I miss Borya and Rei so much man))

Borya gingerly held them close, his eyes then closing. "I just wish that you and Alyona didn't have to go through what I was going through," his voice cracked slightly, inhaling slightly before giving a coughing splutter. He had to let go of them for a moment, lifting himself up and coughing up the red liquid before he let his face sink into the same liquid. His hair seemed to be dyed the same hue, and the once pretty silver blonde was now gone.

Alyona listened in the mean time, her eyes searching the wall- although she had one black eye. Her minty hur was wide, and she was panicking inside. She could tell Borya's emotions, and his being was slowly fading. The more she thought, the more she felt her radius expand to that 2 mile sensory. Their friends had to be close by.

Borya smiled weakly. "That we do," he confirmed quietly, soon petting their hair. His gaze was soft, soon turning his head slightly to look at Alyona. "When we get out Rei..." Borya's baritone voice rumbled out, and his eyes had parted open during them talking. "I want us to have the opportunity to move away and start fresh... to let Alyona be.."

Alyona shifted at the sound of her name, but she didnt do much else.

"It would be good... for us. We could visit..." Borya knew who his little sister hung around with. It would be better off for them to split up the final ways and to start as if they were never related... except for those two family reunions. It must be harsh, knowing that it was simply the two of them left. Why had Borya gone on that spree back in their homeland? Alyona would have someone to turn to if Steve's team couldn't be there for her anymore..

Grey watched the second Quinjet dock while he pulled on his bracers. He'd arrived a few minutes before them, but had been told to wait until they were down. He tapped the left screen, then ducked under the Zephyr as a refueling drogue spooled out. He flipped a switch, extending the Quinjet's aerial refueling probe, then slowly drew forwards until the two connected, and Jet-A began to flow into the Quinjet's tanks. Evidently, they were expecting the jet to fly off after he got off. It's going to be a little tricky getting all my stuff off, he thought. Probably should go into a hover.

(I DEMAND THAT THOU RETURN)

Cap:

Steve watched Daisy and Agent May disappear and then return when they'd arrived at the Zephyr. He glanced over at Bucky, who shrugged in return, and then they followed after the S.H.I.E.L.D agents towards the opening in the floor. He didn't know who the director of S.H.I.E.L.D was anymore. The last he'd heard of Fury was after S.H.I.E.L.D had been infiltrated and disbanded by HYDRA and he'd stood at Fury's grave with Fury himself. He had a feeling Fury was out there somewhere, but was he the director of the underground S.H.I.E.L.D? It sounded like Fury had wanted to take a break...

And then he heard Natasha ask the question, Fury isn't in charge anymore? And Daisy's answer, well, no. But they knew who was. Steve inclined his neck towards the staircase leading into the Zephyr, wondering who in the world was the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Daisy referred to him as 'A.C.' Why did that sound familiar?

Bucky:

Bucky followed Steve, his eyes narrowed with curiousity. Last time he'd been with S.H.I.E.L.D, he'd helped take it down. He was part of the reason S.H.I.E.L.D had moved underground and became a secret. He wasn't so sure that he was going to be welcome, being their demise and all, so he just hoped that this new director was someone who didn't hate his guts. If the others knew him, did that mean he did too? He crossed his arms, waiting for said director.

Logan:

Logan walked after the others, his feet a little wobbly on the floor. He hated flying and now he was going to be stuck on the Zephyr... in the air. He let out a breath, calming his anxiety, and allowed himself to glance around at his bearings. The quinjet was pretty impressive, but it was not the smoothest ride. He hoped that the Zephyr would be better. Judging from the spiral staircase leading to the Zephyr below, hopefully it was. Now... who was this director again?

Steve:

Maybe it was an overstatement, maybe it wasn't, but the gasp that escaped Steve's mouth could have been heard around the world. A.C. Agent Coulson. It made sense, yet... it didn't. Other than his one gasp of surprise, Steve was silent for a good 30 seconds, and then he wasn't sure whether or not he should be happy that is friend was alive, confused that his friend was alive, or angry that his friend was alive. And, let me repeat that again: his friend was alive. In a matter of those seconds, Steve's face had contorted into many expressions, but in the end it was a mix of confusion and betrayal. "I thought you were dead," he said, crossing his arms as he took a step towards the new director. "We all thought you were dead. You were stabbed in the heart with an asgardian septor."

Bucky:

Bucky looked from Coulson to Steve, from Steve to Coulson. He didn't know who this man was, but from the way that the man was looking at Steve, Bucky guessed Steve was an idol of his. The trading cards confirmed that, and Bucky had to stifle a laugh. It was just like old times, fans fawning all over his friend. No one ever wanted a Bucky signature, though, and he doubted anyone would want a Winter Soldier signature now. He let his gaze rest on the director, and muttered under his breath, "Well, I guess I wasn't the only one brought back from the dead."

Logan:

Logan was glad to find that the Zephyr looked more like a floating hotel lobby than an airplane or a jet. It made him surer on his feet, and he leaned back against the railing of the staircase to watch the conversation between the director and the others. He didn't know who anyone was, really. He was a man always on the run and he usually hung out with mutants instead of S.H.I.E.L.D. They had their own problems to deal with there. Yet, this was interesting. A man brought back from the dead? It couldn't get any better than that - oh, except for the fact that he was also standing next to two other men who had been brought back from the 'dead' and he himself was a literal walking corpse. Just another day in the office.

"Okay, it's kind of a long story, but I'd like to clear something up first. I was, in fact, dead. For days."
"I was running something called the T.A.H.I.T.I. Project. It was designed to bring a fallen Avenger back to life. Unfortunately, there were some really bad side affects. Namely, people went completely insane, and started carving alien symbols compulsively." Coulson continued speaking, telling Steve and the rest about the Kree experiments and how his mind had been wiped.
"So, the main reason you never found out I'd been brought back to life is because Fury was worried that I would go completely insane. He didn't want to risk that kind of thing happening, this was, ethically, pretty dubious, and by the time we were sure that I'd be fine, we'd kind of passed the grace period during which it wouldn't be awkward to let you know I was alive."
Coulson continued his story, telling the group about the Inhumans, losing his hand, and Hive. After ten of fifteen minutes of speaking, he stopped. "So, we've brought you up to about the present day. Now, I'm sure you have questions, but first I want to show you something. I based it off of your shield, but made a few tweaks." Coulson then powered up the shield on his hand and grinned like a kid on Christmas morning. "Cool, right? I mean, I can't throw it or anything, but still."

(in whatever universe we're designating this, S.H.I.E.L.D. never went back public, and what's happened so far is pretty much Season 3 plus a period of Daisy being a vigilante. Haven't decided whether or not Ghost Rider is involved.)
