Crowsong looked at the juice and licked it off as best he could."When I said I wanted something on it,I meant cobwebs."

"You didn't need cobwebs. Who's the medicine cat here?" She sighed and flicked her tail. "Anything else you wish to complain about?"

"Yes,the complete lack of feeling of community."The black tom sighed and turned towards the camp entrance."Whenever someone needs me,tell them if they're smart they'll stay and if they're desperate they can find me in the trees."He said and padded off.

Mooncloud nodded lightly and dipped his head appreciatively, before shortly re-directing his gaze towards the camp's entrance. Seeing little activity, he turned his attention back towards Featherspark. "I'd be more than happy to accompany you. Seeing as how we're both not at our fullest, perhaps a bit of exploring would be best." The black tom let his tail playfully brush Featherspark's flank, before adding, rather teasingly, "Though, we may want to get-going soon, seeing as two bundles of energy may bear down upon us, before we know it." "I think you're right," Featherspark laughed, offering a long-suffering shake of her head. "They seem to have a talent for getting themselves into trouble only when I want to venture out of camp." Her eyes sparkled as she spoke, her one remaining light enough to show that her complaints were made in jest. Though she still hadn't quite figured out how to handle them even after all of these moons, Featherspark cherished every moment spent with her daughter and son. After heaving herself to her paws and glancing back to ensure that Mooncloud would follow, she began to stride toward the camp entrance. "Just last week, I woke at the crack of dawn to try to sneak onto a patrol while they were asleep, and they chose that very morning to 'explore' the medicine den; Bramblepath nearly had my tail!"

"Too much water."Quailfeather answered."I can just see it:rain and water and therefore mud all over the place.Getting stuck would have to be accounted for but at least I'll know how far I can go." Firestrike shrugged. "That doesn't sound like much fun at all," he replied, glancing distastefully at his own paws as if he might suddenly find them coated in imaginary mud. When he raised his gaze to Quailfeather again, his eyes glittered. "I can't say that I understand it, but you might want to bring a partner along in case you get yourself trapped in the gunk," he teased. "I guess I could be convinced to help you out."

Mooncloud followed her as they began to head out of camp and a small grin creased his mouth, as Featherspark told him of her plight. "Oh Dear, I can see why you'd be hard-pressed to try to get some alone-time. The medicine den sounds like an interesting destination. Out of all places, I'd expect kits least to be interested in, the medicine den would be one of them. But, I suppose there's always a variety of plants and berries to explore." Mooncloud lightly shook his head, in an effort to prevent himself from thinking about Bramblepath's snappy tone. "I'm just glad they didn't go wandering off, like some kits do. Who knows what trouble they could've found themselves in, out-there.."

"All right, then," Firestrike replied with a low laugh, swiping his tongue over his whiskers to catch any lingering scraps from his meal as he nudged the rest of his vole aside and rose sleepily to his feet. He arched his back in a quick stretch, his jaws opening wide in one last yawn, then smirked at Quailfeather. "Lead the way."
"You're right," Featherspark replied, glancing sideways at Mooncloud. "I hadn't considered that, but Starclan knows that there's plenty more trouble to be found outside of camp. Especially little Fishkitโ" she added with a laugh, the spark of concern in her gaze soon replaced by fond amusementโ"He's curious enough to get himself into all kinds of trouble but nervous enough that he'll sprint in the other direction as soon as he comes nose-to-nose with it. Rabbitkit, on the other hand, seems to have inherited my complete lack of tracking skillsโbut she'll no doubt take a swipe at anything that she does manage to stumble upon." The silver queen felt her focus slip as the wide meadows just outside of camp opened up before her. She let her eyes fall closed, relishing the symphony of sound and smell rushing in on all sides. "I forgot how much I love greenleaf," she sighed. "It's beautiful today."

"It certainly is.." he meowed as he let the sun bask his black pelt, and his mind got lost in the past. He slightly stumbled, as he attempted to continue walking with his eyes closed, before he opened them and returned to the present. "Though, I must admit, l find leaf-fall a bit more enjoyable," he purred, teasingly, gesturing his head back to his black-pelt. "Your kits sound like quite the formidable force, so I'm sure you're enjoying this break, as much as I am. Fishkit sort-of reminds me of how I was like a kit. I wanted to explore anything and everything, but as soon as trouble struck, I'd high-tail it out of there." He hesitated before continuing, "If you'd like, I can watch the camp entrance when I'm available, to try and catch the kits, whenever they're trying to sneak out of camp," he offered gently, his eyes betraying the shyness he was trying to hide, as he uttered those words.

"A stick?" Firestrike tilted his head to eye Quailfeather curiously. "Why would I need that?" After a moment, he added, "Are you bringing one?"
Featherspark tilted her head to the side, pulling her focus back to her companion as she attempted to discern the genuineness of Mooncloud's offer. She let only the space of a moment pass before giving in with a grateful sigh; whether or not he had made the offer seriously, Featherspark knew better than anyone that she could use the helpโespecially now that Dustleap was no longer by her side. Catching herself, she squeezed her eyes shut to push the thoughts of her lost mate away before they could darken her gaze any futher. When they fluttered open again, her usual cheer had largely returned. "That would be wonderful," she purred. "SeriouslyโI appreciate any help that I can get." Leveling a playful gaze at Mooncloud, she let another laugh escape. "To be honest, I can't imagine you getting yourself into trouble as a kit. You always manage to be so...collected."

Especially since it's Greenleaf, I should get out and appreciate the warmth and sun, before it's gone. And I'd be more than happy to provide you with some help." He closed his eyes as he did he best to envision the past, and continued "Yeah, I never really managed to get myself into too much trouble. I was always very curious and eager to learn, but often-times, I was already gone before the problems even started. My mother used to tell me stories about how I was never really was too expressive, as a kit. She thought I was usually rather quiet, and mostly, content." He slightly chuckled to himself before he opened his maw again, "Though, I can remember that she would always smile and laugh, when she saw me running towards her with my eyes wide-open, after I decided I had seen enough of something." Mooncloud finally opened his eyes and gave her a weak smile, as a purr escaped his attention, "Sometimes, I believe my tranquility leaves a bit more to be desired, but I admire your spirit and attitude, it's really nice to see."

Here's a super short starter because I am truly awful at them x3) Jadepaw sat in camp, the tip of her striped tail swishing idly as she glanced around the camp. With waking and breakfast now behind her and her mentor nowhere in sight, she was eager to find some way to keep herself entertained for the hours stretching before her.

"You seem to have more of a plan," Firestrike replied with a noncommittal flick of his ginger tail. As much as he enjoyed taking the lead, he wasn't quite ready to call himself responsible for any troubles that they encounteredโespecially with the warm fog of sleep and sun not yet fully banished from his brain. He dipped his head to Quailfeather. "I'll let you lead the wayโbut preferably somewhere that doesn't involve getting my paws soaked."
Featherspark let out a quiet purr, feeling her chest warm at Moonloud's commending words. "Thank you," she replied, allowing a laugh to grace her tone to conceal just how much she needed to hear them. She had never been the type to lack in confidence as a warriorโeven when she probably should haveโbut the other queens seemed to know everythingโ She shook her head. "My 'spirit' has certainly gotten me into a lot of trouble over the years, so I'm glad that it has its good side, too. And I think there's a place for all of it in the clanโtranquility and attitude," she added, meeting Mooncloud's greenish gaze with her blue one. She let a smile creep across her muzzle. "Starclan knows that the clan probably would have liked me to be a little bit more like you when I was young. Still, someone had to keep things interesting for them."

'I see why her up-beat spirit can get slightly annoying... yet, I still somehow appreciate it...' "That's another thing my mother used to tell me about. We weren't exactly in a clan, but she used to tell me how easy-going I was and how others used to commend her for it." He paused, for a bit, before continuing, "But, as you said. Our clan would be boring if we all were cats who acted in the same-way." He untwined his tail and let it slightly graze her back, before he continued, "It's unfortunate that not all may appreciate that, but I'm sure all blends add to the clan in some-way or another." He opened his eyes to look at the queen, and finished slightly teasingly, "After-all, what fun would it be, if the kits were all tame and docile, such as myself?"

Onkรณdis sat within a pool of sunlight, the early morning air clearing up his late night congestion. The large tom shook his fur out before laying down and rolling onto hi back, a purr beginning to rumble through him, the noise loud because of the tom's size. "Nothing like relaxing in the early morning before heading out for a hunting patrol. Hm, wonder who I should ask to go with me. Maybe Mistyfur will let me take Jadepaw out." He smiled and his purr strengthened as he though about the small she-cat. Gonna start from here once more)) After a while the tom finally shifted once more, getting to his paws and stretching leisurely, a yawn parting his massive jaws. The warrior then cast his gaze around the camp, looking for a certain she-cat until he finally spotted her, a smile forming across his features as he did. Onkรณdis made his way toward the she-cat, his large form towering over the she-cat though his face showing he was happy and meant no harm, actually being quite the sweetheart most of the time. "Hello Jadepaw, would you like to go hunting with me? I'm sure Mistyfur wouldn't mind."

( Protractor Aww, I hope you feel better!) "Twolegs." Firestrike shook his head, chuckling under his breath; they were certainly in for an adventure. In all honesty, with all of the troublesome rogues at the border holding his attention, he hadn't come face-to-face with a twoleg in ages. "I'm ready for a bit of excitement," he purred, a grin snaking across his features as he quickened the pace of his pawsteps. "When's the last time that you saw one?" Jadepaw tugged her gaze upward from her shuffling paws as a large shadow loomed across them, her eyes wide with surpise. Nonetheless, it took only the space of a moment for her apprehension to turn to friendliness as she registered the familiar face above her. "Oh, hey Onkรณdis," she replied cheerily, flicking the tip of her tail in greeting. "I'd love to come! I'm dying to get out of camp, and I haven't seen Mistyfur all morning. I've had to search the camp up and down to find her for the last couple of days, actually" she added with an affectionate roll of her eyes; though she secretly prided herself on her ability to find something to complain about in nearly everything, she had always had a soft spot for her mentor. She shook her head, calling herself back to the chance at hand. "What part of the territory were you headed to?"

The tom then got an idea and looked at the small, pretty she-cat. "How about you chose where we go hunting? I'll also monitor how you do and can tell Mistyfur later." He was trying to give a reason for him to be around the she-cat with scaring her off, though keeping his real feelings in was a bit hard for the tom.

(I'm back from Japan!)
Mistyfur nodded slightly as she heard Sootstripe's suggestion. "Yeah, that sounds great. A nice relaxing day by the river... Maybe with just the two of us," she purred and rubbed her nose against his cheek. She took another small bite out of the rabbit and started to envishin where they should go along the river for the day. "We could always go to the large rock at the bank and do some leisurely fishing there."

(Bramble--Yay! Welcome back!! How was it?)
"Leisurely fishing..." Sootstripe shook his head dramatically, his eyes glittering. "There's no such thing. I can't remember the last time that I tried to scoop one of them out of the water without falling in myself." He leaned down to take a bite of their meal and flicked his tail affectionately across Mistyfur's ear as he did so. "But the rock sounds perfect; I can lounge on it in the warm sun while you get soaked," he teased.
"Never," Firestrike scoffed, combing through his memory for any sign of the silver bins that Quailfeather was referring to. Though he'd stumbled across them once or twice, the unpleasant smellโcoupled with the risk of discveryโhad always been enough to keep him far away. "Have you? What's inside of them?" He asked incredulously.
Jadepaw's tabby ears perked at Onkรณdis' suggestion. "You'd better tell Mistyfur that I'm an incredible hunter," she teased, her green eyes glittering with excitement at the chance to prove her skills to someone newโand a full warrior at that. "Let's try the forest," she decided after a few moments of thought. She swiftly scrambled to her paws and shook the dust from her pelt. "It'll be shady there." In truth, with her stocky build, Jadepaw had never excelled at chasing down rabbits in the open fields; she was much better suited to the cover of thick undergrowth. Still, she elected not to mention that particular point. "With the sun out," she reasoned, "All of the prey will have run to where it's cool."

Once they were out in the territory Onkรณdis shifted direction and moved toward the forest, forgetting about the rogues that had been spotted there for now as he spent time with the she-cat. (Jade: It was amazing. Arguably two of the best weeks of my entire life.)
Mistyfur purred and playfully batted Sootstripe's ear with her paw. "I won't get soaked. And if I do, you'll be getting in with me, willing or not," she joked. Despite her joking, a day down by the river was sounding better and better, even without fishing. Especially if she could be alone with Sootstripe. The clan wouldn't burn down if the two of them went off together for a day. Probably.
