Aspenflower nodded. "I agree." It had always been her dream to have kits, and Scorchwing was a strong warrior; the kits would most likely take after him.

Aspenflower kicked her back legs. This hurt more than any battle! She had another contraction, and she yowled in pain, biting down hard on the stick. "GET. THEM. OUT!" she gritted the stick between her teeth, breaking it in half as the first kit slid out.
