Windstar purred as she watched him. "Glad?" she asked. She had learned the skill to unhook collars when she was living as a rogue before she joined LeafClan. Windstar helped many a kittypet slip out of their collars to roam free and run from home. All collars were the same, so the trick was easy to learn. 'Yes, I am.' He agreed, a soft purr in the back of his throat. He buried the collar and patted the mound, then stood up straight to look at her, squinting happily. 'Thankyou again, Windstar.' Windstar purred in reply. "Now, we must get back to camp. I believe two special little kits deserve to be apprentices!" (I'm just going to make Cinderkit and Thistlekit apprentices. They've been kits for long enough XD) Foxscar stood up again and stretched. The camp was much more... Lively than the last place he had called home. That was another thing to get used to, other than the whole living in a tree thing. He walked back out of camp, gave a small nod in greeting to both Crowstripe and Rosebriar as he made his way past, and started to head towards the Sun Rocks. As Windstar headed back, she spotted Foxscar coming from the camp. "Foxscar, you may want to stay in camp for the time being! I will call a Clan meeting soon!" She wanted to warn him so he didn't miss it.

"Hhi. Hhhhow are yyyou?" Rosebriar called back. She said trying not to puff up at her general fear of talking to another cat. Crowstripe lifted his tail happily, glad she was talking to him. "I'm doing just fine," he replied, a small trill in his voice. He wanted to help her with her fear, as talking to cats was big in the Clans. "How are you?" Lifting his head, he saw Windstar heading back to camp. "Would you walk with me to the camp?"

Foxscar's ears perked up at the leader's words and he turned back around. "Oh, alright then." He walked back in behind Windstar. The Sun Rocks would have to wait; this meeting sounded interesting, at least.

Windstar easily scaled the tree and almost immediately headed for the Tall Branch above her den. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Tall Branch for a Clan meeting!" she called.
Russetsong poked her head out of the nursery, ducking back in to give her kits a small wash so they were presentable. She had no idea why Windstar had called the meeting, but she, Cinderkit, and Thistlekit padded to the center of the camp and settled down.

Crowstripe seemed friendly enough and it was polite to take other cats up on their offers.

Foxscar found a comfortable spot under the Tall Branch and waited, wondering what this meeting was about. His tail flicked as others began to gather. He was still an it nervous about being around so many cats, but tried to hide it.

Windstar waited patiently as the Clan began to gather. She didn't want any cat to miss what she had in store. Plus, the cats who she wanted to be mentors weren't yet here.

Willowfrost calmly moved to join the clan and stand below Windstar, blinking up at her affectionately and flicking her tail as she waited patiently.
Squirrelblaze trotted swiftly over to the group, eager to see what was happening and hear the news.
Littlefang sat out of the way, curious but unwilling to intrude on the clan.

Sorry for being a bit inactive, it was just during Christmas time because I was visiting my uncle and had limited use of electronics. ).
Swiftsky sat in her den, picking through some more wilted herbs and tossing them away. She tried to separate the dried and useless ones from the fresh ones, but it was actually quite hard and a whole pile was still left. So much for cleaning up the whole den and then putting all the herbs back in the right places.... This is so tiring. She thought briefly, but stubbornly kept working and eventually got most of the pile done and had replaced them in their proper spots. Yawning, Swiftsky stretched for a moment and then resumed her work.

Windstar cleared her throat. "It has been six moons since the birth of two kits in the Clan, and it is now time they became apprentices. Cinderkit, Thistlekit, step forward please." Windstar flicked her tail towards the back of the group, signaling out the two kits.
Cinderkit gulped, glancing up at her mother, eyes wide, before hesitantly padding forward. As she walked, her paw steps became stronger and her head lifted. She was afraid, but ready for her apprentice ceremony.
Thistlekit stuck out his chin and grinned. He liked having all the attention on him, but he saw how nervous Cinderkit was and pressed close to her side, comforting her, and some of his own nerves. With a slight tremble in his paws, he halted at the base of the Leader's Tree.
(I still need someone willing to mentor one of the kits [It will be a surprise who gets who])

"Cinderkit and Thistlekit!" Windstar called. She watched as the small kits took a hesitant step before lifting her head, eyes shining. "By the power given to me by StarClan, I deem you ready to start your apprentice training and learn the warrior code." Windstar jumped down onto the grass in front of the two kits. "Cinderkit, I name you Cinderpaw. Train well and make us proud." Her eyes lifted and she spotted the cat who she wanted to mentor her. "Rosebriar, you will mentor Cinderpaw. You have many skills to pass down onto this little she-cat, and hopefully, Cinderpaw will teach you something in return." Windstar was inadvertently referencing Rosebriar's hesitance to speak to others cats. Maybe having an apprentice will get her out of her comfort zone. Windstar now turned to Thistlekit. "Thistlekit, you are now named Thistlepaw. You have a spark in you; may it never die." She scanned the clearing. "Willowfrost, your last apprentice, Smokepaw, has been missing for some time now. I hope you are ready to take on another apprentice because Thistlepaw is now your's to train." She leaped back onto the Tall Branch and flicked her tail. "Meeting adjourned."

Rosebriar leaned down and touched noses with Cinderpaw as her mind start racing with what she should do first with her apprentice. "Congratulations Cinderpaw," she said.

Cinderpaw purred and shivered with happiness. She had never really had a conversation with the warrior before. "Th-thank you!" Cinderpaw gave a little trill. "What are we going to do first?"

Foxscar couldn't help but smile, happy for the new apprentices. Now that the meeting was over, he stood back up and stretched. Well, now I'm too awake to take a nap he mused, So I guess I'd better try to be productive. He once again made his way out of camp and smelled the air for prey.

Cinderpaw made a face, wrinkling her nose. "Aww," she complained. She had heard from the other apprentices how boring collecting moss was, but she obediently nodded and headed out of the camp. She could wait to walk in the forest! All she had gotten to see was the forest from the camp, and that was boring, but now she would get to hunt and feel the ground beneath her paws.

Willowfrost bowed her head to Windstar as she made the decision, silently gazing over at Thistlepaw and hoping she wouldn't lose a second one. Her heart ached slightly, missing her old apprentice, but she wouldn't allow this to stop her. She carefully walked down to the kit and sat in front of him. 'Congratulations, Thistlepaw.' She said. 'I hope you will prove yourself to be a Warrior worthy of defending the clan.' She swished her tail slightly. Though a very stern mentor, unlike Squirrelblaze, she did strive to take the best care of her apprentices. She began to ponder what to do with him for the time being; perhaps teach him to properly hunt so he could begin to be useful to the clan.

Thistlepaw dipped his head respectfully to Willowfrost. He couldn't believe Windstar had made his mentor the deputy of the Clan! "Thank you, Willowfrost. I will do my best," he swore solemnly. Thistlepaw wanted to be the best warrior in the Clan! "So what are we going to do first?" he asked, his tail twitching with excitement. Other than that and his sparkling eyes, he refrained from bouncing around. Thistlepaw wanted to show Willowfrost he was respectable and able to control his movements.
