(@emolga--she's sort of in-between...more reddish, I guess) (I assume this is about Vixenkit, but tell me if I'm wrong x3) Vixenkit's lazy head shot up like a bullet as an unfamiliar white shape obscured her vision. "Get off!" She hissed, slashing out randomly with her tiny claws as terror blossomed in her chest. Willowkit gaped at the tree as she scrambled up it after Goldenlight. "Yes...yes, absolutely! Can I really?" Nightrose shook her head. "I know it's hard to see most of the time, but there's someone out there waiting to find you--someday, they'll come, and you'll be so happy..." She tried again, flicking her tail. "But I know it's hard...and, Moonkit, are the other kits being mean to you?" "Oh, wonderful!" Nightrose purred, her green eyes warming. "Did you have a kit in mind?" "Sorry!" she jumps of, embarrassed. "My name's Snowswirl- I thought you were the most beautiful kit here, so I came right over!" she grooms herself. (How can I make her, NOT hate me? Not like, just not hate.) "Alright then!" they reach the top and view all the valley. "Do you, Willowkit, promise to help every adopter, no matter their personality or past, and to love, care, and protect the kits, even at the cost of your life?" Moonkit turns a rosy color and looks down at her front paws. |

"If you wouldn't mind, I would like to see Fishkit please. I suppose his water oriented name intrigued me." Oceanfeather purred. Her Clan would also appreciate a new cat. They haven't had a litter in moons. Nightrose smiled, a chuckle passing through her chest. "A happy coincidence," She purred, her gaze flicking across the edges of the cave I'm search of a familiar shape. "He's right over there," She added after a moment, flicking her tail in the kit's direction. |

"Oh thank you ma'am!" Oceanfeather nodded her head to the she-cat before making her way over to the kit she assumed to be Fishkit. "Hi there, are you Fishkit?" She said trying to sound happy and caring but at the same time somewhat quiet as to not scare him off. It was difficult.

Willowkit nodded, her chest puffed with pride as she firmly stated the words. "I do, always," She replied, trying to keep her voice steady as excitement flashed in her eyes.
Nightrose let out a sigh. "You shouldn't have to deal with that. If they ever say something to you, you should tell me, okay?" She pleaded, laying her paw gently on Moonkit's.

Fishkit looked up, his eyes flashing with curiosity as he looked the stranger up and down. "Yeah, that's me," He replied simply with a dip of his head. Though quiet, there was nothing in his tone to suggest hostility, and his gaze was warm.

"Well I'm uh Oceanfeather. It's very nice to meet you. Do you mind if I spend the day with you Fishkit? I want to get to know you." Oceanfeather purred, hoping he wouldn't mind. He was truly adorable, and she knew he would be a great addition to the Clan. Oceanfeather would care for him if she had to, after all, she couldn't give birth to kits.

Fishkit smiled at the kind she-cat. There was something about her, though he couldn't exactly place what it was, that drew him to her and made him feel comfortable—an uncommon feat with the generally soft-spoken and shy tom. "Yeah, I'd like that," He purred, cocking his head as if deciding whether or not to say more. "Would you...how do you feel about the water?" He asked with the beginnings of a grin.

Oceanfeather had to work her claws into the ground to keep her from jumping in joy. His question about water was what got her even more excited, "I love water! My whole Clan loves water." She grinned

"Fighting!" Sunkit purred, his golden tail waving. "It's my favorite!" "Wow," Dewkit purred, finally letting herself curl up against Moonrose. She smiled and tipped her head as she listened, fascinated. "Thank you...for everything," She mewed. "Me too," Nightrose replied as she slipped into the trees, following any trace of kit-scent she could find, though the wind threw the scents around in every direction. "I hope not." Willowkit grinned; this day just kept getting better! "Hello! Who are you?" She asked the new arrival with gleaming eyes. "I'm Willowkit!" Smudgekit smiled gratefully. "Yeah, we do," He purred, thinking over the argument before nodding. "You're smart!" He had never been particularly bothered by the things the other kits said, but it stilll felt lovely to have someone on his side. "And I can deal with bushes, I think. They sound comfortable," He announced. "I bet you're a great fighter!" Crystalfur encouraged. "Do you know any moves?" She asked, trying to remember the directions to an old group of alley cats that she used to visit. |

"Really?" Fishkit askef, his eyes lighting up and his whole stance becoming more interested. "Most of the cats here avoid it whenever they can," He chuckled, then murmured, "Do you want to go swimming? There's a river closeby, but I'm not allowed to go without an older cat." He smiled sheepishly.
Vixenkit blinked at Snowswirl--most cats would have run the other way by now. "Okay then," She murmured, flicking her tail huffily.
Willowkit--Willowbloom--could barely contain her excitement, and she dug her claws into the ground to keep from hopping up and down with joy. "Thank you, Goldenlight--so much!" She purred.
Nightrose let out a sigh--she knew how hard it was for some of the kits. "I'm not saying every day will be perfect, but I can do my best to make most of them happy," She insisted gently. "If you'll let me."
"Yeah, a bunch!" Sunkit purred. "Watch!" The little golden tom crouched down, pride radiating off of him, and swiped without unbalancing himself in the least. Quick as lightning, he bunched his hindquarters and twisted around the other way to pounce on a stick. "That works on all the kits--it tricks them!" He boasted.

Oceanfeather grinned at his reaction to hearing a whole Clan of cats likes water like him. "Well, I'm an older cat. We can go now if you want." Oceanfeather purred and stood beside Fishkit. She used her tail to guide him out of the cave and to over where she smelled the river.

"It must!" Crystalfur praised. She was never a great fighter, but it was fun to watch others hone their skills. "You'd be lucky to pull that on Kea though, she's so attentive on everything I'm not sure how she gets anything done." She mewed.

Vixenkit scowled. "Why are you talking to me?" She hissed, gazing determinedly in the opposite direction. "And I don't do anything for fun, if you have to know! The cave is boring."
"I'd love to!" Willowkit purred, racing up to Goldenlight and nuzzling her.
"It must be," Nightrose sighed. "I just don't know how to help her--poor thing."
Sunkit let out a laugh and puffed out his chest. "Don't worry--if find a way!" He boasted, his eyes gleaming. "And who's Kea? Is she one of your friends?" He added curiously.

Oceanfeather smiled when he started playing in the water, he was even cuter in the river. If that was even possible. She came forward to the bank, but when she got to the water, she flicked droplets up at him before getting wet too. "Can you swim?"

"Kea's one of the older kits. She's a bit quiet, but I think she really takes an interest in hunting and fighting, observing everything there is to see. When she is talking, she's pretty funny." Crystalfur explained. "As for friends, most of mine are outside the clan, though I love to be around my clanmates."

Willowbloom let out a purr and nodded. "Yeah, of course! Let's go!" She giggled as scampered back down the tree and trotted along at Goldenlight's side. "Kits missing? Are they okay?"
Fishkit screwed his eyes shut against the spray of water, giggling hard as he flicked his tail through the water back at Oceanfeather. "Yeah, I can," He replied with a boastfulness uncharacteristic of the shy tom. To prove it, he waded farther into the stream until his paws were lifted off the ground by the gentle current. His strokes were messy and sporadic, clearly not refined, but he managed to stay afloat "I taught myself!" He purred. "Can you?"
"Oh, she sounds nice," Sunkit replied, a purr rumbling out from his throat. "What are your friends like?" He asked. "Or, who's your best friend? Do you even have just one?" He added, nothing but curiosity in his tone even if his words appeared a bit blunt.

She watched as he preformed his messy strones, which when had to admit, we're not bad for a kit of his age and almost kit to never have swam before. She beamed when he asked if she could swim, "I wouldn't be a RainClan cat if I couldn't!" Oceanfeather purred before going in after him. She went a little deeper so she would be able to lift her paws from the bottom.

(Not having seen someone for a while is a term for death where she lives)

He purred excitedly, still trying to wrap his head around the idea of a group of cats just like him. "If I lived there, I'd never leave!" He mused, splashing around cheerfully to keep himself afloat. "Do you have water near your camp?"
Sunkit's eyes darkened as he picked up on the she-cat's tone, if not the exact meaning of her words. "He sounds nice..." He murmured, then quickly latched onto the new subject with a waving tail. "I do, actually!" He purred. "His name's Owlkit. We first came to the cave on the same day, and we've stuck together ever since," He laughed.
Vixenkit's ears pricked despite her best efforts to seem disinterested; she had never been to the twolegplace, and had only heard snatches of conversation about it from visitors as they passed through. "How far is it?" She asked grudgingly. "And what makes it so different from here?"
"That's good!" Willowkit purred, her tail flicking. "I can't wait to get there and meet everyone!"
