Amanda didn't remember when they had taken her away, she didn't remember if she even had a family, but she did remember that she was taken on her way back from somewhere. She shivered as it was cold in the small room, and she had her jacket, and was using it as a blanket since that was the only thing that she was able to use. The room was a small dungeon with bars on the front, and only one window that had bars as well. Amanda was chained to the wall by her left wrist, and also her right ankle she looked up when she had heard some noise going on outside.

(Fantastic.)
Aster didn't often play human, but of course, the only time that she did, she got herself kidnapped. She remembered the van that stopped and the human male that hit her on the back of the head. She could have ripped his throat out, but of course, playing human meant that she hadn't drank blood in several days and of course this lack of blood is what allowed her to be knocked out. She was dumped into the same room as Amanda, and she was locked in, glaring fiercely at the door.

"I wouldn't try, and get the door opened I've already tried," Amanda said quietly as she shifted her jacket over so she could have more warmth before she lets out a small sneeze.

"Bless you." Aster responded instinctively. She gripped at the cuffs on her hands and yanked them apart. It left bloody welts on her wrists and she muttered something under her breath as she moved over closer to Amanda. She could hear the girl's blood pumping under her skin and she knew that if she allowed herself to have a sip she would likely kill her. Aster wasn't known for her mercy. Rather than try to eat the other kidnapped girl, she suckled on the blood around her wrist. "Don't mind me." She muttered, glancing down at her wrists that were now healing swiftly.

"Thank you," she said with a sniff as she watched the hallway outside of the bars, "I'm Amanda what's your name," she asked out of curiosity, and she honestly had no faith of them getting out so she didn't react to the other girl braking her cuffs, and drinking her own blood.

"Hmmm?" She lifted her head, "Oh, Aster. You can call me Aster." She stood up, moving over to test the door. Amanda was right. It was shut tight - and right now, too tight for her to pull open while she was lacking on blood. "How often do they come in to feed you?" She asked curiously, running a hand through her hair.

"Once when the sun rises, then again when the sun is about between the two bars of the window, and once when the sun starts to set. I haven't been able to tell the time other then that way since I was brought here," she answered before she yawned.

Aster cast a distasteful glance at the window, sighing. She pulled off her own coat and offered it to her. It wasn't that cold in here, and she couldn't really care less. She couldn't feel the cold anyway. "Here," She muttered, moving over to inspect the barred windows. "How long have you been in here?" She asked, eyes narrowing. "They haven't tried anything, have they?"

"I remember that I was around maybe fourteen or fifteen when they brought me here, and I think I'm seventeen or eighteen so six years give or take. There were other kids in here, but over the years that I've been here they would be taken, and after my second year I was alone," she answered.

"Three years. You poor thing. I'm sorry." Although it had been a long time since Aster had really felt any compassion, she was angry that humans could be so heartless. She continued to pace around the room. "I can get you out, but it won't be pretty." She gave a grin, "and I'm sure you wouldn't mind seeing some pricks suffer, am I right?"

"It wouldn't matter even if we tried to escape the whole area is far away from any city," she said with a sigh, "Though I do agree I would like those guys to suffer, and to watch it we wouldn't even know which way to go when we get out. Plus I was blindfolded when they got me into the car so I wouldn't even be able to help us get back to a city," she said with a sad sigh.

"I have a good sense of smell." She said absently, as she paced around the room. "I'll be able to get you back. "You have a family?" She glanced out the window, noticing the sun on the horizon. "Although," She made a bit of a face. "I can't move with you during the day."

"I think so I can't remember," she said as the door on the far end of the hallway was unlocked, and a man in a black trench coat with two bowls of food came towards them.

Aster watched as the man stepped in, and as she was standing near the door, she was standing behind him. She sped forward, grabbing him by the shoulders and slamming him against the wall behind her. She looked into his eyes. "Don't scream." She told him, her eyes flashing before she sunk her teeth into his neck, lapping up the sweet blood from the attack.

"I just came to bring food," the man said before he let out a scream, and dropped both bowls onto the floor, And Amanda just watched in fear before she got a apple, and started to eat it. "What in the hay is going on down here," a voice came from upstairs.

Aster stepped away from the man, allowing him to drop to the ground. She was grinning, blood dripping down from her mouth, and she finally felt revitalised. She stepped over to Amanda and took the cuffs, snapping the metal easily. "You wanted to get out, right? Now's your chance." She grinned, looking quite menacing with all the blood on her face.

"Jump on my back," She said softly. "I'll be moving very fast and you won't be able to keep up with me." She looked up as another man entered the room and she let Amanda's hand go to attack the other man, throwing him against the wall before drinking from him deeply. "Sorry." She said to Amanda although she really wasn't. "I haven't eaten in a week or so."

Aster left the building and her eyebrows furrowed when they came out to the forest. She glanced at the rising sun and hissed as she disappeared into the trees, moving swiftly away from the other humans in the building. After a few minutes, Aster had to stop, her skin was smoking from the sunlight that she had been in. She huddled up in the nearby tree for the shade.

"You okay now kid?" Aster asked quietly as she accepted the jacket, pulling it closer to her so that she could somewhat protect herself. "I'll be able to move when nightfalls again," She glanced around, "There's some fruit trees around, if you want to have a look for something to eat."

A long drawn out hiss echoed through the trees the others were in, followed quickly by running and some shouting. Sterling had gotten himself into a mess, he knew it. He tucked in his black wings closer into his body as he used his enhanced speed to run faster than he had been previously, really wishing he could use his pinions for something useful and fly. But the forest was far too dense for that. He had enough enough trouble skirting around trees and avoiding hazards, he couldn't imagine what it would be like if he was flying.
His glasses bounced precariously on his nose, his stained black eyes with haunting golden irises finding it hard to see out of the cracked and beaten lenses. Messy golden brown hair threatened to obscure his vision further, but with careful blows of air towards the locks sliding down his sweaty forehead proved to be useful in making sure they didn't mess him up. Sterling's fingertips still looked like they had been dipped in black, the black fading to a brown and seemingly infecting his veins up his fingers from the recent use of his claws. Yes, he had claws. They were long and razor sharp, at least before this nightmare. Now they were chipped and slightly blunted, but still sharp as hell. He was glad that only supernatural creatures and sometimes humans (as in psychics and the like) could see his "true" form, as it definitely would attract unwanted attention. To humans he appeared as a human around twenty, with darker hazel eyes and no signs of his supernatural marks at all.
But don't go thinking that Sterling didn't escape without a scratch on his pale skin, however, as pain riddled throughout his body with each thud of his foot hitting the soft forest floor. He was bleeding from a cut on his shoulder, his hand holding both his shoulder and the torn fabric of his faded black band shirt. He was pretty sure he had twisted his left ankle as well, or at least pulled some muscle in his left leg because he was limping ever so slightly on that very limb as he ran. His face and clothing was splattered with blood that wasn't his own, and mixed with the inhuman eyes really gave off a crazy vibe.
But as he took a whiff of the forest air, his nose had picked up some more scents. He didn't recognize these, however, which was mostly a good thing as he would instantly recognize the scents of his pursuers. They did smell like the place he had been in, so that made him slightly wary. Even though he wasn't in good shape at all, he could still put up one hell of a fight, so he trusted himself in doing so as he neared the others. He could smell them coming closer, or more like him coming closer, so as he bursted out of the darkness of the trees and into the sight of the others he had smelled he was glad to see there was a vampire and a human in sight.
