Nice! It's a pretty great feeling when you help out with that :D My parents are always coming to me with pictures and descriptions of what they've seen xD And he's a serious birder too.

He thought they were a lot more rare than they were. He said shaped like a flicker but colored like a downy, and that matched the description.

Kinglets are so cute!
I... haven't seen anything interesting lately, I've been cooped up indoors studying xD
I did see a red tailed hawk last week though, forgot about that

pretty common, but still nice I see merlins about once every few months (I think they're merlins). Saw one two weeks ago.

Nice, I used to see merlins in my neighborhood but haven't in a really long time ;-;
I saw a warbler the other day, but it flew away too quickly for me to give it any accurate identification

don't you hate it when you see something that you think you haven't seen before but you're too far away to identify? yesterday I saw a flock of something that I can only describe as fat cardinals with white stomachs and dark tan backs.

Right??? It's so frustrating!!
On a happier note, I have awesome news! There is a brood of Canadian goslings at the park near me, as well as mallard ducklings! They're pretty common species but the babies are so cute! >w< I'll try and upload a couple pics I took of them~

Hey does anyone know how to attract a Northern Flicker to a feeder? Because we have one we call "Nessie" (yes for the Loch Ness monster xD) and she is constantly eluding me.
We have these hanging ferns every year and these house finches like to make their nests in them. They're so noisy but their song is so pretty.
Also in high school a breeding pair of Killdeer decided it was a good idea to raise their family in the school parking lot. They were fun to watch :3
