And I know that all to well Flame thought to himself.
It was turning night and Flame had already gone to his den. However he was to restless. He often found himself laying down and then all of a sudden pacing back and forth, murmuring "Lily, Lily, Lily" over and over. Shush yourself, everyone will think you've lost it. He'd say in his head, but that only seemed to influence himself to do it more. Maybe I just need to take a walk. Flame walked out of his den and stretched, shaking the frost off his paws from the ground.

Rabbit kneaded the moss again, trying to get comfortable so she could actually fall asleep. She curled into a ball and closed her eyes, trying to drift into sleep. The little calico tabbypoint woke to soft grass and a gentle breeze. She purred happily and wondered if she would see the tom again. Rabbit laid down in the semi-tall grass and rolled in it, small drops of dew dampening her fur.

Amber noticed Rabbit and shook dew out of his fur. "Good evening."
Flame padded about the camp, not wanting to take a walk, but not wanting to stay in the camp either.

Rabbit pushed herself out of the grass and bounded over to Amber. "Hello!" She mewed happily in return to his greeting. Her tail swished from side to side. Her bright eyes followed his movements and her ears were trained on his words.

"So I just so happened to notice that your tribe had a need for yew, am I correct?" Amber asked Rabbit, testing how well and how much she learned from Flame's mishap.
Flame, almost disgusted in himself went back into his den and laid down, after circling around a couple times.
"Flame"
Flame looked up "Lily, what's wrong?" He sat up and wrapped his tail around his paws.
"Nothing, now that that owl mishap is done and over with. You know you'd think a healer of all cats would know if an owl was mad." Lily teased. "But then again, said healer is mad enough to take advice from a figure of their minds, even technically a ghost."
Flame seemed to flick the notion away with his tail. "What's the news in Starclan?"
"Well, seems to me that you might take in a to-be soon." Lily spoke to Flame.
"What do you mean?" Flame asked in return?"
"Well, that is the hard part, it'd be easier to show you, but for that you must sleep."
"If sleep is what I must" Flame replied, closing his eyes. Wariness began to take hold, and soon enough, he was dreaming. however is wasn't just any dream, it seemed oddly familiar. Out of range of hearing, a small calico she-cat and a white & amber tom were having a conversation.

Rabbit shook her head. "I don't think so, but I still don't see how yew helped much. The berry is poisonous and I wouldn't think the leafy tendrils would do much. What about that tall plant with the little white flowers. That started with a Y, right? I think he mentioned it. But if Flame vomited, shouldn't he have still taken another herb to counter any poisons left in his body?" She mused, ending with a question as she recalled his actions. "And his paws, we would have to step in a creek or some water source to make sure nothing bad clung to him." She continued, her curiosity driving the questions. She found it fascinating that a plant could do so much to heal a cat, especially when used alongside other herbs.

Both are used as a anti poison, and both cause vomiting if consumed." Amber said. "However, Yew also carries Deathberries, and those are fatal. Why Flame said Yew instead of Yarrow, it could be that he knew that there was no Yarrow nearby or in his den, so he fell back on Yew. Reckless, but quick thinking." Amber continued, making it obvious that he did not particularly like Flame, but did give him credit to action. "As for his paws, back when I was healer, there was a hot spring stream in the back of the healer's den. I used it to wash my paws, as I assume Flame does to." Amber paced back and forth, unaware of the second spectral looking she-cat and the midnight black tom behind him. "Now, Rabbit. Do you any idea what could have caused that owl to go mad enough to be unable to safely land, thus breaking it's wing?"

Rabbit nodded, allowing the information to wash over her. When the question was asked she had to take a moment to think. "well, it couldn't have been a fox, wolf or badger because I don't recall that any of them can climb trees, therefore not posing a threat. ...So maybe.. it was a storm? A sudden burst of lightning or thunder could have startled it, but that wouldn't make sense as there hasn't been a storm and the owl wouldn't have bad blood. Then the only answer left is it was sick and dying, causing it to act different than it normally would have. The sickness would have been bad for a cat so that's why Flame asked for herbs." She mused.

"Ah, Lily, you startled me." He looked over at Flame "You may Lily, but tell me why you brought him." "To show him his up and coming to-be." She replied and shortly after added "Lay off it Amber, he is doing nothing wrong." Amber grumbled. "Well, I suppose." After turning his attention back to Rabbit, he continued,"Ah, yes, the owl had to be sick. More than likely truly mad from the sickness as well, didn't know right from left anymore, that sort of thing."

(I'm so sorry for not replying! This got lost under a bunch of other stuff ;O; forgive me!))
Rabbit was confused as two more cats popped up in her dream and she noticed one of them was Flame. That's weird. She returned her attention back to Amber, he tail swishing back and forth in the grass. "What would happen if a cat had that sickness? Would they act out with impulsive actions, but be saddened by their confusion, not knowing a cat from a mouse? Or worse... A fox?" She asked, scared that something like that could happen. "And if Flame had gotten the sickness from the owl, could that have lead him to kill a clanmate by accident? Mistaking them for something else? Like me as prey?" She asked, curiosity starting to push through her. It would be interesting. She got to her paws and began pacing in thought, no longer wanting to stand still. "And what herbs could cure it? Fevers can cause slight distortion of reality, so maybe feverfew or catmint and it's not poison or they would be to weak to move at all, to make mistakes. Maybe... How Flame had killed the owl... The only cure is death?" She turned to look over at Flame then at Amber, her eyes watching him for confirmation.
(Gosh darn it! I tend to put my thoughts into my characters and it makes them seem older than they are DX )

Amber's glow began to dim "All amazing observations Rabbit, however our time is running short, it'll be time to wake soon." Amber turned "Lily. Flame." He said as he padded away, eventually fading into thin air.

"Hmm?" Rabbit wanted to talk more but light filtered into the den and she was awake, laying next to Kite and Maple. It was a soft dawn glow and she wondered if Flame had really been in her dream. Rabbit got up, not wanting to disturb the other cats and carefully made her way out of the den, bounding toward where Flame had his.
