Rosekit's eyes lit up. "That sounds really cool!" A picture flashed through her mind of a great warrior, loved throughout her clan for her warrior's heart and ability to protect her clan. "And maybe it's not so bad that they make me unique," she added with a sweet smile.

Swoopkit padded through the forest, his pace swift with excitement, until the cave finally came into view. Flicking his tail for his new adopters to follow, the young tom trotted inside and walked right up to Nightrose. "Basilwhisker and Snowdapple are adopting me," he announced proudly.
Nightrose looked up at the approaching pair. "You are?" She asked, her eyes bright.

Snowdapple's eyes glistened as she nodded happily. "I would love to bring him with me"
Basilwhisker nodded his chest puffing out proudly.

"Perfect!" Nightrose purred, smiling at Swoopkit and his new adoptive family. "That's so wonderful—congratulations!"
Swoopkit puffed out his chest, mirroring Basilwhisker. Every feature of his stance suggested pride.
Rosekit's smile widened, and as a comfortable silence fell, she got to her paws, staring up at Thunderlake. "I think...I would like to see your clan and meet everyone you've told me about." She shook her head, stumbling to find the right words—but not overly nervous for once. "I mean, I think I'd like to live in your clan...with you."

"Is there anyone you would like to say goodbye to?" Snowdapple asked.
Basilwhisker stepped forward and gave the kit a lick on the head.
(Rippleclan died. I might make a new clan and put in all my cats even though I have enough to make a complete one by myself. 🤣)

Swoopkit looked around and wrinkled his nose. "Not really." Being the picky--and slightly fussy--tom he was, Swoopkit hadn't deigned to spend time with most of the other kits. "I just want to go to your--our--clan!" He added with excitement.

Thunderlake purred and pulled Rosekit close with her paw. "I'd like that very much." She murmured, stroking her tail down the kit's flank.

Swoopkit grinned and waved at his old caretaker with his tail, leading the way out of the cave.
Rosekit let out a purr. "I'm so glad you came to the cave."

"Okay," Rosekit purred, shifting to settle herself more firmly on her paws. Catching sight of a familiar black pelt across the cave floor, she flicked her short, spiked tail. "There's Nightrose!"

"Let's talk to her together," Rosekit suggested, padding over to the black-furred caretaker and hoping Thunderlake would follow. "Nightrose," she purred, her tail waving bashfully. "I- I'm being adopted!" She glanced at Thunderlake to see if the she-cat had anything to add.

(Being a worker has kind of a fluid description. You can rp with kits (this happened more back when there were people other than me RPing the kits) or talk to adopters when they come looking for kits. But yeah...most of the functions of a worker are better served when the cave is more active :3)

(Honestly just using the random bouts of inspiration to death whenever I get them x3 But character trait generators are also a really good place to start if you need ideas!)

(Thanks for the suggestion. I've got a friend that is starting this and trying to come up with characters and looked at my about 6 pages of notebook paper full and asked how I did it. Quite a few are from you and then I won names and appearances in games. I've got some ideas from looking at how other people's characters act and what I feel like I haven't done much of yet.)
