Gloria pulled back her ears. "I'm no danger. Like I said, I don't like to fight!" Shrugged, her tan paws shifted nervously. A gulp drained by her throat at the memory of the battle, she was very young. "We don't mean to trespass at anytime, but we also need a place to live and Glade isn't a big compromiser." She shrugged, her brother has always been so impossible ever since he was influenced in fighting.

Amberfern saw that this rouge was trying to be as un-aggressive as possible, and she had to say that she was surprised. Nevertheless... The deputy let out a quiet growl. "We live on our territory. It has been ours for seasons upon seasons. And we will fight to defend it if we have to." She said quietly, meeting Gloria's gaze with an intense stare. "If it comes to it, we will." The she-cat glanced over at Eaglewing, hoping the tom agreed with what she was saying.

I'll have to tell Bumblepaw and Brackenpaw...Raven's eyes were unreadable as they focused on Chase. "Things seem...strained between you two," she observed smoothly, stating the obvious. "But that she-cat seemed like a fighter; she'd make a good rogue if she lost that blind loyalty," she added kindly, her tail swishing softly as she glanced at the retreating, tawny figure. |

Gloria stared deeply at her, blue eyes trying to find a slight shine of friendliness towards her. After a couple heartbeats, she broke the gaze, staring straight at her paws. What do I expect? I'm a rouge and she's a clan cat— the deputy to be in fact. Obviously we won't get along no matter how nice I am toward her. I should be greatful that I encountered them first instead of Glade, we want to be as friendly as we can... this is the only home I know. Gloria sighed, tan chest falling before returning her gaze. The shecat stood up to face them, nothing but seriousness had been shown on her face. "Well, I mustn't say any longer. Perhaps we'll try to keep our distances?" That sounded about right, we can share the forest... right? She spun around and slowly walked toward her camp.
Eaglewing watched her go on. The conversation volleyed between Gloria and Amberfern. The rouge seemed rather kind and approachable. Hmm... he thought to himself what the next step would be. He turned to the brown shecat with a shrug. "You don't think all of them are like that, do you?" He let his voice trail off before a shock spilled through him, yanking at every strand of fur on his pelt, "Wait– what will he tell Sparrowstar?"

Batpaw tilted his head, his large ears pricked for the sound of the river. "Maybe." he replied, padding forward a bit. He reached the edge of a small crest and was just barely able to see the river through the tall grass.

"Sorry, I'll just keep my muzzle shut then." He began to ponder about if he got caught once again, Riverkit better not drag me into trouble again! At least the punishments are not terrible... He remembered when he had to stay with the elders for a whole day. It was not as bad, Cinderkit was interested in how wise they were and their exciting stories. The other 'punishment' he had was to gather herbs for the medicine cat, which was only half as bad as he thought. Maybe I'll be a Medicine Cat! Or better yet, a leader! pride whirled up in his puffed out chest before drifting to reality once more. "Shall we get going?" He asked, head low, eyes steady onto Riverkit to reply to his faint whisper.

Jadepaw blinked. Something about Mistyfur's tone seemed...off. Still, she couldn't place what it was, so she chose to ignore it. "How old were you when you became a warrior?" She asked instead. "Was Sparrowstar the leader yet?"
