No problem that's what fic's are for, right? And oh yes I totally agree with you TLH on...gah, why do the Erin's have to butcher all of their characters x_x They did well with Jayfeather at least. I mean look at TaS he was like the only good thing that happened in that bookHeh I wouldn't know...the last warriors books I read were Tallstar's Revenge and The Last Hope x_x

When I heard about the flop that was Bramblestar's storm I just kind of gave up completely I mean really, a kittypet? Squirrelflight is the love of your life and you fall for a kittypet?!?!?! Ahem...yeah, Brambleclaw is one of my favorite characters if you can't tell XD

I don't have any plans to read AVOS personally…I'm just not invested in the series anymore, and despite all I've heard about how great DOTC and AVOS are, I just can't get interested in them
I do still comb The Cats and skim the wiki for information, though

Idk, I once had the entire series up to the Last Hope but I think I'm gonna try to sell them or give them away, etc. Too many other things to read like the five Redwall books I have yet to read ugh

DotC is great. And AVoS isn't that good, but I'm going to read the rest even if they're written like Starkit's Prophecy. XD You don't have to read them if you don't want to, but I'd recommend it. (:

(: Trust me, if I had the time I used to, I would. I haven't even read my new Redwall books that I got last October for my birthday XP Oh well, I'm beginning to understand why adults don't read as much as their kids. Did any of you ever read the Guardians of Ga'Hoole books? Sigh, that was my first ever book fandom. Oh, the memories. Too bad the movie did so poorly.

I read Guardians of Ga'Hoole many times! all a long time ago, but still
and I read most of the Redwall books multiple times; I think Doomwyte was the last one I read, though, and there are…two more after that?

Gah those were the best. Still have those original 6 on my bookshelf for nostalgia purposes Pssh, that's one of the problems with that series. You literally never know what time period the next book will be in. I finally found a chronological list online so my nonexistent OCD doesn't act up whenever I glance over at my bookshelf. Like, how did he manage to write so out of order? Crazy. Trust me, if I had the time I used to, I would. I haven't even read my new Redwall books that I got last October for my birthday XP Oh well, I'm beginning to understand why adults don't read as much as their kids. The animation was nice, but the movie itself wasn't great. :/ You should! They're a little more "magical" than warriors, and honestly I think they're more violent. I mean, the most violent scene in warriors is said to be Tigerstar's death, right? Yeah...GoGH is definitely more violent. Not in a creepy way though. The way that you're fine reading but then when you're describing a part to your friend or parents you realize what you're saying and...yeah, don't be put off by the Scholastic ages 7+ labeling is all I'm saying haha. The movie was bad because it crammed three books into one and as a result changed a bunch of stuff around. Plus it wasn't done by Disney or Dreamworks, so no one knew or cared about it

seconding the GGH recommendation; if you still enjoy Warriors I think you'll enjoy GGH too

I've read nearly all of GGH. Lost interest ones I found out that someone (who shall remain nameless) died. Sigh...
And oh, since we are talking about someone writing a book series out of order... He probably had a brain like mine. XD I'm writing The Game that way. I know what happens in which order and it actually helps me build foreshadowing. And I'm crazy that way. It's like a puzzle for me and reading books out of order is what I'm great at (I read a book series backwards once.) so writing one that way is second nature.

I think Redwall might be the only one I've read that's that scrambled around (Warriors is a little bit, but for the most part it's sequential, and most of the ones that are out of order are "extra" books anyway...) but I agree

I read Warrior out of order, so I can't say that I had the same experience as you. I don't know any series in such a random order either (unless, once again, you count The Game).

I think they have some of the books in my school library... *rummages through the shelves looking for them* I keep willing the people who're making the Warriors movie not to do that to it... It would be a shame if they made a horrible movie and make people who haven't read them decide not to read them because the movie was bad.. :/

tiger beetle Ah. Yeah I think you're right. mintedstar/fur Writing a series like that would drive me crazy, I think. XD It just seems like it would be so much easier to mix up a certain series of events, and you're constricted in a sense as to what you can do in the "in-between" books. Not necessarily a bad thing, just not for me, I think. Now I'm intrigued whose death discouraged you enough to lose interest? Also, how far did you get?

good luck with the writing!
yeah; I admit I don't have high hopes for the Warriors movie, but who knows…
I probably couldn't do it either; I feel like I tamper too much with my storylines while writing to write out of order

Aha. That's kind of funny, because I remember distinctly not liking him for some reason (probably because he turned good tbh and then also because I didn't like how Soren had to become an adult with a mate and kids lol). Honestly though, his death is soooooooo well written, and although I thought the ending was a little rushed, that book was one of my favorites. That last battle tho...just wow. Definitely not TLH material if ya know what I mean ^^'

It would have been cooler if he had started to turn into a hagsfiend or something. It would have driven him over the edge and that was one thing his character was good at portraying...like when he went through that identity crisis in Exile or when he was freaking out the entire time of the Golden Tree... >
