So I'm probably going to have multiple character but only going to start with her for now because I'm tired lol
The world was a fascinating place, full of fascinating things. A first kiss under fireworks, stolen moments under cliche willow trees, wishes made under the stars. Except, all those things stayed within the normal bounds of things. The world worked in a certain way, and that didn't change. There were reports, in other places, that aliens were... a thing. Somehow. Some were good, some wanted to level the earth. That had come as a shock. See, Tessa knew how people felt about things because it was precisely her job. And people were not thrilled about aliens. The reporter had always wanted to meet an alien, but as far as she was aware, that had not occurred. Anyways, in Tessa's beloved city, things were still running normally. The girl had not been thrilled about her most recent piece- a cute fluff piece about a perfectly ordinary meteor storm last night -but was simultaneously glad. It gave her the opportunity to take it easy today, and to go annoy the heck out of her sibling.
This is so bad lol I'm tired so peace, I will be back tomorrow

(Same here. I'll just start with one for now and introduce another later.)
Valkoinen hadn't been to the city in a long time. She was something of a recluse, always hiding away where people couldn't bother her. She'd never particularly liked other people, even in her younger years she'd been distant and reserved. As she'd grown, her distaste had developed to something close to hostility. She held little trust for other people and years ago she'd bought a little house outside the city limits. She preferred it there. But the whole matter of the rumors, the strange truths, and now the prior night's meteor shower, she felt the need to do a little investigating of her own. Nose around, see what other people thought and develop her own opinions. She wouldn't put much value to other's opinions, but still she needed to see what was out there.

The small group slowly exited their car and assembled on the sidewalk to look up at the building across the street, with towering glass windows and weathered stonework around the doorways. The three young men looked incredibly serious, gripping duffel bags like life preservers as they steeled themselves for what came next. They could very well die today and each and every one of them knew it. It certainly was a sobering thought, even as the adrenaline began to kick in. The driver, however, seemed far less concerned. She hopped out of the car and strolled around to the trunk to pull out a long case. Swinging it nonchalantly, she strolled over to the others, lips curving in a gentle smile as she gave each one a touch on the shoulder or a friendly nudge with her hips. Then, without a word, she turned and made her way into the building behind them, leaving the boys to wait for her signal. She made her way quickly up the stairs, her little blue dress bouncing as she moved quickly up several flights. It was quick work for her to make her way into the room they had secured the knight before and she set up her rifle in a window facing their target across the street. Settling herself in, she cheerfully chirped, "Ready when you are, boys."

Ophelia was having a bit of a long day, and made a brief face of annoying as she snapped another photo. "Can you maybe move a little closer?" she directed to the couple in front of her, posing in front of a fountain in the city's rather large park. Much preferring to work on her own projects, she was having a tough time pushing through the pocket money jobs like these, and watching these fake-smiling people pose for her camera. Brushing loose strands of hair from her face, she leveled the camera again and took a few more shots before her phone buzzed in her pocket, a rather loud and crude sound she'd gotten from a funny youtube video. Said ringtone was set only for a select individual, signaling her digital presence with a grand memeful entry. Holding up a finger to the couple, she fished her phone from her pocket and answered it, pressing the device to her cheek as she toyed with the strap of her sleek black camera. "What's up? Did you break something? Did you get food? Did someone die?"
Teigue gripped the strap of his bag, smartphone in hand as he waited for the light to let him cross the loud, busy, crowded street. It was a bit of a usual day for him, and he didn't really mind the commute on foot very much, but boy were people loud. It was nice out though, which gave him a glimmer of hope for the turnout of the rest of the day. Although, by the looks of some rather peculiar people walking on his side of the street, holding duffel bags as if they were full of the Crown Jewels made him think that today might end up being a little strange, and all before lunchtime. Shit. If the city was going to explode he'd at least like to eat Taco Bell one more time. Although it wasn't as if things hadn't been strange for him for some time now, after that er...accident. He'd long since stopped trying to reason out the unexplainable, but that didn't keep him from being curious, and certainly did not keep his sticky fingers under control. What exactly were they up to? Brushing an annoying insect off the top of his hat, he turned and kept a discreet eye on the group, even as the light turned green to cross.

Tessa's brow furrowed when Ophelia picked up, glancing both ways down the street before hurrying across. Sheesh, it was like Ophelia thought she was always up to no good. She was over her shoplifting phase! She glanced down at her outfit. It was only mostly black. Tessa, in her personal opinion, was hardly a child anymore. That didn't stop her from, missing just a beat, to start hyperventilating into the phone. "Ophelia! Oh my god, you have to- you gotta came quick. I think I might..." A very convincing whimper followed, which combined with her equally as dramatic expression, earned her a few strange looks on the street. With a sympathetic "I promise I'm not crazy" look she waved towards the onlookers. Okay, maybe time to drop the act. "Haha, don't worry, I'm fine, Lia. Getting to play it easy at work, especially after that incident. I think my boss is actually worried I might get myself killed if she puts me on a real story. Anyways, where are you at? Want me to pick you up some food?"
Hermes was on a very important messenger mission. At least, that's what he had told some cop last night when he was pulled over for drunk driving. It wasn't his fault he didn't drive often! He was from the clouds, how was he supposed to know how this worked? Anyways, he had spent the night in a tiny jail cell. He wasn't sure what the proper name was for it, but the tiny, unimportant, overnight jail type things. Which he found he really did not like. So, he was very kind to the officers and promised he would be a model citizen from now on and he planned to make good on that promise. Not that Hermes was an actively destructive person. He just... didn't care about anything enough to not appear so. The man let out a sigh, lazing about in some busy cafe when he noticed some peculiar looking men crossing the street. He was pretty sure that was not normal activity. However, besides shifting to sit a bit straighter, he didn't do much about it. It was probably nothing after all.

The men made their way across the street, nearly getting hit by a bus as they neglected to look both ways. There was a brief huddle just in front of the bank as they began to gather their nerves after the near death experience. The woman watched this all through the scope with amusement, wishing she'd brought a snack. Then, moving as a unit, the men made their way into the building. Immediately, they split up, with one heading towards the back hall while the other two moved towards counter. With rather eerie synchronicity, they reached into their bags, each one pulling out a different color mask. The masks also matched the colors of their ties, a much debated additional touch as Green had thought it to be intimidating while Red said it made them look like the Wiggles. Ultimately Green won out and the color coded masks stuck. With Green and Red pulling on their masks to menace the front desk, Yellow .moved through the back hall towards the control room to shut down security. And Blue watched it all from a distance, murmuring directions to each of the men as they began to menace the patrons, pulling out rifles and forcing the staff away from their stations behind the counter to prevent anyone from tripping the silent alarm. Green looked over the cowering civilians and made their intentions clear, speaking in a rather soft, calm tone as Blue dictated what to say, "We're all going to relax, loves. No body is going to get hurt today as long as we get what we want."

Perhaps Ophelia should've been used to her sister's shenanigans by now, but there was a brief moment of panic hearing Tessa's voice, and she nearly dropped her camera in her surprise. "Tess, Tess what hap-...oh my god. You have to stop doing that, I'm gonna end up with a heart murmur or something," she sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose and ignoring the increasing complaints of the two she was supposed to be photographing. "Pshh, you would get yourself killed over a story about a lost kitten, let's not jest. I'm in Meadow Garden, bring Chiptole," she grinned, turning and giving the couple behind her a weird, very unconvincing wave of reassurance. "I just have to finish this one thing. You see anything interesting today? I want to go out later when the sun's setting, get some good shots."
There was no time for starting discreetly, Teigue decided, as he watched group split up and enter the building across the street. They were dressed fancy, so he didn't think too much at first of them going inside, but there was some weird color coordination thing going on, and he doubted the place was having a masquerade ball. Oh shit. This was a perfect opportunity for him to test out a little something. With a short turn of his head, and then not caring that the light had turned red, he secured his bag and dashed across the street, weaving between the cars with all the grace of a gazelle with broken legs (his Timberland boots were fitted for aesthetic, not practicality). Sliding over the hood of a taxi, he landed on the other side of the street rather unharmed, except for maybe one or two bruises. He approached the door, brushing himself off and adjusting the hat on his head. A trail of butterflies followed in his wake, perching themselves on any surface of his body as he pushed his way in through the glass door. "Hey who- whoah ho ho well would ya look at that! Seems I've walked in on something strange!" he gasped dramatically, bringing a hand up as if to shield his eyes and leaning forward slightly. "Could it be, you dapper gentlemen are criminals?"

Tessa giggled. Oh, that was never going to get old. "Look, if you aren't going to devote yourself entirely to something you love, why try to do that thing at all. I'm just passionate," She tutted. "Kay, you got it my main man. I gotta stop by the bank real quick, though. I'll be there soon, don't bite off your client's head, love youuuu~" The young woman shoved her phone back into her pocket, heading into the building. Thankfully, it was right on the way to Chipotle, so she wasn't having to go out of her way. She might have had to yell at Ophelia, if she did. Heading back towards the doors to leave, she instead found herself cowering with the others who were stuck in here now. Of course her teasing had to come back and bite her in the ass. Now, who was this? Her glare shifted from Green to some man covered in butterflies deciding it was smart to, unarmed, stand up against these goons with guns. This wasn't going to go well.
Hermes watched someone rush into the bank. He frowned, grip on his coffee tightening some. Was it smart to go over there? Hermes wasn't much of a fighter. He knew how, but he wasn't sure how useful he would be against human gunnery. A frown lingered on his lips, then he got to his feet and, tentatively, started towards the building. All the while, he mind warred against itself in an attempt to decide what to do.
