I didn't have very many fans of Mortality for a couple of months. Then I got a lot. It just takes time for people to notice some times.
(Let me tell you a secret. You know Mosspool and Sapphire? Rather well known now aren't they? Took them ages to get a lot of fans. I'm talking a long time. But that time paid off. They are amazing authors, they just need a break.
Speaking of which, I need to dig up my speech. Be right back...)

Totally agree with that speech. I mean, what if one day somebody showed up and their writing was like the next Harry Potter, Hunger Games, or Lord of the Rings, but they just never got lucky enough to get noticed? There could be some amazing author on this forum, and nobody could know it, because they don't bother to look for them. It makes me sad, really. But honestly, all of us writers have the potential to be that good with practice. c':

Very true about the practice. I find it sad, but also motivational to find all those undiscovered authors. Which is one reason I'm a fan of nearly every fan fiction. I know how great they are or could be. :3

Yah, I know what you mean. Most of them are fine as long as you just chat, though. They don't mind to much if it takes a little longer to read the whole story because they know life happens. (I'm giving away tried secrets here.  ) |
