Ar'yel growled lowly, "Don't you dare blame this on any of us! We weren't here when the pups left and you have no right to lecture us on dangers of the forest. As far as I'm concerned, your one of those dangers and I have no problem getting rid of you for their sake!" She snarled, the hair on her back rising. "You think just because you are a loner and we made a mistake that you can jump in here and play hero. You actually think that you can be a hero to these pups? Then save them from yourself because your the only dangerous thing I see around here! You can't play hero when you are never one to begin with and you can't play hero to pups who aren't even yours!" Noticing Maya hidding behind her she relaxed a bit and gave the pup a small smile. Ar'yel turned back to Gunner, noticing his paw placed protectivly over Una she bit back the urge to snap at his heel. "Who do you think she would choose, you or her mother? She doesn't need your protection, we are her family and we can take better care of her then you ever could" She said lowly.

"You haven't looked hard enough to see the dangers around here. And again, you bring up that same false argument: I never said that I wanted to raise them or care for them. You pull arguments from things you want to hear, not what was said. You say you want to get 'rid of me', well let me tell you something: You would not win that battle. You think you know what you're saying, but wolves like you, full of empty threats and lies, really don't. Want an example? You say I wanted to play hero, well guess what? There's such a thing as playing hero, and doing the right thing. Therefore I am not playing hero, I am doing the right thing. Answer me this, do you think it was in anyway your fault that they wandered out here? And don't start saying I think it was specifically your fault, because I don't, I'm talking to all of you." He spoke in a firm tone, giving her the evil eye. She-wolves, always assuming the worst! No wonder he left Rain with no regrets. He stood in front of Una instead of just putting his paw in front of her.

Ar'yel bubbled with anger. "I wouldn't have touch you to win the battle. With one mental flick you would be filled with excruciating pain that I'd continue to give you until you stepped aside." She growled lowly, almost surprising herself. She'd never, ever wanted to use her powers to give pain on anyone. But something seemed to posses her and she wanted him to move to fight. She wanted to hurt him. Ar'yel tried to shake the feeling and continued talking. He laughed bitterly, "Oh, so now the big bad wolf is doing the right thing?! Because we all know holding pups against their will and refusing to let them go back to their parents is the right thing to do. So very galliant and brave." Her sarcasm dripped from her tone with a biting edge. "And no, none of this was my fault, I take no blame in it. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to come to help them get away from you. Obviously you assume to much if you think I would be so petty as to think you thought it was all my fault. It was no one fault. No one is to blame here, not the adult's and not the pups." She snarled.

"Wrong answer." Was all Gunner said, to everything she had said. He knew she wouldn't fight him unless he had endangered her life or the pup's lives. In which he did not. In his opinion she was cowardly, a know-it-all, self righteous, and egoistic. But, he did not want to start a fight with the younger ones watching, unlike her who most likely thought it was okay. After all, her and her pack don't want to admit that they were the ones that caused this mess. And if they just did as he had asked they could leave. It really wasn't hard, but they just wanted to make it so.

Noki had stayed silent next to Ar'yel, his anger rising. His hackles were up, his lips pulled back in a snarl.
He dug his paws into the earth, his nails sharp and strong.
The silverish pup wanted to rip Gunners face off right there and then.

Ar'yel smirked, "I'm afraid I wasn't looking for your opinion of a correct answer. I don't think you even know what your talking about in the first place" She snarled. "We are going to leave with all of these pups whether you like it or not. You can either step aside and let this go peacefully, or we'll make you move" She growled lowly. Apparently she had been wrong back in the cave. The nasty, trouble-causing, murderous wolf was still there and she refused to leave pups with him. And he was a fool if he thought he could win this battle.

Finally Bane and Aster had caught up to the others. Aster charted forward, her hair already standing up. Bane walked stiffly toward the arguing voices, a growl rising in his throat.

"Why can't you talk civilly? It is quite petty actually. You do understand that Brute force is not always the answer." He responded, trying to keep his tone calm and steady. If he could talk to whoever was in charge of the pack or the parents everything would be okay, "Plus, why do you want to shed blood in front of young wolves who should not have to see it until they are ready?" She questioned Gunner's skills, and now he was questioning her's what a hypocrisy displayed before him!

"Well being nice to you before certainly didn't work. Maybe I'm just trying to speak your language" She growled defensively. "And I don't want to shed blood, but you aren't moving. If your so concerned about them seeing anything nasty, why don't you let us take them and leave? Your the one causing the problem" She snarled, growing impatient.

The white tipped tail of Noki's twitched, and he desperately wanted to kill the wolf in front of him. He let out a soft growl.
Standing up to defend his packs honor, he let out a loud bark. The young wolf was sick of waiting. "You have no right to keep us here! You're a strange loner wolf who has no life or family!" He snarled.

"If I don't have a life how come I'm living?" He glared at Noki And there is a thing called compromise, give a little to get a little. So act like adults and cooperate. I want to talk to the parents, you want the pups. I talk to the parents and you get the pups immediately after. Why is that so hard to understand?" Gunner was trying hard to keep the wind from blowing around in the cave. He was capable of almost 100mph winds, and that was enough to knock any wolf off of their feet. No matter how much they gloated about their own powers.

"What is going on?" Bane demanded, finally reaching the rest of the pack. He could see a wolf he had never met before and it looked like the pack wasn't happy with him. Aster laid her ears flat.

Ar'yel rolled her eyes, "Because their parent's aren't here! I don't know where they are. By now they're probably running around frantically trying to find the pups. Why is that so hard for you to understand?" Ar'yel growled, countering his question. Hadn't she already explained this to the wolf. Of course he probably wasn't listening. He's just blabbing about how much he was right and they were wrong. He didn't need to give the parent's some lecture on how to take care of pups. They know the dangers, and they know how to take care of them. Obviously he didn't, he'd never had a pup before. The only pup he'd probably ever known he killed. Great parenting on his part. Ar'yel stopped her bitter thoughts, trying to push her focus back to just getting the pups. That's what was important here. Ar'yel jumped a bit at Bane's voice and turned to look at him. "This loner took Rain's pups and won't give them back until he speaks with their parent's. He says it our fault they got out because we were being a bad pack" She huffed in annoyance.

"That is what you want to think isn't it? Gunner retorted to her horrible explanation of what was going on. "I did not kidnap them if I was going to search for their parents if they did not come by sundown. And you still don't get it. If you were such wonderful caretakers how come they ran off? See, now we're just arguing in circles. Cooperate and we can put this behind us. It is not hard to understand." But he thought to himself *then again, judging by your previous arguments maybe it is hard for you to understand* "and maybe you should stop standing here and get their parents so we can all leave."

Rain swayed between the rocks and trees of the forest, her all black pelt gleaming in the hot blaze of the sun, her eyes blue like the lake she was headed to. She knew her pups always loved the lake and there was a possibility they could be. Rain started to break into a run, feeling the wind ruffling her fur always made her feel safe and at home, even in this worrisome moment. Rain knew if she started to freak out her mind would get Haley and she would never get to her pups. Rains powers started to kick in at this moment, making sparkling beings of the great ancestors before her, weather they be a great wolf, a human, a hawk, and even the smallest mouse, she saw it all, she understood them as well. Rain sighed and breathed in the fresh air while looking around at her ancestors of all species, their memories glistening in the air. Rain saw the big waterfall come into view, meaning she'd made it to the lake. Rain stopped in her paw steps and took a slow walk to the lakes edge before sitting down. Rain looked around at the place around her, finding, and loving the beauty of it all. The voices and images swirling about in her head at she still watched the sparkling figures around her, she watched a small, rabbit fly out of the brush, sparks following his spear, soon after, an outline of a wolf with smoke to color in his broad shape, chased after him. Rains ears twitched as she followed the chase scene, each turn making the rabbit go faster. Her mind had switched from the pups to her thoughts.
Basil couldn't help but lash out and step in between the two, "Alrigh! That's enough!" He then turned from Ar'yel to Gunner, "no need to act like this! We are wolf's! not bears! We never influence young pups like this!" He turned to Ar'yel, "don't put a useless argument like this! I know you mean well, but feuling the fight more!" He then turned towards Gunner, "I was looking for these, they should the rules they deep in training! There's no need to hold them captive like you found them hurt. We would never take them to the waterfall so often that they know the way by heart if it was dangerous. Yes, it a birdbrain move more Una to move into your territory and I deeply sorry for that." He then looked down at Una with a scolding face, though sympathy was starting to show as well.
Una jumped at her usually playful and caring uncles grown, she had never heard him so that before, but she knew he would never wish any wolf any harm. It would be highly unlike him.
Maya laughed, " this is so much cooler than our usuall rescue or hunting trip!" She couldn't help but howl. Maya almost never could keep her muzzle shut for long.
Basil suddenly got glimpses of sparkling wolves sitting around them, ancestors watching on. Basil stepped back as he saw them, rain! She's near! he thought. He then shook his head a bit and looked serious around, giving room to the two new wolves in the conversation. "The ancestors are looking on," he said deeply.
Una jumped up, "where!?!" she yipped,
Basil smiled, "you can not see them young one, only me and rain can now. Her powers just got me, she must be near by," he explained.
Rain flicked her ears, hearing growls. The spirits quickly faded away into the sky. She stood, fur rising as she heard smaller barks. She broke into a trot and saw, hearing the whole conversation. "You have no right to take me pups!" She growled, looking hostile as she slowly walked through the bushes, hackles rising, with the light whinned on her in a shadowy way.

"Maybe you should ask him what happened what was going on before you act like I murdered them" He motioned towards the male and growled at Rain before looking to the new male wolf, "I thank you for acting civil. Are you the Guardian of these pups?" He questioned

Rain kept low, she wasn't necessarily meaning to look hostile or scary, but her dark pelt and sharp eyes made it hard for her to kind in this lighting. "I sense what happened, I can hear the ancestors speaking about what happened," she said, her voice low and a bit shakey.
Basil sighed, "they ran off at dawn. They met a lost house dog," he explained.
Una shook her fears away and smiled, "mama!" She howled before trying to weave herself in between Gunners leg. She ran over to her moms side and reached her neck up. Rain let out a sigh and sat, nuzzling her youngest daughter.
"I was so worried!" She said shakily, squeezing her eyes shut.
Una squirmed a bit, her tail wagging so hard her butt was moving along with it. "Maya! Come meet my mom!" She howled. Maya laughed and ran after her friend, slipping and toppling mover Una.
Rain laughed a bit.
Basil smiled at reunion, but kept his ears faced towards gunner, "I do thank you for protecting the pups. What I don't understand is that you won't give them up!" He said, trying to keep his voice calm. He started to hope the other wolves would butt back in to the convention.

"I never said I wont give them up, I said I want to talk to their parents, or parent, before they head home. That's all." He spike in a steady tone as well, not wanting to start another fight. Unlike the other wolf, this male seemed more level headed. And for that, Gunner was greatful. He lifted up his paws as to not step on Una when she ran to her mother. He was dumbfounded that that sweet pup came from her. Rain was the complete opposite

Basil looked at him challengingly, "okay. Did the pups ask to leave?" He asked, "did you let them?" He continued while keeping his words smooth and calm.
Tain huffed and looked up from the pups and huffed, "you dif do the right thing to mak sure they were okay and to keep them that way. We are greatful." She then looked towards Basil as if to say, 'Basil agree'.
Una tackled her friend Maya before looking up and searching for her brother, who hadn't said anything for a while. Maya recovered and say back up, her ears flopping down to cover her eyes again. Una looked at her friend and tried to flop her ears down, but the results were only her looking constipated. Maya laughed at her friends face and wagged her tail a bit, jumping onto her friend again.

"Noki asked to leave, Una didn't mind. They had all of this space in here, they were not deprived of anything if that was what you were suggesting." Gunner spoked. He turned to Rain and nodded his head in acknowledgment of her gratitude. He was slightly shocked that she didn't start a fight.

Rain nodded back as a response before looking back down to watch the pups.
Basil's tail started to sway back and fourth as he tried not to get mad. He looked towards back towards Gunner, "looks like your finally cooperating. Maybe you could tell us why you kept Maya and where she came from? If you even kept her," he pushed on with pressuring eyes.
Maya rolled over back to her greet and howled, "I'm a house dog and that's it!"
Rain laughed, "we know you little googlywoofus!" She said in a playful voice while knocking Maya back over gently with a forepaw.

"Oh her? She left the others when I was bringing them back to my cave. Apparently she found this one over here and they have been playing together or something. Don't assume I took her in too without thinking about where she is coming from. I have more common sense than you think." Was everyone trying to start a fight? By the looks of how things are going, yes, yes they were. "Well now you have your pups back, you can leave. And you will leave." He said in a monotone voice. Gunner was an introvert by far, and having so many wolves in his home made him slightly angry inside. All he wanted right now was peace and quiet, meaning no more canines: wolves or pups.

Una looked around, flicking her ears as she sat, suddenly calm as if the energy had just drained right out of her. Maya looked confused for a moment before shrugging it off and bumping the other wolf back to the ground, but stopped when Una didn't fight back. Una pushed herself back up, deep in thought. "What is it Una?" Maya asked worriedly. "Say...where are your house folk? Maybe I can meet them! I mean, you met my parents!" She said with wonder in her eyes. Maya jumped back with suddenly fear clouding her eyes, "no Una! They can kill you! They may be police but they still hunt for food. They'll kill you if they see me with you!" She yipped. Una looked down in disappointment. Rain licked her daughters ear to comfort her, "you may come along with us until she finds her way home though, it'll be close enough," she said in a soothing voice. Basil nodded towards Gunner before looking from Ar'yel to Gunner, "do any of you know which way she came from?" He asked. (( outcast - do you still wanna be one of Maya's owners? Or was it someone else who wanted to be one.... Lol
