Introduction
You are padding through a pine forest, the smells of the trees strong after a heavy rain the night before. The territory is unfamiliar to you, all the scents muddle together. You hadn't been lost when you left your home but now, you feel as though you are walking in circles. Which way is back home? It doesn't help that it is beginning to get colder, dark, and your paw steps are growing heavy. You should have never left your home. Your stomach lets out a growl but you don't have the energy to hunt or search for food and you are frightened and scared.
You continue padding along, darkness closing in around you and you decide that you should rest. There is no point in getting lost further. Maybe in the morning, you will be able to find your way. You spot a tree that has good cover and make your way over. Before you know it, you are curled up and drifting off to sleep. Your eyes hardly close for what seems like only moments when you begin to hear whispers and the crunching of pine and twigs. Alert, your eyes widen and you prick your ears. Someone or something else is out there. You hadn't been able to scent it earlier. You press your pelt up against the tree and the noises get closer. You try to scent again and very faintly, you can scent other cats. They must be close.
Suddenly, out of the dark, you see a pair of eyes staring at you and then another and another. You are outnumbered and weak. You sink into the ground shaking.
"What are you doing on HollyClan territory?" A tom cat hisses. You don't say anything but tilt your head. HollyClan? "Speak cat!" The tom's voice comes again more demanding. But before you are able to answer, another voice pipes in, this time a she cat. "This cat is not doing is any harm. We don't need to start any fights," she hisses towards the tom. This cat must be the leader. "Don't mind him. I am _____star, leader of HollyClan. You are on our territory. Are you passing through?" You reluctantly respond to the she cat, telling her you are lost and looking for a place to rest the night before finding your way home. "You can stay the night with us," the she cat says. "Maybe you will even join us..." She flicks her tail and motions you to follow, which you do thankful for her offer. The idea of a clan seems unfamiliar to you, yet intriguing. Will you join?

History
The history of HollyClan began long before the current generation. While much of the history is pretty murky and unclear, it is said that a kitty pet by the name of Holly is who started it all. According to tales told by elders, Holly had been a mischievous and curious young kitty pet. One night, she wandered out of her den, and caught in the forest amidst pine and fog, she had lost her way. Her vision had been clouded, and scents blocked. It was all overwhelming but when all hope would have been lost, she was guided by some hidden spirits to a cave, now known as the Moonpool. There, she slept with ancient cats who told her about the clans and explained how they would work. She had been hesitant at first, but accepted the task. She gathered cats in the area who had been living without leadership but desperately needing such, and HollyClan was born from there. It continues to strive many many seasons and generations later.

Territory
HollyClan territory is located in a pine forest. The area is pretty shaded and covered. The camp is located on an old twoleg settlement that has long been abandoned, where it is overgrown with trees, brush and bushes surrounding the outside. It is hidden from the outside. Two sides of the camp are built against rock walls which has long since fallen and begun to crumble. Outside of the camp, is a training clearing and a sunning rock over looking it. There is a river running outside of the camp called the Murky River. The river leads down to the Moonpool, which is located in a cave. There is a swamp that is located behind the camp. Off in the distance are twoleg dens and an old thunderpath that is rarely used. On the west border, it leads to mountains and a farm. The Tall Pine is where the clan leader holds clan meetings.
Gatherings: There will be clan gatherings at the Old Oak which is to the South of the border, if you continue past the camp. It is located at the edge of FallenClan territory.

Timberspirit: Timberspirit is a long-furred light tan tabby tom. He has some darker brown tabby markings on his legs and tail and white markings on his face and ear-tips and dark amber eyes. He has a very serious looking face and demeanor but he is actually very friendly if you look past his default expression. A pacifist, he would rather try to talk to a cat than fight. Lives up to his name as he loves to climb trees, which has made his legs very strong. | Deamonsoul

Coal: He has a grey pelt that is usually messy and ruffled. He doesnโt care about his appearance, so he keeps his fur that way most of the time. He has piercing amber eyes. Coal is protective of Mintpaw because she is the only family member he has left since his mate was killed by twolegs. (formally a kittypet) | schrei

Barbclaw: Barbclaw is a yellow eyed black tom with gray and silver stripes on his belly, back and tail. He is strong and fast hitting, but not fast at running overall. His name comes from how his claws and teeth are shaped: his claws are narrow, but dig in into your skin when he strikes or slashes you, same for his teeth as well, he is a Maine Coon, so he is HUGE. He is a playful sometimes clumsy cat, but is serious in battle and he can sometimes get provoked pretty easily, but overall he is a nice cat and isnt to strict with apprentices and young warriors. He is 43 moons old. | barberz
Quietsmoke: A dark smokey gray short-furred she-cat with soft spots of lighter colors, making her pelt really look like smoke. She has dark green eyes. She is a very harsh cat, not afraid to challenge others. She hates it if a cat gets away with breaking a rule with little to no punishment and is kind of a tattle-tail. She is hostile to all outsiders be they rogue, kittypet, loner or Fallenclan and is very prideful of Hollyclan. Contrary to her name, she is not quiet.| Deamonsoul
Leanstep: Leanstep is an 8 moon lean, graceful tomcat, small in size, with stature resembling that of a Singapura cat. His appearance is notably similar to that of a Singapura as well, as he has a similarly beige coat with the same velvety texture; the only difference is that his hairs are notably downier. His eyes are yellow, and appear enormous on his skinny face. He has two characteristic features: His large ears and contrastingly small feet. Leanstep is considerably young, at least in terms of growth, and still needs to grow a lot more before he can be considered an adult. Personalityโwise, Leanstep is skittish, gullable and fretful. He can often be seen lagging behind when hunting or on patrol; some may believe this is because he is a wuss, but he is actually only taking the rear so that he can look out for everyone else. The small tom has self-esteem issues and has trouble making friends with his more confident Clan fellows. A pushover, it is natural for Leanstep to fall over under aggression or assertion from others. It is easy to underestimate Leanstep for two reasons: his size and his meekness. I must warn you, however, that underestimating Leanstep may cost you, because inside, where no one can stunt his ambition, Leanstep is as keen to succeed as anyone else. In spite of this, the young tom remains shy and timid, and the only way to make friends with him is to make the first move yourself. When he warms up to you, however, Leanstep, albeit considerably timid still, is fiery in his own special way. | mongrel
Yewdapple: Yewdapple is a 13 moons fluffy, mottled she-cat with cream-brown base fur and darker markings. She is bulky in build and looming in stature, altogether impressive-looking, with an ample, fluffy, voluminous coat. Her pointed ears with tufts at the tips and puffy, mane-like ruff are her characteristic features. She has a white splash of fur on her chest as well as hints of white on her belly and flanks. Her eyes are amber. Generosity and kindness come naturally to Yewdapple; even the notion of committing evil could never occur to her, never mind tempt her or sway her. She is good-natured but rather reserved, with a dignified bearing. Once you get to know her, however, she is something of a gossip as well as a comedian, often using humor to take the edge off a quarrel or rivalry. Yewdapple is rather gregarious and will click with anyone instantly, even if they don't like her in turn. Only the choicest cats can have the privilege of becoming a friend of hers rather than an acquaintance, however. Yewdapple is something of a pessimist, in spite of her otherwise optimistic mindset, always fearing the worst for every negative scenario. She is also rather vulnerable, being easy to corrupt, as she has not the negativity needed to comprehend the notion that someone could betray or take advantage of her, much less come up with it. She isn't easily fooled, nor tempted, but if an endeavor seems beneficial to her Clan, she will not hesitate to put it into effect, making her easily swayed a victim. | mongrel
Dewfang: Dewfang is a 25 moon old, skinny grey she-cat with dark speckles across her back and under her amber eyes. She is a lively and quick cat, who doesn't believe in pity parties or conceit. She's confident and pushy, but simultaneously empathetic and good-natured. Rarely takes offence, despite how often she can cause it. She often is seen with mud on her pelt as she enjoys hunting in the swamp and murky river, preferring the taste of frog and fish to mammal. Born a loner and an only child, Dewfang has a looser view of family and the code than some clan born cats. Nonetheless, Hollyclan is her family and she wouldn't trade her life here for anything. | sparrow
Flamepelt: Flamepelt is a large, bright orange tabby, tom with piercing green eyes and light ginger to pale yellow stripes. Flamepelt is kind, loyal, brave, and smart, and a great fighter, but is also a poor hunter due to his large size. Flamepelt has a brother named brackenclaw, his only known family still alive. | firestar2424
Brackenclaw: Brackenclaw is a lithe, dark brown tabby tom with deep amber eyes and a white belly. Brackenclaw tends to stay quiet, never in a hurry to launch into battle or share tongues with others. The only real friend he has is his brother, Flamepelt. Unlike his brother, Brackenclaw is quick, stealthy, and amazing at hunting. Brackenclaw's mother died of a severe case of greencough. his brother, Flamepelt, is his only known family still alive. | firestar2424
Astergaze: Astergaze is a 55 moon old, large muscular white tom with blue eyes and black patches on his head, shoulders and tail. He has a notch in his left ear and patchy fur covering smaller scars on his belly. Astergaze is a very lighthearted, but experienced cat. He is quick to tease and joke with his clanmates, but will be firm and serious when he senses danger. Not a fan of public speaking or leading, but will always add his two cents to an important matter. Can sometimes come off as double-sided due to his inability to find the happy medium between jovial and dead serious. Clanborn, he's outlived his family and has yet to take a mate. | sparrow

Bravepaw: Bravepaw is a calico she-cat. Most of her pelt is white with a few splotches of brown, tan, and black. Her eyes are a forest green. She is energetic and kind. | Kayla1097
Stagpaw: A small white tom with brown patches all over his pelt. He has brown eyes and is very friendly and open. He loves to learn and explore and often times talks too much and interups others by accident. He has a bad habbit of getting into trouble with his exploring and curious nature, often sneaking out of camp when not allowed to. | Deamonsoul
Fightpaw: Fightpaw is a tom with a silver-blue pelt and dark blue eyes. He's loyal to his clan, but very rambunctious and ignorant, he is a young apprentice, at 7 moons old and is still too young for a relationship. His mother died giving birth to his litter,and most of his siblings also died due to this. His father was killed by a badger when Fightpaw was 2 moons old | FrozenFlashDrive
Mintpaw: She is a light grey she-cat, like her father. However, her eyes are bright green. Mintpaw is very convinced of her feelings, and most of her actions reflect the emotions she feels. She is also very perceptive of others emotions, and tries to cheer them up in her own way. (formally a kittypet) | schrei
Mothpaw: Mothpaw is an 8 moon old, tan tabby tom with amber eyes and a white chest and muzzle. He's a kindhearted, hardworking, and at times proud cat, always willing to give advice and a listening ear. He's particularly tender to cats younger than him. He likes to keep busy, as dwelling in his thoughts tends to lead him to being overly critical of those around him. He gets great satisfaction from seeing his friends succeed, but can be prone to jealousy if he feels he isn't being appreciated. Armed with a sharp tongue and claws in a fight, Mothpaw isn't one to hold back against an enemy. Clanborn, his sister and father died of greencough. His mother abandoned clanlife for that of a kittypet. This is a detail he's particularly ashamed of and tries to avoid discussing family because of it.

Daisykit: Dasiykit is a 4 moon old, small white she-cat with yellow eyes. She is a very curious and stubborn cat, which makes for a troublemaking/adventurous sort of personality. She's genial to most cats, but there are the select few who just rub her the wrong way. She'll avoid said cats when she can, but when forced into their company, she can get somewhat snarky. Her mother was a kittypet who ran off and got lost near Hollyclan shortly before kitting. Her mother and siblings died, but Daisykit was taken in. | sparrow

(Can we claim high positions like deputy or was that going to be done in rp? also.... did you want to Have Holly clan border my clan Fallenclan? We don't have any bordering clans yet(will be one to the West eventually after a plot) but I have the Southern Border and Northern Border open! (The eastern border is reserved for our Apprentice Trials lol) I'll post a link to the clan if you want. And if you don't want bordering clans thats cool too!)

We don't have any bordering clans yet(will be one to the West eventually after a plot) but I have the Southern Border and Northern Border open! (Yikes  That sounds somewhat Like Divergent to me... where they cut their hands and let the blood drip into their chosen faction. I know it's not my Clan, but I just want it to be a normal, traditional Clan like the books xD I haven't done rpg like that in so long (: ) |
