If they stop classifying it as a schedule 1 drug it should be way easier to legalize, tho

If they stop classifying it as a schedule 1 drug it should be way easier to legalize, tho seriously? damn it. though even if places got lenient, that'd be great! basically every big name retailer here does drug testing upon hire and "at random"... it's hard finding places which don't. honestly i'm so tired over the war against marijuana. especially medical marijuana... but no, doctors keep prescribing patients vicodin and oxy (when in some cases, marijuana could suffice) and those people may end up getting inadvertently addicted to opiates and end up turning to heroin. it's tragic.

In fact my only issue with recreational marijuana is that apparently once it got legalized here, prices for medical cannabis went up and that makes me feel slightly guilty, lol. but of course in the long run, it's also got tons of benefits? It's highly taxed, and those taxes go to things like schools and infrastructure, plus crime rates went way down in WA and CO. tbh if it were up to me, as someone who grew up with a mom who smoked tobacco, I'd ban cigarettes bc they are ACTUALLY harmful? the only way weed is dangerous is if u drive while high, and ppl do that whether its legal or not lol.
