"That sounds like a good plan. How about you go and ask if the queens are okay with you cleaning up their nests right now." Rosebriar was proud to see that her apprentice already had an understanding of the way you are supposed to treat your clanmates. Cinderpaw perked up. "Okay!" she sprinted back towards the camp, easily climbing the tree and nosing her way to the nursery. Willowfrost jumped slightly and turned her head to look at him. 'That was good...' she said slowly, flicking an ear, 'but how do you expect to land on a mouse from that height? Mice are very small targets.' She turned to face him. 'It was creative, and I do not condone you doing it if it's a better option than stalking; but you must learn to be light on your feet. Let's try that again, little one.' She nudged him encouragingly. Thistlepaw deflated with sadness. He had done the move so Willowfrost would be proud of him, but all she was impressed with was his creativity. He gave a short nod, feeling down, and padded back to the starting point, his tail drooping in the leaves. He crept back up on her, not doing any silly maneuvers or tricks, and glanced at the ground once he was done. "Better?" It was obvious her comment had hurt his feelings. |

Wrenflight was washing her whiskers of some thrush that she had just eaten. Her claws itched in boredom. She felt like she should be doing something, and she looked around camp.

Rosebriar smiled at Cinderpaw's enthusiasm. It was great to see a young cat so ready to help her clan. She got back to camp and headed toward the nursery.

Swiftsky saw Sunpaw and dipped her head. "Hello! The weather is very nice out today. Anything going on in camp?" She asked eagerly, hoping to get a good piece of information about what was happening ( if anything was happening ) in LeafClan. "Oh, you just missed the big cleaning of this den! Don't worry, it's all done now." She added.

Sunpaw shook her head. "Nothing really. Just patrols and hunting parties it seems." She felt bad about letting her mentor clean alone, but a small bit of her felt relief. "What is next on the agenda? Should we go herb gathering today?" She said eagerly, being that she loved going outdoors. That was one part she would miss since she was a medicine cat apprentice. But it was well worth it, healing the sick and weak.

One of your cats can join Crowstripe, Hawkwhisper, and Wrenflight on a border patrol! Oh, and Cinderpaw and Rosebriar are in the nursery, so Appleblossom can jump in there. He seemed to have forgotten all about being down, and now a look of excitement and determination creeped into his gaze. Rosebriar smiled at Cinderpaw's enthusiasm. It was great to see a young cat so ready to help her clan. She got back to camp and headed toward the nursery. Cinderpaw waited for her mentor before going in. "Thistlepaw and I forgot to clean out our old dens! Should I do that?" She knew Appleblossom was still in there, but she didn't think the queen would mind much. |

Glistenfang padded out of the warrior's den with a yawn, and stretched in the sun before looking around camp somewhat sheepishly. He hoped no one had noticed that he had slept late. Acting natural as he could, he started to head towards the camp entrance, though he wasn't sure what he wanted to do yet.
Foxscar finally ceased his angry grumbling and picked out a vole for himself from the fresh-kill pile and settled down not too far from it to eat.

Windstar saw Glistenfang heading towards the entrance and jogged to catch up with him. "Would you walk with me?" She asked.
Russetsong, feeling a little down after both of her kits went off to be apprentices, sat down with a squirrel in her jaws. She saw Foxscar and scooted over to give him company.

Glistenfang's ears perked and he gave a friendly flick of his tail when Windstar jogged up to him. "Sure!" He responded, excited that the leader wanted him to join her.
Foxscar paused in eating his vole and looked over at Russetsong. "Hi." he meowed, not quite sure what to say. "Those two new apprentices are your kits, right?"

"Have you ever had an apprentice?" she questioned. Windstar liked to get to know each cat before thinking about giving them apprentices. She had done the same with Willowfrost and Rosebriar before making them mentors. Russetsong sighed. "Yes. I'm going to miss them, but at least I'll get to see them growing up and becoming warriors." she glanced at Foxscar. "I haven't seen you around, are you new to the Clan?" 'Of course I mean it.' Willowfrost chuckled, leaning down to give the kit a gentle lick across the head. 'Come on, let's go find some mice.' She purred, standing and leading the way, pulling back her lips to taste the air and catch scents. Thistlepaw purred and mimicked Willowfrost's stance. "I smell something," he meowed. Glistenfang shook his head. "Nope, can't say I have," he meowed, then adding "It looks pretty fun, though, teaching a kit all you know. They always look so excited."
Foxscar nodded, and took another bite of his vole. "Yeah, I'm new here." He didn't know why, but he felt more comfortable around the she-cat. "I'm still not used to being around so many other cats like this. Or living in a tree." He admitted, a little sheepishly.
