Riv watched the VMAs just to see Rihanna FINALLY win her own Vanguard award omg it's taken 11 years and I had a moment when they said she'd get it this year.

Bucky:

Bucky noticed the look that Natasha had given him, and he suddenly realized he was probably over tired. He silently laughed at himself, feeling slightly insane, and then let out a sigh and fell back onto the bed like he had wanted to when they'd first showed up at the hotel. He stared up at the ceiling for a good minute or two and listened to the hum of everyone talking, and then he closed his eyes.

"I'm good with that," he agreed, although he admitted that he hated being told what to do. "No paparazzi is fine with me. What do you say, Steve?" He peeked open an eye and tried to look over at Steve from where he lay, but he only managed to make out a sweatshirt sleeve. Shrugging, he closed his eyes again and felt himself melt into the mattress. Wouldn't it be nice, he thought, to sleep again, and forget everything that had happened? Or to sleep again and know that everyone was safe in the world because he wasn't in it? 

Why had they brought him out of cryo? He was perfectly fine as an icicle. And the world had been fine without him. And now it wasn't. Now, regardless if it had anything to do with him, there was a crazy dimension-hopping ww2 soldier somewhere in NY, and there was a Russian man out to destroy them, and specifically control his mind. If he had just stayed in cryo, at least he could have prevented part of the latter. At least they'd still be in Wakanda, and he'd still be under, where, even if he was out cold, he could be trusted. 

What made them trust him now?

Steve:

Steve looked down at Bucky, watching his friend flop down on the bed, and then felt the movement of the mattress as the weight was shifted. He brushed his hands through his hair and then leaned his elbows once more on his thighs, staring out at the room. "That's fine," he told Natasha. "Just be careful... I know you've done undercover more than any of us, but... just be careful." He smiled lightly at her, and silently wondered how she was still moving with so much grace despite how late it was and how their day had gone. Perhaps he should have been acting similar - in fact, physically, he felt fine. But mentally and emotionally, he was done for. He cautioned a glanced back at Bucky at hearing his name and rolled his eyes. "Paparazzi," he muttered, shaking his head. Both he and Buck had dealt with paparazzi enough in their day. 

He watched Amber and Natasha leave to get the food, though, and he was glad that at least they'd have something to eat. That would keep his mind awake. Food. Maybe Natasha had ordered one of the things on his list that he'd promised to try. There were still so many things that had changed when he came back. It still left him a bit at awe when he walked around the streets and saw even the little differences of the two times. It was enough to drive a person insane at first. Luckily, he hadn't gone insane. Although, as hunger drove through his stomach and his mind began to fill with images of the day, he wondered if he was heading there. He shook his head, and closed his eyes for a moment, sighing.

When he opened his eyes only seconds later, he noticed Alyona staring over at him. He smiled at her, his eyes softening, but there was a sort of sadness there. And he thought he understood, when she looked away, what she wanted to say. Home. They all just wanted to go home and go back to everything that had been normal. But... normal didn't really exist for them anymore. Normal was taken away from them the moment they joined the Avengers or allied themselves with SHIELD. And home, well, Steve didn't have a home, really. Not anymore... His home, now, was anywhere that his friends were. And, although stuck in a hotel - a very nice hotel at that - he was with the people that he cared about, so that was enough for him. I am home. 

No. We are home.

The female remembered hearing Natasha saying, "Youre such a worry wart Cap. Ill be fine, if anything happens i have Amber to help." Of course, the red head had flashed her friend a playful wink over her shoulder before she went on to grab the food. Getting up, the blonde nearly crawled her way over to Cap and gently plopped beside him.

Her eyes were staring blankly up at the ceiling, hood covering her face and baggy for her tiny frame. "When this all passes... Im gonna take a long nap," she declared with a soft yawn. The bed was comfortable, and in all honesty she was ready to fall asleep, aside from the fact that her nightmares never let her get a full night's rest.

"And eat several tubs of ice cream," she laughed then, giving a smile at a memory that she was sure some could relate to. Ah- the memories of Logan speaking about that tub of ice cream. She had to tell it sometime hopefully

Food and other things coming soon? Just chill? That she could do. Unfolding her arms, the goddess plopped into the floor around her little, claimed corner; proceeding to rummage through one of her coat pockets. Taking out a phone, just a generic brand, Zen quietly switched screens and opened an app.
Whilst some might have assumed it was a game or some news app, it was something entirely different. It was a tracker of sorts; a tracker for heists, specifically. 'What has the world been up to?' Her face, lighting up with the flow of the screen and pure comfort, she continued tapping locations on a digital map to see what exactly had been stolen. "Meh." Voice in a whisper, she leaned back into the corner and indulged herself; silently judging each steal.

(My family and I were going to the zoo today, and we were leaving early, so I decided to get up early XD I'll be up early tomorrow, too, but I'll probably be busy running around so idk if I'll get on D; I'll probably be poofy from here on out b/c of school. But I'll try my best to get on! )

(It's okay. I'm going to be the same way, sadly. But hopefully there will still be points when we can all reply )

"Oh, we're leaving now? O-kay." Amber smiled and waved as she was dragged away by Natasha. New clothes? That sounded nice. She liked clothes. But not in the annoying way, since she couldn't stand shopping for over half an hour, which was probably about to happen so oh well. "Also for future reference, not sure if you realized that I don't actually have to be in a group, I could shift into a totally non-suspicious pidgeon or something and follow whoever, buuutt I wouldn't be able to talk, which some people might see as a win-win." Maaaybe it was an excuse to do something, but she couldn't be a wolf because common sense- hah, didn't know she had that- but it was better then nothing.

Cap:

Steve looked over at Alyona, seeing as she had sat down next to him. He was now in a Bucky and Alyona sandwich. "You can sleep soon enough," he said, giving her a smile. "All this might not pass for a while, but at least we've got a safe hotel for now. We certainly deserve the rest. No one can get us here..." He hoped that was true, and he decided in the silence that it would have to be. They were protected by SHIELD. He let out a small laugh. "Icecream, eh?"

Bucky:

Bucky, from the other side of Steve, raised his hand. "I like icecream," he said, shrugging.
