It's fairly uncommon. I didn't know what it was until I looked it up after seeing a quick bit on it on a science channel on TV. I always wondered why it made me so angry every time she howled and then why I'd cry after or hit my head off walls. Well, I found out. So yeah, not that well known. "Audio sensory disorder is just a sub-category for "Sensory processing disorder." There's others associated with touch, smell, sight, etc. I may have it for touch, too, since I hate to be touched by anyone who really isn't family or a best friend. It kind of feels like my skin is lightly burning in that spot, but idk. I have yet to look that up. Seriously, though, as bad as it sounds, I really do have a long list of mental disorders, so it's not the worst ones, and not the worst I could have. I don't have Schizophrenia, thankfully, and I think that would be far worse than anything I have, besides maybe anxiety. I hate my anxiety the most...

I have a friend with anxiety and from my witnessing, it is quite awful. I think it's gotten slightly better for her in the last couple of years with a new medication. |

The thing with anxiety is it is different for every person, just like depression. I don't know how her's is, but mine is more nausea, shaking, and sweating. If I get a really bad attack I'll throw up, but it's usually just churning in my stomach, sweating, and maybe some shivers. I hate it the most, though, because it comes around whenever I want to go out and do something fun. It either takes away some or most of the fun or stops me from doing something entirely. I'd take double my depression to have anxiety leave. I hope your friend is better off than I am with how it affects her.

Sea: That's how my friend is, though she rarely gets nauseous. She just sweats and gets short of breath.
(I'm sorry if I am not a great person to talk to about this because the only thing that I know of that I have is some very minor OCD)

No, you're fine. Most people don't have everything I do, or only have one or two really. I kind of like talking about mental disorders anyway because I am kind of into psychology and it makes me good to talk about it and not have the other person brushing it off like nothing or trying to have a competition to see who's worse off. You're actually the perfect person to talk to about this :3 I'm rather enjoying it. Especially since I can't do it often for reasons above and because I can't just say "Want a list of mental disorders so we can talk about them?"

Same! I have an odd obsession with bones. I love skulls especially. I don't know if it's because it used to house the body's most complex organs, eyes, brain, and tongue, or because it just looks creepy. Bones just fascinate me, though. I love learning about mental disorders and how it affects other people as well, along with how serial killers think. they are the most interesting just because I want to know why they do what they do. it's also fun to predict what people will do when I'm around them. My friends are unknowingly test subjects for my little psychology fascination, and my parents just got home. be back in a little bit. Gonna try and avoid the howling by going to our barn.

Back, they put her outside so there may still be a chance it'll happen when she comes back in... But for now I'm listening to music and drawing.
Organs aren't as good to me as bones are. I still like them, especially the heart, liver, and kidneys, but for some reason bones are just my thing. I do very much love the brain, though, obviously :b

Surprisingly, I avoided the howling for now.
I'm working on another siggie dragon. I promised a request before my internet went stupid and I'm doing it now even though we're moving here. They could still use it if they still want it.
I never took anatomy, sadly. The teacher at my high school wasn't the best, and so I took physics. Physics teacher was the best guy ever, really nice and understanding and funny.
