Yes, but maybe a base personality with her looks is a good idea. That way its something that you start out with and the character isnt contradictory all the time. Conflicting emotions is alright, but if the base personality arent set then itll be easy to make her kind one moment and then really rude the next.
I understand that youre testing a new character full well. I just would like for an established like, good person, neutral, bad and possibly like what causes her to be that way. Of course as you begin typing with this character ideas will flow as you rp i totes get that. But just a base outline would be nice

(Next year, haha xD It was our last race xD But there are other races I can run! Usually I find that I get my best times as the season progresses, anyways (: Last year I got a pr by a whole minute on a race at the end of the year xD And then, of course, I didn't train over the summer and lost it all xD I really need to train over the summer, haha)

haha I should too xD at least land never really changes. For swim it changes from Short course to long. you have an advantage!

(Ikr? XD it's so sad though when you're like "look how fast I was" xD
I suppose, except sometimes it's grass or pavement or stone or sand or mud and it could be flat or hilly and the weather always plays a role xD And the distance changes as well, haha xD
Swim sounds fun, though! I like swimming, just never done it competitively xD)

For the silence that took over, Alyona could only turn to stare at her brother. He had removed his gaze from Bucky, tired evergreen eyes rolling to stare back into familiar minty ones. They locked gazes, the soft rolling of thunder echoing in the sky and rain kissing the skin of those that were there. The Aliyev children were quiet, as if asking the other to begin their spiel. It was then Borya had begun.
"Why? Why didn't you give up?" He asked through gritted teeth and swallowed a bubble of iron liquid; however some escaped and slid out at the corners of his thin lips. Alyona didnt know what to say. Her hands simply curled into a fist, fingernails nipping her palms. She could only listen, watching his eyes fill with different emotions. "Why didn't you give up back when SHIELD fell? Why did you continue to smile through the new markings that i put on you every day? I-" tears swelled up as he hushed.
To Alyona, he looked like a frightened 6 year old, her eyes blinking back hot tears. "Because deep down i knew you were scared. You felt alone and the way you handled it was doing what you did, but one thing I can't even think about was what you said about mother and father," she swallowed thickly then. "They spoke highly about their firstborn; they loved you so much and they trusted you to care for me like they did with you," she took in a shaky inhale.
"Well if thats the driving force then why didn't you confront me about it before now?" He snapped back harshly.
"Because what i looked forward to seeing after i helped you was your smile! I believed you could've changed but..." She didnt know what was running down her face anymore- tears or the rain... But all she knew was she was staring at wide evergreen hues. "That's all i ever wanted. Even when i had Logan's silver claws at my throat- that i could prove you weren't what you were becoming."
Borya stared at the tiny blonde, Alyona looking more like a scared child standing before a beast. His smile... That was all she wanted. To be reassured that her brother- the one who promised to protect her before they left for America, and when he found her okay at the bottom of that snow hill when she was a toddler- wasn't the monster he had become. His whole being shattered, and he felt vulnerable. "Then..." He swallowed nervously, lips trembling in a smile as his eyes crinkled with his most genuine smile,
"I'll smile... I'm sorry Alyona- I'm sorry im not the one you needed."

Aw thanks!! Trust me yours wont look bad. I thought mine was kinda lame xD thats only a quarter of what i would have wanted for their conversation, but i knew that one would be more of a sit down and drink coffee convo- so i settled for the one above.

Mind if I join? Screen name: Raintalonhisss Character name: Melody Autumn Susanne Pyres. (Goes by Melody.) Character description: Melody is a 19-year-old theatre major in New York. Also takes ballet and voice lessons. She has wavy brown hair cut just below her shoulders and amber-brown eyes. She is about 5'9. Prefer not to reveal powers just yet. I was asked to add some personality, so here it is: (Sorry it took so long!) Melody is the kind of person who always feels like she's forgotten to bring/do something. Always. She's also the kind of person who watches Netflix original shows and doesn't like to admit it, follows authors religiously, (Terry Pratchett,[RIP] Rick Riordan, Tui Sutherland, etc.) quotes things and gets mildly upset when no one knows what she's talking about, and stutters when she's nervous. She has two older brothers and one younger sister, and a dalmatian she was just barely allowed to keep in her apartment. His name's Charles Anthony the Slightly Insane, AKA Charlie. Melody still puts sugar in her coffee even though she's been drinking coffee for five years. |
