Once, long ago, a group of cats, starving and ready to perish at any moment, found themselves at end's meet.
With hardly the energy to keep journeying, and no strength to search for any food, as scarce as it was, they small group collapsed upon the soft earth and began to accept their fate.
However, finally ready to give up, the group's leader, Cloud, opened his eyes for what he believed to be the last time, only to see a beautiful, shimmering bird, once he had never witnessed before in his life, with blue feathers that shivered about like flames.
The bird, curiously, stared at the pack of dying cats, its emotions unknown to its observer. Suddenly, out of no where, it flew down and perched in front of Cloud, gazing directly into his own, glossy gray gaze.
Cloud almost immediately felt a strange source of passion and intensity in the creature's unyielding glare, and felt his pride go ablaze. How dare this worthless bird mock him?
As if it could sense his re-emerging strength, the lithe creature lifted its long beak and let out a cry, one that held both magnificence and sorrow, before fluttering up onto the branch, waiting for its predator.
Calling his weakened comrades together for one last attempt for survival, they struggled after the small animal, who seems to wait for the cats to come near before flapping its way deeper into the grove-like forest. Ignoring all else, including his own pain, Cloud continued further, for what seemed like moons, determined to make this bird his final meal.
Upon reaching the center of the grove, the cats' gazes grew wide in awe as they beheld a beautiful, enclosed area, surrounded by looming oak trees with almost blue-green leaves.
Hearing chirping and scuttling, the oblivious group of felines suddenly became aware of the wildlife surrounding the newly discovered area, thriving with life and, most importantly, prey.
Rejoicing, Cloud witnessed joy upon his friends' faces, something he had not witnessed in many moons. Realizing that the blue bird was what had guided him into the grove, he turned to find the same bird, now larger and with silky, long feathers, to be before him upon a large, rocky perch.
Though it said nothing, Cloud could almost hear the creature's thoughts ringing in his ears. Blinking once more, in amazement of the creature before him, he found that it had disappeared. Frantic that his kind guide had left, the cats behind Cloud gasped, their eyes widened.
Following their gaze, Cloud found that upon his spine was a mark of two blue wings, resembling the blue guardian that had lead the cats here. Realizing that the creature had entrusted Cloud and his friends to protect the beauty of the grove, the cat moved forward, vowing to become a great leader of the allegiance that would protect the forest for all moons to come.
Thus the Allegiance of the Blue Oak came to be.
However, the leader of the clan, the Summa, assumes the position of a king or queen, with the other members of the Allegiance following in rank. They are in charge of leading and running the Allegiance and making sure that all the cats are safe and protected. They are open to visions and dreams. The mate of the Summa also has high rank as a Warrior, and is often included in important decision-making processes.
The Summa position is chosen not by succession of the Magna, a deputy of sorts to the Summa, but the future Summa is chosen by the Medicus who has received a sign of the cat's destiny as a future Summa. Upon being appointed as the successor to the Summa position, the apprentice will then be mentored by the current Summa and learn their ways as leader of the Allegiance.
The Magna, the second in rank, is meant to aid the Summa and is personally selected by them to assist in running the procedures of the Allegiance as smoothly and effectively as possible. If a Summa passes away, the Magna resigns the following daybreak, and a new Magna must be selected within three sunrises. The mate of the magna also receives responsibilities in helping decide on major issues, and conducting responsibilities, should the Magna be sick or busy.
The Medicus is the healer of the Allegiance and cares for each and every cat that belongs to it, as if they were kin. They make sure that everyone is healthy and well-nourished. Being well-trained in herbal remedies, as well as in the stars of ancestors, they are most in-tune with the voices of the past. However, due to their commitment, they are not allowed to have a mate after they have been appointed as Medicus.
Warriors conduct the crucial tasks in the Allegiance, such as hunting, fighting, camp maintenance, and the like. They are the life blood of the Allegiance and always work hard. Every warrior has a chance of becoming the Magna.
Apprentices are young cats older than 6 moons that are being mentored by a Warrior, the Magna, the Medicus, or the Summa. They conduct training daily, and help around the camp, making sure that the dens are intact and that the grove is secure from invaders. At the age of 16 moons, apprentices are given an assessment to retrieve the Feather of Azure, which is hidden amongst the large forest, and must retrieve it before sundown using their senses and surviving the day using their hunting and fighting abilities.
The Matres are queens that are expecting or nursing kits. They are constantly protected by the other cats, and are considered the treasures of the Allegiance, respected by everyone. Some Matres live in the nursery permanently to care for all kits, but most leave and return to being a Warrior once their kits are apprenticed.
Elders are the retired members of the Allegiance who have served their time and are given time to relax in their final moons. They are cared for by the warriors and apprentices.

The common prey in the Oak Forest are:
Mice
Voles
Fish (in the nearby stream)
Sparrows
Rabbits
Shrews
Note: Due to the Allegiance's faith, no bird with blue feathers are to be harmed.
These are traditions of the Allegiance of the Blue Oak. All who share their loyalty must follow.
Upon the birth of new kits.
Five sunrises after their birth, the Matre is to show the kits to the clan and name them before their clanmates.
When a kit becomes an apprentice.
The to-be apprentices come forth before their fellow clanmates and are announced along with their mentors names. The mentors then pass a blue-green leaf from the oaks above as a symbol of their new bond. The apprentices are expected to keep this leaf safe in their nests at all times.
When an apprentice becomes a warrior or medicus.
The clan comes forth and the Summa bestows upon the new cat their full name, and the clan is to chant the new name three times, unanimously.
The newly appointed Warriors must then take the leaf they were given as an apprentice and return it to their mentor, as a sign of gratitude. The mentor and new warrior then take the leaf to the stream and set it afloat.
When a Summa has been appointed.
The successor must then travel to the Star Stone and receive their three lives. Upon earning their nine lives, the new Summa's eyes change from their original color to a bright blue and receive the Winged Mark on their upper back, symbolizing the original guardian of the grove's acceptance of their leadership.
Upon their return to the camp, the cats chant the new Summa's name three times and the Allegiance celebrates until moon high.
When two cats become mates.
When a tom and she-cat become mates, then they must announce their relationship before the cats and then travel to the Star Stone to receive approval from their ancestors. Should they be accepted, they will return with a blue feather. Should they be denied, the couple will not be accepted by the clan.
Night of the Shooting Stars
Every three moons, there is a festival that celebrates then shooting stars that are shown above the grove. During this time, mates often take walks in the forest and spend time together, and many cats propose matehood to another during this time as well.
Day of the Falling Feathers
Once every six moons, a flock of blue-colored birds will migrate over the forest, scattering their feathers in the process. In this celebration, the apprentices are to collect as many feathers from sunrise to sun high, and the winner of this competition is allowed to take their assessment a moon earlier than usual, should they choose to do so.

 1. Every rule that you see here must be followed. If you're not willing to abide by the rules for some reason, then, unfortunately, I can't allow you to continue in the RP. I apologize in advance.
2. This is a drama/flame-free zone. If you have issues, then take it to the PMs or somewhere else, 'cuz this ain't the place for it.
3. There's no line-quota. So as long as you don't type out 3-word answer, your RP-responses are up to you.
4. When joining, try to limit your character count to 3 cats. This helps to prevent un/under-used characters. However, if you prove to be active in the RP, then you can definitely add more characters.
5. Try to be online at least once a week. If you can be online more than that, then that's even more awesome! But I won't expect anything more. If you're inactive for more than 2 weeks, then I'll just move your character to the Elders section. Should you choose to return, you can always reclaim those characters.
6. Make sure to read the About Us & Tradition section! It has some very important information that you should read before joining!
7. Rules may change. If for some reason, I have to add, remove, or change a rule, I'll let you know in advance. This most likely won't occur, but should it happen, please know that you'll have to abide by the modification, even if you joined prior. Should you wish to leave as a result of this change, please do let me know. We can either come to a compromise (if the rule is negotiable), or you can remove your characters, whichever you prefer.
8. Do not join as an Elder. The elder position is essentially where inactive characters go so that, should the member return, they can grab their characters.
9. RP in third-person. So try to use "he" and "she", instead of "I" or "Me".
10. Use ( ) or [ ] when commenting out of character. It helps prevent confusion and makes everything easier in the long run, trust me on that!

Birchfoot - 62 moons; a dark brown tabby tom with pale gray eyes and sharp, pointed ears.
Violetleaf - 34 moons; a dusty greyish black tom; the tips of his fur are coated in black making is pale grey fur darker than it actually is. He has medium sleek fur, a well feathered tail, lynx like ear tips and a smaller lion's like maine. He is still very large, with well muscled limbs; Violetleaf has dark deep green eyes with golden yellow flecks, making them shine like golden dappled leaves.
Brookpaw - 9 moons; this young she-cat is quite slender. Her pelt is of a gentle light brown, and her eyes have the hue of the morning sky. A rather elegant feminine, she has a graceful build which is slightly shorter than the average tom. Her fur is sleek, and quite fluffy, but she licks it to keep it down and smooth. Her smile is often quite warm and caring, with a lot of empathy, seeing as she is a medicus. It would be a lie to say that she wasn't pretty, with her soft eyes and smile, but she often doesn't bother in romantic affairs.

 Minnowtail - 22 moons; a slender gray-eyed silver tabby tom with white paws and chest, and a long, thin tail coated by tabby markings along it.  Featherstep - 22 moons; a lithe blue-eyed silver and white tabby she-cat with a white underbelly, muzzle, and soft white paws; she has a feathery tail.  Appleblossom - 30 moons; As red as her name, except there is a black hue to her fur. The tips of her pelt is coated in black, giving her a dark rusty look, she has long silky like fur and an elegant sleek body. She has a well feathered tail along with lynx like ear tips, she has unusally large paws and a large lion's like maine. Her eyes are a deep cyrstal blue and she has long black whiskers.  Sunfeather - 30 moons; a creamish white tom with dark brown stripes, not only does he has stripes along his back and flank he has leopard like spots. He has an angular face with long pointy ears, he doesn't have you usual M shape on his head it's more a V shape that curves around his ears. He is on the smaller side but uses that to his advantage with speed, he is equipped with lean muscles and short, soft, sleek fur. His coat is fairly unusual, being a 'silver tabby': the tiger markings are of a moderate gray hue that contrasts against the uncommon white base. Along with a slimmer build, his legs are a tad longer than what could be considered normal.

Aisling - 17 moons; a silky cream-silver furred she-cat with deep sapphire eyes. A rather little and slim thing, she isn't very strong, but quite fast. She has a light sprinkling of freckles along the bridge of her muzzle. She easily blushes, and her cheeks often have a rosy tint on them. She has quite a soft, gentle smile which shows the feminine's sweet personality, but with just enough meekness to also show her shyness and naivety. She gives off a very warm, rosy aura. She is very pretty.

Plot Points:
Birchfoot is slowly dying from the remnants of blackcough and is becoming unable to handle his duties as Magna. The clan grows worried about who will step up to fulfill his role.
The Allegiance has been noting some dead prey found in the forest and is worried that there may be an intruder who would harm the forest and the sacred grove. Will they be able to find this stranger?
Literally everything in this clan was created and designed by Sakubi (me).
Please don't still, or I will hunt you down and feed you to the coyotes near my home.

So When I make new cats I usually already have a description for them and its about a paragraph long, can i still use that? If not I can make it maybe 3 three lines, i have a really hard time with two line descriptions.. >.< ]

Ivypaw // 10 Moons // A pretty silver she-cat with green-silver eyes. She doesn't care too much for physical appearance, and will often come back to camp with twigs and dried mud in her pelt. She has quite a lithe, slender build, allowing her to be extremely fast and graceful. She is the very slightest bit shorter than the average she-cat. She walks with an energetic bounce in her step, showing the attractive feminine's spunky attitude. Her eyes often have an arrogant and mischievous glint, while still remaining snarky looking. She is still quite beautiful, attracting cats to her romantically, but she is disgusted by the idea, and cringes at the slightest idea of her being romantic or becoming a matre. |

He is still very intimidating, but deep down is compassionate and patient .
Appleblossom // 30 Moons // Appleblossom is as red as her name, except there is a black hue to her fur. The tips of her pelt is coated in black, giving her a dark rusty look, she has long silky like fur and an elegant sleek body. She has a well feathered tail along with lynx like ear tips, she has unusally large paws and a large lion's like maine. Her eyes are a deep cyrstal blue and she has long black whiskers, Applebossom seems intimidating at first because of her unusally large build deep down . She beileves in doing the right thing even if it breaks the warrior code, she also believe's that mistakes are lessons in themselves and always says follow your heart.
Sunfeather // 30 moons // Sunfeather is a creamish white tom with dark brown stripes, not only does he has stripes along his back and flank he has leopard like spots. He has an angular face with long pointy ears, he doesn't have you usual M shape on his head it's more a V shape that curves around his ears. He is on the smaller side but uses that to his advantage with speed, he is equipped with lean muscles and short, soft, sleek fur. He has pale sky blue eyes and half of his tail is black with two white stripes. Wiilowleaf is sweet but kind of shy, he gets uncomfortable very easily and is seen more as a little brother than mate material, with that his isn't great at sharing his feelings but behind that timid composure he is caring, kind, and loyal.
