begun. Just wanted to let everyone know that so far everyone is ok on this end. I don't remember if anyone else here lived in Texas/Louisiana. If you do, don't be brave/foolish. Get out and stay safe. This storm is planning on being around for a while and many major cities like New Orleans, Chorpus Christi, San Antonio, Houston, and Austin are/will be experiencing severe flooding. On a lighter side, here is a song I've been listening to for Chapter 33! :'D PVRIS - No Mercy

Family is good. Waiting to hear back on some friends & the woman who is taking care of our cat. My uncle told us his garage was being flooded, but that was several hours ago. Waiting on him to update us.

Thanks for the well wishes guys! <3 My parents are driving back into Austin. Just gonna wait and see if the roads aren't flooded enough so that they can make it. The heavy rain isn't coming in till about 2:30pm CT for them. I am in Alpine so I might get some rain but nothing serious. The mountains will protect me. <3
