Shouldering off her coat, Zen draped the item of clothing over a chair and slipped her phone into one of the pockets. It was nighttime, and casual wear would look less suspicious at a time like this. "We'll be right back. There must be one of the dainty lil' kiosks in the reception area..." Hand going up to her neck, she traced a seemingly mismatched set of tattoos etched into her skin. While the stars and unknown symbols were evident, her palm masked the presence of others. "Either that, or I saw a shop round the corner; hopefully it's open around the clock." Zenmaka kept her head down as she delicately picked her way out of the room, eyes darting to her phone one last time before she followed Alyona out of the door. In contrast to the exhausted atmosphere of the room, the hallways of the hotel were eerily quiet; however, one wouldn't expect such a ruckus at this time of the night anyway. Making sure the door closed quietly with a small 'click', Zen finally looked up; shoulders rolling.
"So..." The word was slightly higher than a murmur, but laced with awkward neutrality. "What ice cream do you think they- um- have around here?" Real smooth, 'Maka, real smooth.

Its okay hun- you replied when you could! I actually should apologize- I've had such a busy week last week; I've been droppin time and improving in my swimming like crazy
Borya is just gonna be cruel and let it chew in their minds that he maybe found them. Or it was someone else until the last moment that he has the upper hand. ;3

Natasha gripped Amber, glaring at her with a look that held pure fear. If there was anyone to fear, it was him. Just from hearing those stories Alyona spoke to her, she suddenly realized this was more than just a man.... It was a monster. She blinked away at any threatening tears that bothered themselves to glass her eyes, and turned, making her way to the room. There was no time to talk, but simply make their own way to their once safe place. She didn't take the same route as Alyona and Zen, knowing full well there was a possibility that Borya could have someone follow them. Simply making her way, she walked forward, and entered the room once they reached it. Dropping the food to the side, she turned to the two men. Natasha had come in at Bucky's, "I think she really likes mint and chocolate." The smile on his face made the red head feel sick on the inside. If only he knew as to why she really loved the flavor.
She felt all the inside emotions that were pent up floor out as she sat down on the floor with a soft plump and pressed her face into her hands. Being raised in the red room meant you were taught to keep everything in- to not burden your partners or even take your mission to a complete failure by expressing emotion. Jaw taut, she sat like that for a long while before raising her brown hues to the men. Her nose was tinging red and the big and dark orbs were glassed over, though the tears were held back so much she saw the room as a blur. "I think Borya found us." she stated out, swallowing back the lump in her throat that caused her voice to crack and grow hoarse.

Alyona turned to Zen, unaware of Natasha and Amber already making it to the room as they traveled across the lobby. "Well... Hopefully mint and chocolate chip. As well, maybe some chocolate? Vanilla too... I don't want to get just one single flavor. I'm very well aware not everyone has the same taste or like the same desert," she offered the goddess with the kindest smile she could. Coming to a pause, she entered into the little hallway that expanded into a large corridor that led to a bar area and several restaurants that branched to the side. Her converse clad feet gently clacked on the marble flooring, and her big minty eyes turned every which way. She had her hands stuffed into her pockets, grinning slightly to her companion and soon coming to a stop in the middle of the way. The shops were definitely open, as to serve customers that were coming back late from viewing the capital.
However, someone who just had to join them couldn't resist himself as he watched Alyona move slowly to the left and disappear. She opened up freezers, laughing lightly when she saw a puff of air escape her lips and looked to Zen like there wasn't anything wrong with them- the fact that they were complete strangers and had only met a couple hours before. But the smile turned upside down, her eyes slowly turning to the mint chocolate chip tub she had stacked over the other two bland flavors. Her eyes saddened, gripping the items closer as she turned from the woman and to the cashier.
Alyona didn't like the feelings she was getting- the thing that was overpowering over the others she could easily sense from Zen and the strangers. She set the items down, sad... and yet finally feeling completely worthless all over again. "Hey.. Uh.. Zen, you and the others can eat these.. I don't deserve it. I didn't do anything.. I just.. I was a burden." she mumbled as she didn't dare to look at anyone in the eye. Her fingers gripped the sweater, her heart racing violently. Borya never released his grips, no matter how far he was. She knew that... So why did she bother to think these people would even see her as equal... that she was worth their time? She was expendable... She always was.

Congratz! Improving is always a great feeling and accomplishment! I had my first race Saturday, but I'm so out of shape, so I didn't do well xD But a few more races and I'll be back in the game (:

Eyes alert, ears open. "Variety is always a good thing, I guess." The goddess watched the crowds filtering in the lobby area with a slightly raised eyebrow; moving to the side whenever there was a tight squeeze between guests. If she didn't need to offer a mutter of sorry, then she didn't, but her palms quietly opened and closed at the occasional touch. By the time they got to the larger corridor, Zen was seemingly in brighter spirits; secretly playing with a watch in her pocket. Of course, she wasn't planning in returning it until she got bored, but unfortunately she had little idea of just how short their stay would be.
Sliding into the shop, Zen quietly let her gaze trail over the plethora of items, leaning forward at regular intervals to read whatever was inscribed. It was akin to a childlike curiosity, but she would never agree to that. Besides, she just liked to look at things. By the time she joined Alyona at the freezer, face getting blasted with the cool air, she smiled at the different types if ice cream. Cookie dough? I'm sure Sal would have loved that. I can see her drowning it in chocolate while Azure chastises her and Maur just- The nostalgic thread snapped off her train of thought when she saw that she had been left where she stood, striding over to the cashier as if she had been there the whole time. About to ask if she should quickly add some toppings or something extra (her treat, of course; she was feeling happy), Zen was thoroughly confused to hear Alyona say the things she did. A burden? No one is ever a burden. She looked around, frowning slightly at any passerby who happened to be looking, before she turned back to the woman. Something in her, call it skillful paranoia if you will, thought they were being watched, but she didn't pick up anything too odd.
"Wait wait wait hey..." Leaning forward, she started off calmly. "Hey. Deep breaths, and exhale slow o' ye of little faith. You're not a burden, and you will never be one. I'm pretty sure everyone back in the room will say that too." She offered quietly, the murmur swelling with warmth. In contrast to her usual demeanor, Zen decided to use a softer approach. Internally, Zen was trying to fathom what could make anyone feel like that, before she dismissed the question with a straight answer. Just look at your own pantheon, idiot...You were always the black sheep. "I may not know you that well, but I've honestly met few people who are as genuine. It's okay to feel sad, because it stimulates growth...but you are amazing."

i wont be able to watch the episodes until the morning after but hhHHH
also today my teacher was complaining about how expensive concert t-shirts were and i just internally cried and muttered something about dalton and she hEARd me and knew who he was and i just died

Even as Natasha didn't exactly tell Amber what was happening as she dragged Amber along, she got the vibe. I guess, common sense could've told her it was serious, but why use common sense? That's too simple. Everything was too simple. So the whole way basically running to their hotel room, she kept looking around, pretending to be distracted. But she was using her semi-enhanced senses to see if anyone was following them, and she didn't think anyone was, but she also didn't know who to be looking for.
When Natasha sat down, she huddled down almost under the table like she was before she left, stealing glances around the room as she plucked her phone out of the pocket and set it back on the floor. She dug through the few bags Natasha had given her before they'd ran back here, untangling the sleeves of a comfortable looking shirt before tossing the bags towards the center of the room. And then she heard what Natasha said, and finally got it.
Crazy Russian dude who's out to get us, I saw him like once so oops I probably should've been more helpful. Wait- Alyona's brother- oh, that guy. Yeah, definitely someone I should be afra- actually, probably terrified of but I'm gonna sit here and look cool until someone else responds.

aA AOS WAS S O GOOD thoughts mini rant below hh ghost rider was a great choice for the villain
also my s3 knowledge is fuzzy but did they ever confirm that the guy that showed daisy her vision is dead? because if not, i'm like 99% sure he'll come back because that little girl she was helping in the 6 months later was his daughter i'm assuming
everything fitzsimmons excites me. holding hands? SCREAM

It was, wasn't it? I need to figure out how to do this spoiler feature xD let's see if this works, lol I thought that it was a good way to bring in Ghost Rider as well. He was Definately a good villian and it was a great way to open the show.
It was a bit sad, though, just realizing that Ward and Lincoln are gone and the team is a bit split. And Simmons having a higher level than May was so weird xD
The guy that showed the vision did die, but it was his daughter that Daisy helped in the last episode.
Radcliffe def looks like he could be Fitz's dad xD I was annoyed though how they never said who the director actually was. But is it Talbot? Everything's so strict now that Coulson's not director and they've got the Sokovia Accords. |

It is not good that Ghost Rider is 'villian' at all. A) Ghost Rider was never a villian in the first place  Ghost Rider has a special ability where he can pick anyone up and force them to look into his eyes, and he'll say that they hurt the innocent or whatevs, and they will turn into jello. With the constant replay of their sins. C) he literally destroyed Black Heart, turned against the devil, made the curse his power, and literally destroyed Legion. D) HES NOT A VILLIAN DAFAQ Anyways. That is my rant EdiT: THIS IS NOT OKAY AT ALL THEY RUINED IT THE WHOLE WAY. THEY NO THAT IS NOT GHOST RIDER THAT IS GHOST DRIVERI HATE AGENTS OF SHIELD NOW NO NO NOOOOO |

(Tals; I don't think it's the real Ghost Rider, haha. He's just an inhuman, as far as I know. But I could be wrong. And I'm pretty excited because even though he's technically the villain at the moment, it shows that he's not a bad person or anything. It's all just how you perceive it. You'd have to watch it. When he's close up and you actually see him, he's not a villain, just a innocent person who was taken over. They did a really good job introducing him, though, I think. You should really watch it. //begs//)

"Ooh, the moon, you say? Fun. Like the time Iron Man fell from a worm hole in space, I'm guessing." She'd remarked as she followed after him, quirking her brows in a more or less skeptical manner. Mhmm. Sure. He'd be entirely fine, long as he didn't lean opposite her and throw them into a wall with his much larger size outweighing that of hers- weapons included. Rather than complain, she merely locked up behind her and shrugged her shoulders, giving her keys an experimental twirl. "Guess you'll just have to find out, won't you?" She prompted of him, picking her way outside to the waiting motorcycle. Helmet thrown on, offering him a spare, she'd peeled out perhaps five minutes after she'd begun getting ready, not at all about to let him drive when it was in fact her bike.
She navigated the streets with practiced ease, slowing only a few notches for sharp turns and weaving between any cars to block her path. She'd have been patient like a good American Citizen but... na. She was looking for a particular somebody, of which she'd never ever confess to knowing. Ironically enough she met him as an accident, but... That was another story for another day. For now, she only listened to the howl of the wind through her helmet, occasionally reaching to her hip and patting the much larger man's leg to assure herself whether or not he was okay.
She only came to take it easy once the cement jungle around her gave way to more open area, trees dotting her path here and there and houses more common than apartment complexes. She was getting out of the thick of the city, following the coordinates she had set in her crazy obsessive memory. And then, after so long of driving her gloved fingers began to numb, she was here- Queensbridge. A maze of apartments, clustered together like prison walls. She turned within the parking lot and parked, peeling off her helmet and making a face at the rank air. "Oh, God, how does he even stay here?" She muttered to herself, checking her bag and swinging her leg over the motorcycle to let herself off.

Hola; Haha as much as I want to, I feel as if they ruined him completely. I mean, it doesn't help with the fact I grew up with Nicholas Cage as Ghost Rider- but to hear they added ghost rider instead of waiting for the big movie with Norman Reedus promised makes it feel like its a huge let down. As well, Agents of Shield was fun for awhile, but it got repetitive for me and I lost interest... :\ sorry hun
But yes, Ghost Rider is one of my favorites; He's one of the first of the MARVEL characters that was ever introduced to me, and I absolutely loved how it was done. I remember seeing it in theatres back in '06 and getting the PS2 game for it. c; haha I remember the cashier giving me a weird look as dad bought it for me cause it was Rated M due to violence/action

(Nah, it's fine xD You don't have to watch it, lol. I just like promoting it, haha. My favorite season was Definately season 1 And yeah. I don't remember much about Ghost Rider, but I know him as Nicolas Cage as well. I'm sure that if they make a Ghost Rider movie, though, it won't have to do with AOS. That's awesome! I honestly have to admit that I don't remember a lot about the movie, and I don't know much about the character, other than what I've just seen. I watched Ghost Rider with my dad a long time ago, and he might have been one of the first marvel characters I was introduced to (besides Spidey and X-Men) but at the time I didn't know what marvel was, so it was just a movie to me. Now that I know what marvel is and such, I feel like I should watch Ghost Rider again. I'm sorry I haven't replied to the rps! I've been busy and I'm so tired right now.) |

(Yeah, the movie was so much earlier than Agents of Shield xD I find that in the non-mcu marvel movies shield isn't really mentioned, haha.
