Marvel rp: Post-Civil War ENDGAME SPOILERS

As Tony and Sam seemed to pick up their own conversations, she reached out and brushed Tony's should lightly for comfort, knowing how hard t had been for him since everything had happened. She smiled softly to him and nodded to Sam before turning her attention onto the twins and this Scott Lang. Placing a hand lightly onto Colmac's should she smiled lightly to him. "Colmac, it's fine. I'm actually quite flattered at your directness Mr Lang." She chimed as her eyes turned onto him now, keeping a hand lightly pressed on Colmac's shoulder to keep him in check for the time being. Then a laugh bubbled from her lips and she nodded. "And I understand the Ant-man comparison quite well, don't worry." She added with a light tip of her head to the man. JJ knew well enough how to handle these sorts of situations though still had a slight flush on her cheeks from the openness of Scott about her and Caireann's looks as well.

(SCP-049 and she'd just be munching on a mouse while waiting for him to finish his business. Caring a little about the people he's torturing and then criticizing him later "you know you could have at least let him keep one leg, or even his eyes." XD)

Marcos smiled lightly as the three of them talked easily together, sipping on his beer. Then he felt a soft chill and glanced over to where Alyona now stood with a tall man who seemed too well dressed and had a certain air about him. He quickly noted the stains to each of them but smiled and nodded to them, "Alyona, you've made a new friend?" He inquired lightly as he stretched his hand towards B. in greeting. "Marcos Del Olmo, what might I call you?" His brow arching lightly as he spoke and looked at B. curiously.

Caireann: im pretty sure you are

Oh geez i can see Johann coming in on the so called 'dates' on accident and hes just gripping the door handle and staring at them with wide eyes before he chuckles and says, 'have fun kids' and turns and closed the door and walks away

johann 1,000% approves of their dates

Colmac and Caireann

Colmac slowly begun to relax, muscles visibly loosening up and his eyes shifting to JJ. He slowly eased into a not so defensive position, raising a hand and gently patting JJ's in assurance before he sighed quietly. "Okay... As long as you approve lass," he told her quietly, though gently nudging his sister. "But i wont approve of lil' Caireann. S'e's not allowed to date.. Yet." He pressed importantly, though it was mostly directed to Scott while Caireann giggled to JJ's blushing.

Alyona

"Yes i did," she answered quietly, gently gesturing to B and standing a little bit to the side to give the men some space. "Though it wouldn't have happened had i not gotten water," she said mostly to herself and looked at B and then Marcos. Her lower lip rolled into her teeth, nervously chewing on it and blinking at the crowd and then back at the small group she was with.

Off to the side, Natasha sipped on her wine glass and kept her watchful gaze on the younger people. Standing beside her was an expertly disguised Blazkowicz, his eyes turning from the crowd and then to where she had been looking.

(Borya isn't even phased XD And JJ just stands there for a moment and then looks between all three of them before sighing and just accepting it)

Sam was torn between pity for his former friend and a hint of satisfaction that all of Cap's team had in fact made the right decision.  After all, they had predicted this; no matter how eagerly you signed, you were never completely in charge of your own actions under the Sokovia Accords.  And now it seemed that it was finally coming back to bite them all.  "I'm...sorry to hear that," he mumbled.  "Knowing you, though, I'm sure you'll bounce back to the top of the stock markets by the end of the month."  Suddenly remembering something that had been bothering him for a long time, he carefully ventured, "So I hear that Rhodes is back to his old self.  How...is he?"

Let the awkwardness begin.

Scott was about to childishly stick his tongue out at Colmac when he heard his remark.  Taking on an air of injury he huffed, "The nerve!  Suggesting such a thing insults me, Mr....Colmac, was it?  I implied no such thing." Turning to JJ he asked eagerly, "So you're a doctor?  I worked for a certain Hank Pym for a time...you might know him.  Anyway, what is your specific area of interest?  Arc reactors?" This last part was accompanied by a swift glance at Stark.

JJ smiled to the twins and laughed lightly once more, shaking her head in response to Scott. "I did know Hank Pym, a great man really." She chimed happily before tilting her head lightly and catching Tony's glance as Scott dared to mention the arc reactors. Then she actually rolled her eyes. "Like they said. I don't deal with mechanics and engineering, I prefer the more natural world." Sipping her wine a moment she nodded once more. "My specialty is in toxicology but my favorite work is in venomous breeds, most pointed snakes. I worked in South Africa dealing with different snakes there and learning the more subtle properties of venom. Neurotoxins, cytotoxins, hemolitics, hallucinogens, and alkalidic steroids." Another moment to sip her wine before starting up once more. "But, now my research lies more in the biological toxicology and virology fields. Simple research and application on a small scale of sorts." She tipped her glass to him and acted as if nothing she said was that interesting, actually giving a slightly disinterested shrug. Truly, the young doctor under played her intelligence and accomplishments rather greatly.

Cap:

Everyone had already been sent off to the party, but Steve, Buck, and Logan had been caught up a bit. It wasn't all that intentional, but the more that he thought about it, arriving casually late would give them more of an advantage of not being caught, seeing as the team would be more spread out. But regardless, Steve had to admit that he was nervous about the party. Aside from the fact that he wasn't a fan of parties, he knew there was a chance that Tony and the Skull would be here. Tony he wasn't that worried about. He'd made his amends, even if it was a little off-putting. But Skull? That was another story. And Steve knew that Skull would recognize him - knew that anyone at the party could recognize anyone of them. This could be a trap, for all he knew. But, he had to play the part. This was still his fight.

Letting out a breath, Steve straightened his navy blue suit and looked from the closed doors of the ballroom to Logan and Bucky, who were standing on either sides of him. "Remember the plan," Steve muttered to both of them. "And try not to drag any attention to yourselves." With that, he pushed open the doors and stepped into the ballroom.

Bucky:

It had been a while since he'd been dressed up nice like this. The last time he really remembered dressing up was back in the 1940s, which was practically a lifetime ago. If he'd ever gone under cover in a suit and tie, he couldn't remember. But it didn't seem to fit him like it used to. Suit seemed a little tight and he felt out of place wearing something so civilized, looking so groomed. But it was all part of the act, and he wasn't half bad at that- acting. Holding his arms behind his back, he followed Steve into the room and grinned uneasily. "A little late for that," he said, hint of nervousness, "Three of the most recognizable men walking into a full ballroom? Our only hope is that everyone is preoccupied." And he really hoped it. He didn't want to be the center of attention and would have rathered be in a corner somewhere, watching from afar.

Logan:

Logan had put on a suit like he'd been told, but he'd done this undercover thing so many times and lived through so many of these types of gatherings that it didn't really phase him like it could have. Another hundred years and he'd still be alive and all these people who saw him would be dead. His dressing up - his appearance, really - wouldn't even matter, aside from the fact that if Skull was actually here he'd probably be saving all these people's lives. Sighing, he adjusted the dark red glasses that he'd grabbed last minute and stared into the crowd of people to search for their team. He figured they were supposed to 'blend in' a bit before sniffing out the Skull, but he was going to be on the lookout all the while. "There's a few of ours," he said gruffly, pointing across the room. "I'm heading over."

(Can't wait for Bucky to find out that Borya's alive xD xD Or see Tony xD Or even Skull. All of his enemies in one room, haha.)

Another wave of guilt.  Sam knew it hadn't been any of their faults, per se.  Even though it had been the Vision who had landed that nearly lethal blow...still, he felt partially responsible, in a way.  He was about to offer some sort of awkward condolence or encouragement or something of that sort when the other continued.  He glanced around furtively then quietly muttered, "We're not only here for the party, that's for sure.  And I think it's a pretty big coincidence that our new president just so happens to share the name of HYDRA's most formidable leader."  He shot a warning glare at Scott before turning back to Tony.  "So what's your plan?  We can't exactly meet him in private for some questioning."

Scott gleefully ignored both Sam and Tony and addressed Caireann amiably.  "Not at all actually.  I was just thought that you were with Stark...but it doesn't matter.  Hey, I'm all for biochemistry!  That's what Pym's all about...although he's more into atomic stuff...I think?"  He turned toward JJ, trying to absorb everything she was casually spewing out like her favorite book genres.  "So...basically you're into snake venom." He thought about this for a moment, all attempts at flirting forgotten as the more scientific part of him became more involved.  "Yeah, there's tons of practical applications for that kind of thing.  I dabbled in it a little and found it...useful, for sure.  Of course, I was looking more into venomous insects, but that's no surprise."
