Blossomshadow focused on picking up the scent of the prey that the apprentice had scented. [How has she not had an apprentice yet? xD I'm asking myself this, not you, Myst. Lol]

Springpaw looked around scenting the air again, this time more carefully. "In the roots of that tree I think" He said unsure, tilting his head to the tree he was talking about since he didn't have a tail to point with.

Springpaw nodded and took some steps toward the direction of the tree. Feeling like he was close enough, the tom crouched and started crepting forward slowly, starting to see the brown shape of the mouse. He then stood still for some moments before leaping on top of the creature, killing it with a quick bite to the neck.

"Thank you Sharpwind and Sunheart." He said a feeling bit embarassed by the warrior's praise. He then stepped away from his sister's side to stand with his group.
Copperpaw nodded and turned to follow Blossomshadow "Yay! We're going hunting! Do you think you can teach me how to fish? It's really, really hard and I end up falling into the cold water." She said.

Springpaw thought he might as well be prestative and inform the warrior of their task. He understood Sharpwind as he often found himself distracted by anything as well. "Yep. We're seeing who can catch more prey. Us or the she-cats".

The apprentice simply nodded and turned to look at the forest and the trees towering over him. He hadn't realized he was so short before he actually took some time to compare himself with other cats. Even his littermate seemed to be twice his size. The tom quickly shook the thought out of his head and returned his attention to the competition.
