Ivorypaw could sense both excitement and discomfort in the air as she felt her fur tingle. She too would've been thrilled if she hadn't been the one to experience Blackbird first paw. "Let's go right now?", she asked the patrol while licking her paws. The cream tabby apprentice headed back towards the camp exit again, reflected back to the badger attack which still happened fairly recently. I was so excited about my first battle... She continued walking forward, lifting her muzzle to catch a scent...just in case. |

Ivorypaw continued forward in the direction of Fernely Fields. She tried to pick up any trace of the rogue's scent but could only smell the familiar streams and a whiff of mouse up ahead. "I don't know if he went back up here again." She confessed.

Amberdusk followed the patrol, sniffing for any sent of Blackbird. She couldn't smell anything, so she kept pace, still scenting the area.

"It's faint." She declared, rushing back up to the group, "But he was here some time ago." HoneyStar looked at the apprentice and said, " I think he is hiding somewhere here. If you roll in the ferns you can hide your scent. Every cat unsheathe your claws now. He can attack any moment." Kestrelpaw listened and unsheathed his sharp claws. |

Ivorypaw's eyes widened and she obeyed Honeystar's orders, sliding out her claws. She pricked her ears, straining to detect any movement in the ferns from the area.

Blackbird had hidden in the bushes, waiting for the right moment to strike. He reached for the closest cat, which happened to be Ivorypaw. His claws slid out as he pounced, finding himself on top of the cream colored apprentice. The black tom quickly recognized the pelt and scent, realizing it was the apprentice that he had found earlier. Blackbird began to regret his decisions as he looked down on the apprentice. HoneyStar growled at pounced onto Blackbird. Now on the ground, HoneyStar swiped at his muzzle hissing with claws out. |

Ivorypaw's ear twitches as she heard a rustling coming from behind her. She whipped around only to get slammed down into the dirt with a startled yowl. Ivorypaw's eyes gleamed with recognition as she stared at the gray tom. "Blackbird!" She choked out before she saw Honeystar dive on top of him. Ivorypaw shakily stood up, brushing out her fur.

Blackbird quickly bit Honeystar's leg, trying to force her to release her grip on him. He immediately tried to escape, keeping his attack stance as he waited for the next attacker. His plan was to get one of them severely injured so that he could quickly make an escape. Falling of the tom, HoneyStar remained balanced and curled her lips. Blood dripped from her ears. "Blackbird, I will kill you!", the leader hissed to the black tom. |

Ivorypaw sharply flicked her tail towards Blackbird in response to Kestrelpaw and crept foward, baring her fangs dangerously. She briefly wondered if she could try out Scorchwing's move on him.

Ivorypaw lunged forward after Blackbird and slammed her teeth into his tail, attempting to hold him back. She winced at the taste of blood getting in her mouth.

Blackbird quickly made a move and lunged for Stormgaze, preparing to create an injury that would bring him close to death, or worse, killing him. His claws reached out for the gray tom's chest. Eyeing Blackbird pouncing at Stormgaze, quickly HoneyStar jumped in fron of Stormgaze making Blackbird claw deeply in her chest instead. Thumping onto the ground, HoneyStar's eyes were half open and blood was leaking out of her chest quickly. Blood trickled from her jaw and down to the floor. |

"Honeystar!" Amberdusk yelped. She turned to Blackbird and hissed loudly. She pounced on him and held him to the ground, her claws at his throat.

Ivorypaw's hit didn't seem to bother Blackbird much, as she was puny compared to his large, muscular build. His claws instead sank in Honeystar's throat, and he stepped back once he hit her. The black cat didn't know what to do know, as he intended to hurt Stormgaze, not Honeystar. But it didn't matter, his plan still worked.
Stormgaze looked at horror as Honeystar collapsed onto the ground, bending over to look at her. The deputy hoped that Honeystar was not on her last life. He lifted his muzzle and glared at the tom who had done, Blackbird. The gray tom had nothing to say, his cold eyes showed what he felt at the moment.

Ivorypaw spat out the tail in her mouth, seeing Amberdusk had Blackbird covered for now. She quickly approached Honeystar. "Maplepaw!" She called out, fear lacing her mew.
