(You could have her try to knock on the door only to find that it pushes open b/c no security XD Or I could just have steve see the car from the living room window and go down to meet them and conveniently meet Cap marvel and Nat on the way XD) (Truthfully, Eveline ain't that much for action. So Steve noticing them would probably be the more entertaining route. XP )

There was a sort of peace in listening to Steve. In fact, Alyona felt that rush of determination in her veins like she had when she first felt comforted by him from Borya. Her brows furrowed, her once quivering lips twitched as she forced herself to give a brave look. She swallowed thickly- having only briefly paused to swipe away a tear that had escaped to sit on his cheek. It left a dirtied smudge across his once clean skin, her hand immediately retracting and looking over the mess she had become. Looking at Steve once again, she gave a nod. "We can't let others lose hope," she breathed gently.
Her senses pricked, eyes now widening as she froze in the midst of their comrade-ry. Viktor was rising to his feet, though he didn't dare move a step forward. He knew Alyona could detect the other unfamiliar presence there. It was from a different world, thats for sure. It was what caught Alyona's attention with Thanos. Though, there was a different energy contained than what he had emitted. So, Alyona smeared her own dirtied and bloodied hands across her tear stricken face and gave a shaky inhale. Her lower lip caught between her teeth for a second, her eyes now turned to the door.
"Then I hope thats a friendly visitor- I'm not ready for anyone else," Alyona's small voice was that voicing of Viktor's inner stress. He wasn't ready to lose anyone else this day either. He couldn't blame her softer self- her weaker shell that was now resurfacing. Viktor was slowly walking forward and taking a stance between the door and the duo that was once before him. His gaze was dark, his nails elongating and he was careful to step out in the hallway and took a whiff of the air.

Captain Marvel:Carol pulled her pager off her belt and took one last look at it. The source of the call was somewhere inside the main building, and after she noted its location, she slipped the pager back onto its place, steered herself forward from over the river, and slowly let her photon blasts keeping her in the air dwindle to nothing. She touched down onto the road in front of the building and didn't even wait for an invitation to come in. She simply strode through the glass doors and into the building, her steps long with urgency and purpose. One would think they would keep the doors locked, but Carol supposed most of their security was in the fence and gate surrounding the entire facility. The one which she'd easily flown over. She could understand why, at a time like this, security breaches were the last things on their mind, but still. She'd gotten in very easily. Soon, after turning many corners, heading down various hallways, passing through a few rooms, she found the exact place she was looking for. The room in which her pager had been contacted. And, sure enough, Fury's matching pager was there, attached to a small machine but no longer on. However, Fury was nowhere in sight. Captain Marvel:Carol stepped further into the room and stopped in front of the glass container the pager was in to study it closer. The pager had stopped sending out its signal because she had arrived at the facility to help. That part was clear. What she didn't know was why the little, hand-sized device was being treated like some sort of radioactive object in this big container and robotic arm holding it up. It was just a pager. A galaxy-spanning, long-distance pager, but still a pager. Something Fury had probably kept in his back pocket all these years. This clearly wasn't the work of Fury. So, who did it? And where was Fury? Carol turned and walked back out of the room—which seemed like a sort of small lab—and headed down the hall outside. Whoever had taken up the job of repeatedly contacting her with that machine would probably realize soon that the pager wasn't on anymore. And when they came to find it, or even if anyone decided to come through this hall, she would meet them on the way and cut to the chase. Clear up all this confusion, find out who'd made half the universe vanish, and track him down at once.

The whole ordeal hadn't quite sunk into Diana's mind. Her day had been relatively normal, she simply made her rounds around her city, scouring the streets for any danger. She managed to stop a few robberies and prevent a hand full of pedestrians from getting in the middle of a mess from j walking, it was quite the slow day for her, not that she was complaining. If the crime rates were going down, that meant that she and the other heroes were making a difference, right? If doing her job so well meant that she might eventually lose it, well, she saw that as an absolute win. Helping the police department with the odd intergalactic or supernatural foe would keep her on her toes, but ultimately, the obvious decline in crime made her smile a bit. Even the slightest drop made it all worth it for her, and on that dreadful day she was just thinking about how grateful she was, not knowing what horrors the rest of the day had in store for the young woman. Diana made a point to visit her father and grandpa at their apartment, the sun was beaming in the sky, and Diana could feel its gentle warmth on her shoulders amplifying her abilities making her feel immensely better as power surged under her skin, but nothing prepared her for the helicopter that suddenly plummeted from the sky and toward a tall apartment building. Diana watched as civilians around her began to fade away, their ashes vanishing as the winds picked up and pulled them away. Fate would have it that her dad and grandpa resided in a nearby building. In that second, she tore her gaze away from the building now burning and launched into a dead sprint toward the building she knew her family was in. Her thoughts were flooded with ideas she couldn't even process herself. Diana had no idea what was happening, but she tried to focus her thoughts on her family and getting to them. She was sure her heart was going to explode from her chest as it thumped viciously within her rib cage, fueled by the thought of her family's safety. Diana slammed her fist against the door of her father's apartment door, her keys had been dropped somewhere along the way, and her hands shook so violently she wasn't sure she could find the key to the lock anyway. Thankfully, she heard rustling inside the room. "If you're selling something, we aren't buying." A stern and raspy voice called, and Diana laughed aloud, relief flooding her veins. "It's me, Dad. I lost my keys, let me in." Diana replied, clasping her shaking hands together. She heard him holler back an affirmative and let out a series of coughs as he fiddled with the locks on the door. The door swung open, but to Diana's horror, her dad no longer stood there. Instead a pile of dust and ash collected in the doorway. Shock flooded through her as the door swung open, and her grandpa's favorite rocking chair slowly rocked as the dust collected on the seat. *** It was all fresh in Diana's mind, and she couldn't tell how long ago it had happened. Her mind was just reeling and she was full of anger. Angry at her father, grandfather, all the dwindling crime, everything, and anything where her anger didn't belong, but mostly herself. She should've known that a day like that was too good, and she should've gone to save the others, if she would've been quicker on her feet she could've stopped the helicopter or at least pulled the people out of the burning building, but instead she tried to help her family, but to no avail. They were gone anyway and it was all for nothing. Her chest felt empty, without her father and grandpa she was alone, she had friends but none of them would be able to understand or give her what she wanted the most -- answers. Diana wanted deeply to know what happened and why it happened. She clenched her jaw as she sat outside a building she had been informed was the Avenger's headquarters, surely they could give her the answers she needed. At this point she felt so empty the idea of returning her family back to their wholesome state wasn't even an idea in her mind. What she wanted was the directions to the person who caused this and give them the same feeling she was experiencing. Her chest felt like it might cave in, but before it could anger and sadness flooded in, filling her from limb to limb with the desire to get revenge. So with that fueling her, Diana got out of her car and made her way to what she assumed was the front, and found the door already open. With her eyebrows knit together in concern, Diana entered the compound and made her way toward a direction she could only hope was the right way to go. ( Sorry I took forever to get this up, clearly I'm terrible at managing my time hehehe I didn't want to thrust her upon any other characters so I kinda just put her there awkwardly. I'm really bad at joining rps )

I might do someone from the Runaways comics - just because it was the first Marvel comics I ever read and I'm familiar with that crazy lot.)

Captain America:
Steve brushed his hands across his cheeks, and nodded along to her words. They really couldn't lose hope, could they? It wasn't fair to any of them -- to the living or the disappeared. He let his eyes trail towards the window over her shoulders, and he suddenly froze. A car -- no, two cars -- were driving down the long road towards the base. He gently removed himself from Alyona's arms, and he took a quiet step towards the window, head tilted in curiosity. He watched the first car and then the second disappear from his view, and then he turned to Alyona. Had she seen the cars, too? And that's when he noticed the look on Viktor's face, the way he'd risen to his feet, and the way that Alyona had turned towards the hall. Someone was definitely here, and something told him that it wasn't just the people from the cars.
"Great," Steve muttered to himself. "Just what we need." It had better be someone friendly. Steve wasn't so sure he was ready for another fight just yet. He walked away from the window and joined Viktor, standing by his side. "Don't do anything stupid," he told the mutant. If it is a friendly, we don't want to scare them away. And if it's someone bad, we don't want to provoke an unnecessary fight.
(a quick response XD and we have like 4 new visitors at once so it doesn't even matter who Steve, Alyona, and Viktor noticed... because they're eventually going to realize a lot of people just showed up XD New to the base: John, Eveline, Carol, and Diana.)

(Heeeeeeello. It seems I'm incapable of replying at a time before midnight. XD )
Eveline slowly looked up at the building. It should have been possible for her to see anything through the reflective glass of the window, but she stared for a couple heartbeats, blinked, and then followed after John. They'd lost people. It was amazing how her brain seemed to be shorting out and going over and over that fact. Like it was trying to fix it. Fix it by calling someone, by doing something herself, anything. But she couldn't. There wasn't a way. And she needed to stop thinking like that if she was going to get anything done. Avengers first and then the rest. She carefully continued after the man she had followed here, thoughts skipping back up like a rock thrown and then ricocheting across the surface of the water. "Hold up," she said after a second, stopping. "They're coming down." She looked up, though there had been no hint of the matter. "Probably don't want to spook them - in case they think we're another problem other than ..." She waved a hand around, though there was nothing to wave at. Which was, without a doubt, the point. Nothing.

Sudhsushshsj okay a lot has happened irl- but we’re good now. Kiwi is too handsome to resist im sorry
——
Alyona found herself shuddering for a brief moment, hand raising and cupping her nose as blood started to drip out like water would with a leaky faucet. She over exerted her powers by a few threads. If any longer, she could’ve had a collapse and possibly pass out for however long until her body deemed necessary to return to consciousness. It’s what she found out when she was extensively training with Clint and Natasha before this whole mess had happened. Her footfalls were hush, slowly moving down the hallway and emerging at the railing and staring at the main entrance that revealed the two strangers there. Minty hued gaze was now settled upon them, her jaw clenching as she simply twitched her hand and a splotch of blood bounced off the aluminum flooring. The crimson liquid curled over her lips, some arching and connecting at her chin; the rapid moment of its climax would reveal she let it run down the front of her throat before it stopped completely. It was only stopped because she managed to pull her warbling mind together and shove a sleeve covered hand over her nose.
Carefully, she treaded down the steps and towards the two and merely came to a halt a few feet in front of them. She looked rough- platinum blonde hair askew and shades darker than they normally were, short and matted and uneven like someone unprofessional cut it. Her skin was dirtied in the same, stained with that crimson color as well and smeared and splotched with it. Though, some would assume it was hers, a majority of it was from others. Brooding for one moment, she managed to collect herself to dare ask why they would show up. If it was to help, they’re definitely late. “What brings you both here today?” Her soft voice questioned. It was raw and crackled, giving way she had been crying for quite some time. Her accent was thicker and often fluctuating in pitch. Added to the fact her eyes were red and puffy, as well as all glassy- it was no mystery as to possibly why. They all lost someone- it was of no wonder she might have been upset. Her stance however, was subtle enough unless trained to the eye. Her hips faced them, her feet turned at an angle where it was barely noticeable unless someone had stared and observed for quite the while. Even when upset and beaten, she was taking the defensive stance and ready to fight if there came a need. At her side dropped an infamous white haired assassin.
Her own dark gaze was assessing the situation, but she held no emotion. Natasha would grieve later when she had the chance, until then she left her emotions be on stand-by. A hand waved out, gently pressing on the younger woman’s shoulder as Natasha murmured, “They’re ordinary people Alyona. They can’t hurt us.” Alyona sent a glance to the assassin, and then back at John and Eveline.
Viktor had sent Steve a look. “I’d rather do something stupid when Logan is alive,” he grunted at the blonde. It was true, the Canadian was more inclined to have a brash thought or action just to spite his little brother. The only issue was that his little brother was dust. His eyes turned to a different hall, and it was only then he moved. He could smell someone else then, casually making way to that corridor and spotting a stranger. His boot-steps carefully softened, trench coat swaying behind him as he stalked what was essentially his prey. Coming to a halt, he stared Diana down and let his claws appear.
“I’m going to ask you once. Why are you here?” Viktor was dead serious. His eyes were dark, scruff tickling at his jacket collar. His nails clicked as he wriggled them against each other in an attempt to frighten her. The mutant was more a sympathizer towards a Mutant only cause- or world- however not at this moment. His sole focus was to help get his brother back and Borya. If he had to regenerate from a single drop of blood the he would. His stance also revealed- more obvious than his small Russian counterpart- that he was on the defensive. His claws put, canines elongated and eyes narrowed put on a menacing look. Viktor was ready to pounce if not given the right answer, and he was ready to hear this wrong answer.

Diana's mind was overwhelmed with the thoughts of her family and how confused and scared they were in those moments. They had seemed fine moments before, but once their limbs began to fade away and they lost control of them... Diana pulled herself away from those thoughts, it wouldn't help anyone to dwindle and dwell on dark memories and sad times. Instead, she planned to focus on the labyrinth of a base that lay before her. She had no clue where the hallways led, so she followed the ones that seemed the most trafficked, with the most scuff marks and splashes of dirt. Her fists were clenched as she walked and golden light poured from her fingers as she held the sun's energy in her hand, prepared to defend herself if anyone posed a threat to her. Diana wasn’t there to cause a fight or scene, in fact she just wanted answers to her questions and someone to help her get her family back, because if she couldn't get them back, well, she wasn't sure what she would do. While she loved helping the citizens of her city, it meant nothing if her father and grandpa weren't there at the end of it all. They didn't ask probing questions about the suspicious similarities between her and the cities guardian angel, they just welcomed her into their apartment with the smell of fresh dinner and sarcastic humor. A burning sensation crept up her throat and her eyes began to sting. Once again those ideas of life without her only family began to seep into her brain and tears began to drip down her eyes. They turned a light shade of red and Diana brushed away the tears, anger then flooding her. Sersi had once told her that if she let her anger get the best of her, it could make her go crazy and mad, turning her from being good and kind to evil and hateful, but it was hard to not be angry. Diana was called dramatic in school, but she just felt emotions more deeply than others, making her more reactive. I could've done more, Diana scolded herself, but her thoughts were interrupted by a voice cutting through the silence. His voice was gruff and tone serious, but a part of her didn't care about how serious and deadly he sounded, she was simply itching for a fight. Diana turned around slowly, her hands still glowing as she prepared to fight the man who threw her a shaded threat. Her eyes were bloodshot and heavy, with dark circles under them, her shoulders slouched a bit and her hair was back in a low bun, making her look more mature and serious. It was clear she was taking this hard, she looked like she needed a good shower and nap, but all she wanted was answers. Her questions bounced around in her head and this man was clearly a mutant, so maybe he had answers for her. "What happened?" Diana said, her voice cracking slightly. This stranger looked tired too, had he possibly lost someone? Diana didn't even think about the others, she was so caught up in her own pain that she didn't think about who else might've been going through this, and by the sounds of it, everyone was missing someone. Her harsh gaze softened slightly and she clenched her fists. "I just need answers." Diana replied, breathing heavily as she clenched her jaw.

Captain Marvel:
Carol made it almost all the way back to where she'd started without running into anyone. In fact, this facility seemed deserted, and if she hadn't found Fury's pager hooked up to that machine, she might've wondered if she'd come to the wrong place. But she wasn't alone. She must've just taken a route that no one else had that day. Because, when she stepped out of a hall into the wide, open floor leading to the main doors, she saw through the glass that some people had just stepped out of them and were forming a sort of congregation out by the road. The others seemed to be newcomers, if Carol had to guess, because though they all shared similar expressions of wariness, even defensiveness, only those from the facility looked like they'd just come out of a very rough battle. Carol didn't know whether or not to hope it was with whoever had caused the vanishings. At least then they'd know what was going on.
It looked like plenty of people were looking for answers after that horrible event. Which was understandable, but... Carol had gotten there first. And she didn't want to wait around for them to finish discussing it when there could still be something to do about it if she acted fast enough. Yes, it had been a long day. Yes, she could do with some sleep. No, she didn't care.
So, Carol resumed her stride after those who had just left the facility, pushing through the glass doors, walking down the steps, and stopping right behind where they had to confront the newcomers. But the only greeting she offered was a simple and easily answerable demand of a question: "Where's Fury?"
