If global warming has ravaged the earth, then sure, I'll join.
Otherwise, heck no. I'd be freaking out about malfunctions 24/7. I also think I'd be too old.

If circumstances change drastically, perhaps I would join. As of right now, being 66 years old at the projected human launch seems to be a little too old for my likings. At least for now. Perhaps my perception will change in a couple of years.

Well if my estimate is true and transhumanism kicks in by then, you can just get procedures to make you look/feel a lot younger, live longer, and just be cool in general

Maybe when were in our 60's and when we go there we'll actually see each other irl. Chances are this website will be long long long LONG gone by then though. xD If this website last that long... it will be breaking a record of some-sorts.

Oh StarClan I just thought of that. There better be wifi It's an entire country, of course there will be yes, but will you be able to connect with earths Internet? What if you never hear from your favorite band? Or think about the cell service. What if you have to wait for the earth to rotate to call your loved ones? Or never get to call them again? It also will probably cost a lot. Really sorry if I'm being a bummer. But phones and radio and such work by waves bouncing off satellites and earth. But... You arnt going to be on earth. And the planet you will be on will be very far away. Information will travel very slow, and unless the planets are lined up, sending waves wouldn't work and some of the info may be lost, again with the distance also. That is a factor, the longer it the wave travels the week we it gets. Another thing is that in 45 years even if they do find a way to communicate with earth the technology will be very young and not to mention expensive.

Asgardia isn't a planet, it's a giant station/ship. You could just use the satellites already in orbit with it, or there will be specific sattellites for the country. It's not going to be very far, just roughly 1,450 miles or so above the planet.
