What Rock says (especially the bolded part) implies she was fully aware of the consequences. So the whole point was to make the clans ready for the great battle? Maybe. I'm not sure. Might have to do with Hollyleaf not being one of the Three. |

I wish Hollyleaf didn't die. She was brought back to ThunderClan just to be killed off one book later. I loved Hollyleaf so much. I also loved Mousefur and Firestar, but I guess they had to die, because Mousefur was so old, not ancient like Mistystar or Purdy, but still really old, and Firestar probably had to be killed off so that ThunderClan could have a different leader. And apparently Ferncloud was killed off because fans demanded that she was killed since they saw her as a "kit machine". I think Ferncloud's okay, she's not my favourite or anything, but that was just savage. And Foxleap and Sorreltail died too, and I love both of them so much. Foxleap was so young too ;-;
So yea, if I could change something, I would let Hollyleaf, Foxleap and Sorreltail live.

Purdy is roughly the same age as Mousefur, and Mistystar is around Mousefur's age too. |
