Stormgaze still appeared to be out of it, nodding at he heard her reply. After a few moments he sighed and closed his eyes, smiling. "Whatever.. Just be happy for now." The tom murmured to himself as he pressed against Heatherstripe. She pressed against him licking his cheek also closing her eyes. "I love you...", she whispered to him hoping he didn't hear. Feeling his warm fur against hers felt great to be with him. |

Batflight entered the clan camp, looking back and forth a little nervously as she came in. She trotted over to one of the streams along the edges of the clearing, lapping at the water. Her half tail lashed back and forth a little awkwardly.

Batflight entered the clearing nervously, her eyes darting back and forth. She had traveled a long way to get here, and she didn't want herself to be caught now. She scented the air for what must have been the hundredth time, her tail raised.

Batflight jumped at the sound of his voice, shuddering a little when he sat beside her. She eventually broke into a nervous grin. "F-for a second, I thought you wouldn't come..." Her tail continually flicked back and forth.

Slowly waking up, she saw Stormgaze looking at her. "Hello Stormgaze.", Heatherstripe purred licking his cheek. Her thin tail swished side to side and sat next to him, laying her had on her shoulder watching the sun going down slowly, little by little. She tried twining tails with him, she tried to see what would happen if she touched his tail telling him to twine together.

She was thinking about what to do. "Let's take a hunting patrol, but just tell HoneyStar, so she knows we are gone. Why don't you take Kestrelpaw and Sharpwind with us?", Heatherstripe suggested to the deputy to do right now. She nuzzled him and smiled. |

Batflight kneaded the ground nervously, clearing her throat. "W-well, there's been some talk of you coming back. I hear them wondering now and then whether you'll actually do it." She stood up, pacing a little to calm herself. "Some of them are worried about Dustclaw, too. Other that th-that... not much else has happened."

"Go wake up Kestrelpaw while I get Sharpwind Stormgaze.", the she-cat told the tom. Before he got to answer, she sprinted to the warrior's den finding Sharpwind asleep and curled in his nest. She poked him with her paw. "Wake up Sharpwind. You are going to a hunting patrol with Stormgaze,Kestrlpaw, and I.", Heatherstripe said softly to him.

Batflight seemed pleased that Blackbird showed interest in something she was talking about. "He- he attacked Stormgaze! I heard he was trying to kill him, I did. For a while I heard Dustclaw was dead but now I've been hearing he's still alive!" She swished her tail back and forth for a moment. "Of c-course they exiled him for it. Not that they saw him again, but I don't think he's coming back to the clan."

He woke up glaring at Stormgaze and spat at the deputy," Can we hunt later! I am resting from battle training!" He curled his tail in front of his face forcing to close his eyes.

"So, I don't know where we hunting, but I think we should hunt at Crystal Lake. There is lots of fish there right now.", she replied with a purr to the clumsy tom.

Batflight trembled a little, grinning. "You know, I can h-help you look for him! I'll keep an eye out in the territory and l-listen around to see if anybody knows where he is..." She got a distant look in her eyes for a moment. Her attention refocused on Blackbird soon enough. "A-and then I can send him to you, right?"

"Really?" Blackbird purred, "We could go find him and recruit him. Dustclaw's a decent fighter and he could be very useful. Plus, I'm guessing he doesn't like Fernclan anymore, so it'll be easy." The black tom was now really interested in Batflight's words, and it showed in his eyes and when his ears rose. Stormgaze glared at the apprentice and meowed coldly, "Would you rather sleep or help your clan? Because honestly.. I don't think sleeping in the afternoon is a good idea." the gray tom seemed to be more aggressive now, annoyed that the apprentice would think so highly of himself and be rude to a deputy. Sharpwind meowed, "The Crystal Lake? I see you always going there, so that's not much of a surprise." The light gray tom looked at the entrance of the warriors' den before exiting and waiting for the light brown warrior to come out as well. He sat down and gave his pelt a few quick licks before getting back up. ~Kestrelpaw~ Rolling his eyes, he grumbled," Help my clan..." Getting up, he shook his fluffed up pelt and went outside with the deputy waiting for the clumsy Sharpwind and Heatherstripe in the clearing of the camp. ~Heatherstripe~ "Yes, the Crystal Lake fluff ball. Ya, Stormgaze and I go there mostly at night, so we can relax and forget about our problems mostly.", she laughed at Sharpwing. He may be clumsy, but he was sure funny. |

"Yes, yes I would like that." Blackbird meowed, "Don't be annoying when you find him though. He might not consider tagging along with us if you say something dumb." The black cat had to make sure that Dustclaw joined them, he was pretty much desperate for more cats to join and help in the fall of Fernclan.
"C'mon let's go." Stormgaze sighed, meeting up with Heatherstripe and Sharpwind. "Heatherstripe, where are we going?" The deputy looked outside the camp entrance, wondering where Heatherstripe would choose to go. He guessed that it would be the Crystal Lake, since they often visited it to talk peacefully.
Sharpwind gathered with the rest of the patrol, seeing Kestrelpaw look grumpy and upset. "Well, I can see that I wasn't the only one that was rudely awakened, hmm Kestrelpaw?" The light gray and black cat hoped that the apprentice would lighten up and be more cheerful and more awake.

"O-of course!! I'll do my best for you!" Batflight dipped her head quickly. "I'd better start heading back. I don't want them thinking I'm g-gone too long!" She began scrambling away toward the brush, skidding to a stop before she left the clearing and turning her head back to look at Blackbird. "I'll come back again when it's time for our next meeting!" she said cheerfully.
