I just wanted to say that I'm still around. I haven't been as active in this section because I haven't had the motivation to write lately. I've been having some serious bouts of depression, so the drive to do anything is very low. I haven't given up on my 'fic, but I also can't help but feel there's no point in updating it. I feel like no one seems to be interested in my writing anymore? Idk. Maybe that's just my depression, who knows.
Either way, I'm still around. I haven't left--I just haven't been in this part of the forums for a while is all.

Hey pika! I'm glad you are still around. (': Inspiration for writing is hard to come by when you are depressed. I recently got out of a spell myself. I've been going to therapy and I got medication from my doctor to help with both my depression and anxiety. I know what it's like, though the severity is different for everyone. Have you thought about taking some steps to help yourself improve? It takes a lot of courage, but from what I've learned, it is worth sacrificing time to help yourself heal. Depression is a mental disorder that can be diagnosed. It's nothing to shrug off. It really is a constant battle in your head just to feel ok.
The fan-fiction forums have been scarce of readers. Everyone is trying to post their works since we are all essentially starting over. If you didn't already have a few loyal readers, your thread will feel much quieter than normal. I can tell you that you are not alone. Many other older writers feel the same way. It is not just your depression. I was actually trying to think of a way to help, and I find it ironic that the name of my idea is under your avatar. I was gonna call it the "Wayward Writing Society". x'D
