Timberflame with [ Winterpaw ] // Outside Camp
Timberflame couldn't help but feel his ego inflate a tad bit at seeing Winterpaw dipping her head to him in respect. Sure, it was only natural that the younger cats paid their respects to the older ones, but part of him was still proud to know that his apprentice was so well-mannered. Perhaps it was partially his influence that had caused this? ... No, he knew from the time he'd spent with her that the she-cat had always been naturally friendly, which was perhaps why it was such a shock to see her in a stare down with a fellow apprentice. Before the warrior could say anything in response to the two apprentices's bickering, Jaggedpaw had already stomped off. Hm... Timberflame was fairly certain that his apprentice was not one to lie. Was Jaggedpaw really such a troublesome cat? No no, it was wrong to think that. He would have to formulate his opinion of the tom through their own interactions, he supposed.
"Well, it sounds like you've had an interesting start to your morning," the seal mink tom remarked casually, turning his attention away from the retreating apprentice back to his own. He didn't want to outright agree with Winterpaw - what good would that do but encourage her to continue her disagreement with Jaggedpaw? Similarly, he couldn't rebuke her for being angry at the tom, for he didn't know what had gone down between the two. All that the tom could hope for was to try and sound as neutral as possible. "Remember, though, it's never good to have any infighting in the clan," he added a bit more sternly, before returning to his usual hearty tone. "Anyways, what are you feeling today? Hunting? Battle training?" Okay, so it was generally the mentor's responsibility to have a plan of action... but he didn't want to bore Winterpaw with something she didn't want to do, especially after her argument with Jaggedpaw. It could make her day even worse if he did that! Winterpaw watched her fellow apprentice storm off, a broading look glinting in her eyes as she turned back to face her mentor, "interesting is one way to put it," he sighed softly. At her mentors next words she nodded, "I know, I'm sorry. He's just... so.. frustrating," she grumbled finally. Shaking out her fur to make the prickling stop, she straightened her shoulders and meowed, "can we try battle training?" She looked cheerful once again, feeling excited at the prospect of learning something new. |

[ I'm a nice person Rush Yano? XD Hey bumble!!!<3 how are you? ] Grizz looked at her curiously, "Briarclan? Territory?" He meowed blanky, seeming confused. She growled to herself, "Yes Briarclan, I'm from Briarclan and you're on our territory..." She looked around "Can't you smell the scent all around you, that's our scent." Her voice was sort of sarcastic. Grizz shrugged, "I honestly just thought it was a band of rogues, that's the type of scent I am used to.. I'm sorry if I am not supposed to be here though, I can leave," he dipped his head in a mutually respectful type of way. |

Sprucepelt lay out in the camp, soaking a little sunshine into his dark fur. It had been growing a bit chilly, and he wanted to hang onto summer as long as possible. He almost felt bad for their neighbors, AetherClan. If it was beginning to cool down in BriarClan territory, it would be pretty cold up in the mountains. The tom rolled over, allowing his white underbelly to be exposed to the warmth. He'd been rather busy that day, hunting and helping around camp. The dark-pelted tom felt that it was time he got a bit of relaxation time, right?

Silverdapple noticed Sootlight and Sprucepelt as she walked back into camp, her fur fluffed up at the chill. She didn't say anything to the two toms, placing her catch on the fresh kill pile and stretching.

Sprucepelt glanced up, eyes drooped with relaxation."What?" He hadn't heard the other tom approach, and shook his head lazily. "Not now, Sootlight. Thank you for the offer though." Once again, the dark-furred tom allowed his mind to wander, temporarily forgetting the many things he still had to do. As his head fell back against the surface of the clearing, he noticed Silverdapple in her peripheral, and waved a lazy tail. in greeting

Silverdapple narrowed her eyes slightly when Sprucepelt waved his tail at her, not used to being greeted and not feeling like returning the favor. Instead, the she-cat yawned in response and grabbed a plump bird, settling herself a few mouselengths away from him. [ I'm sorry if this is hard to respond to, I just don't think she would approach and be like WASSUPPPPP SPRUCEDAWG ]

No worries, here's a starter c: ] Goosepaw had basically tripped out of the apprentices den, briars covering his fur. The young tom, used to his usual clumsiness, laughed lighlty and began to pick the thorns out. Once his fur was somewhat groomed, he glanced around excitedly, his gaze whizzing back and forth across the clearing as he kneaded the ground. |

Sprucepelt shrugged when she didn't respond - he hadn't really been expecting it anyways? Besides, it wasn't really his intent to get close with any she-cats right now. He'd gone through a pretty rough patch with his mate, and now he was 'enjoying' being a bachelor. No he wasn't, but still. It certainly wasn't time for another relationship. Instead he returned to lazing about on his back, overjoyed by the patch of sunshine.
(Ahhhh, this isn't easy to respond to either! He's supposed to have been heartbroken of late, and I don't see him going out of his way to chat.)
