Frogleap shook his head. "I wasn't assigned to patrol yet, so I'd be happy to sit with you." He sat down next to her. "Are you feeling better?"
Russetshade pressed against him. "I'll be back soon, I promise."
Rowankit leaned back to avoid the strike. "Do too!"

"I am. I don't feel so unable to move." Hollowpool meowed. "I'm suppose to keep my leg still though." She spoke.
Flintclaw nodded. "Very soon." He nodded.
"Do not!" Strikekit complained, pushing him off of him. He hopped up and shook out his fur.

Frogleap nodded. "I can understand that. I'm so glad you're getting better Hollowpool." He pressed his nose to her cheek.
"Enough!" Russetshade snapped at the two kits before Rowankit could argue again. "StarClan, with you two they'll never be peace in the nursery. Go play outside!"
Rowankit flattened his ears when their mother snapped, but he perked up at the mention of going outside. Smiling at his brother, Rowankit darted for the den entrance.

Cloudscar shook his head. “No you don’t. Sure you can’t let this consume you, but no cat is fine after something like that.” He paused for a moment. “The Clan is here for you Cedarstorm. You only need to ask.”

Hollowpool pressed close to him. "I'm glad I'm getting better too. Hopefully soon I'll be hunting with you again."
Strikekit flinched also. He hurried after his brother when he headed outside. "Wait for me!" He cried after him.
"All siblings do is bicker." Flintclaw chuckled softly.

"My own brother dosed we with poppy seeds, Cloudscar." Cedarstorm finally looked at the tom, his tail flicking in betrayal of his anxiousness. "How do I know other members of the Clan don't want to do something similar?"
Frogleap purred and nodded. "That'll be great! The Clan could really use your skills."
Russetshade let out an sigh and nodded, pressing against her mate. "I think I just need a moment's break from it."
"Wow! Look at all the snow!" Rowankit gasped in surprise at how white the camp was, he smiled at his brother in excitement.

Cloudscar sighed. “Maybe they do, maybe they don’t. I do know, however, that if you start to doubt your own clan mates nothing good will come of it. The clan looks up to you Cedarstorm, they need you. They can’t have you doubting them.”

Cedarstorm shook his head. "Everyone heard Ashrock's claims, Cloudscar. They'll realize he's right. I was out of place at the gathering and half the time I have no idea what I'm even doing." He let out a sigh and his head lowered in discouragement. "Forgive me, I shouldn't be ranting to you."

Cloudscar flicked his ear. "Cedarstorm I can't even imagine what you must be feeling, I don't mind you ranting to me at all." He sighed. "You know, we have mentors to learn how to be warriors, but deputies and leaders don't get mentors. They need to learn what they're doing on the go. That means they have to learn everything through trial and error. So your first gathering you didn't look or feel like what you think a deputy should. But do you think Falcontalon instantly felt comfortable in his position? Do you think Northstar was born knowing how to lead? It takes time, and I challenge anyone to do better than you have, given the circumstances."

Honeyblaze was trotting through the forest, her eyes scanning the pine trees for any prey. This is only a walk, Honeyblaze reminded herself. I'm not hunting! She slipped around a hawthorn, and saw a lizard. Without thinking, she stalked forward, her eyes trained on the small reptile. She prowled around it, and pounced. It skittered fast, and Honeyblaze was too slow for it. The lizard had vanished into a hole in a rock. She growled ad bounded off to find something else. Soon enough, another lizard was basking. She padded towards it, and Honeyblaze lashed out with her claws, the lizard tried to bite her too late. She nipped it and it went limp. She held it in her jaws and padded off. I really shouldn't be hunting, She thought as she headed towards camp. It'll help feed the clan, She reassured herself as she went back to Shadowclan's camp.
When Honeyblaze walked through the entrance, she immediately dropped her prey on the pile and went to the warrior's den to sleep. She settled comfortably into her nest, and soon began to nod off. She dreamed of her as an apprentice, battle training, searching the elders for ticks, hunting, and collecting moss. I'll never be like this again, Honeyblaze thought as she watched herself practice the tail yank with her mentor. These memories will stay in my head for a long time, She thought as the memories faded to darkness, and she woke up. She stretched, and rested. I;ll miss a lot.

I’d ask you to join me for a patrol but I think we’d be better off fixing dens in this snow.” He offered.

Honeyblaze looked up at Brittlefoot. "Of course," Honeyblaze replied as she got up and shook herself. "I'd be better off, I've already gone hunting." She padded out of the den, and shook off any snow that was sinking into her fur. She turned around to look at him with her emerald eyes. "Do you know any good spots for moss and bracken? I think I saw a hole in the roof of the elder's den; They won't appreciate the melt dripping into their fur." She purred, imagining the elders complaining to the deputy about how they were so cold. "Or do you have some in store?" Maybe Snowdance will have some moss, Honeyblaze thought as she flicked her tail of snow.

Indeed, a hole had opened in the upper side of the den. He mewed. “Great eye! Nah, I myself don’t have the material, but we can go and find some. Shouldn’t be too hard to find out of camp.” Brittlefoot offered.

Honeyblaze nodded. "Sure. I think me might be able to ask Snowdance for some. We would be doing Cedarstorm a favor, by fixing the elder's roof," She purred as she started towards the entrance. "Come on, we should leave now. It would be nice to get out early, before it starts snowing hard." She suggested as she looked through her mental map to find a tree that had a lot of moss. "We can try by the Great Oaks," She added, thinking of the four great trees.

Brittlefoot nodded to the warrior and warned with a hint of humor. “I can’t go too far, with my legs in this weather. But I’m sure we’ll find something.” He moved to follow her as quickly as he could.

(It's neutral territory, It belongs to all the clans) "Of course. It will only be as long as the trip to gatherings," Honeyblaze said. "They've been here since Shadowstar; They should have as much moss as all the Starclan warriors. Are you ready?" She asked, her eyes gleaming. "We'll get a head start, if we go now," She pointed out.

He let out a sigh and began padding off toward the twoleggedplace once again. "Falcontalon was a great deputy, he got to learn from Aurablaze before him. I know I can still ask for his help, but he's really enjoying his time as an elder. He gets to spend so much more time with Roseleaf and his kits, I don't want to bother him." He shook his head. "Northstar told me she was thrust into leadership just a few days after she became a warrior. I can't imagine what that must have been like for her--to overcome the doubt of the Clan like she did and become the great leader she is today, but she's Northstar, she can handle anything." He paused a moment and stared out through the pines, the twoleggedplace fence line peeked through the trees. "I can't amount up to her."

.3.)) "Yes, Brittlefoot," Honeyblaze replied kindly, and moved slower. "We can try some of the old pine trees, I think there was one over here." She gestured to a small clearing. On the side, an old tree sat, moss clustered around the lower branches. She padded over and clawed some down. "Here's some," Honeyblaze called to Brittlefoot. "There's a lot here. We should leave some for the other warriors, though, so they won't have to look any farther in the future," Honeyblaze suggested as she clawed some more down. "There's not a lot." She murmured to herself. "We will be able to only patch up the elder's den. It will help, fortunately."

He crouched to inspect it and nodded. “We can do without new bedding for now. The hole in the elder’s den, and the comfort of them and the queens is most important. Good work.” He chuckled.

"True." Honeyblaze agreed. "The elders deserve peace." She picked up her moss and said around the mouthful, "I've got enough," She said as she sat down. Why am I even holding the moss? She thought, confused as she put it down and sat down as well, next to the moss as she waited quietly for Brittlefoot to take his part in getting the moss for the clan.

(I'll just start a post and you can pick ) Northstar padded out of her den, immediately eyeing the medicine den to make sure Ashrock was helping the medicine cats. Seeing his fluffy tail poke out of the den, she blinked in satisfaction. The leader took a deep breath, purring with the scent of the pines. She smiled at the kits that played outside the nursery and the apprentices that trained together. Yet, she blinked in curiousness when she realized she didn't spot her deputy. Where was Cedarstorm?

Bits of den material and snow clung to his silver spotted fur. His blue eyes flickered with curiousity as he mewed. “Are you looking for something?” He approached her, hoping to help if she required it.

Honeyblaze nodded back and picked up her moss. She padded silently through the pine forest, frequently checking back to see if Brittlefoot was following her. The elders will appreciate this very much, She thought happily as they reached camp.
