Mistyfur glanced around camp. She wasn't that tired, even though she had just gone on a patrol, and wanted something to do.

Firestrike yawned and stepped out of the warriors' den, pausing to stretch briefly before continuing on his way. A gust of cold wind blustered through his short fur, and he opened his mouth to snarl before catching sight of Mistyfur. "Hey," he called, dipping his head to the she-cat. "I heard you had an eventful patrol this morning."

Firestrike stifled a snort. "My favorite type of rogues. They're never happy to just stay on their own territory, are they?" His tone was casual as he sat and wrapped his tail around his paws, but curiosity gleamed in his eyes. "How many were there?"

The tom added with glint of playfulness in his deep amber eyes. The pain of the wounds had mostly faded, but talking to Raven had taken his mind off things for once. Hm. A cat I enjoy talking to? He wondered before shaking off the thought. |

"They always seem to come back no matter how many times we scare them away. I wish I could have been there to show them how we feel about hostile strangers on our territory," he added, a growl creeping into his voice. A hint of a smile crept over Raven's features, and she turned away, depositing the last of the herbs back in their spots before brushing her tail once over the ground to dissipate the scraps. "Perfect," she purred. "It'll be so much easier with someone who actually knows what they're doing. Tomorrow morning, then?" she suggested lazily, glancing back at Glade for confirmation. |

Glade nodded slightly, "Tomorrow morning." He clarified before standing up on sore four legs. "Until then, get some rest." He turned to the exit of the den and started walking out of the den. The dim sunlight of the sunset spilled through camp, meeting his gaze. He looked back over his shoulder, "You'll need it." He finished with a casual smile. "It was nice talking to you, Raven." Glade said while leaving the den and walking to his den.

Raven smirked, though the hints of a smile glimmered beneath her casual exterior. โSame to you, as always,โ She drawled, waving her tail in farewell and carefully stretching each of her limbs before she followed Glade out of the den. When she turned toward her own den, exhaustion spreading through her, she fixed her eyes on the ground and allowed a bit of genuineness to deep into her smile.

Mistyfur grinned a little as she heard what Firestrike said. "No need to worry about that. Sootstripe and I showed them why they shouldn't mess with us, and gave them both a little taste of what the last rogues that attacked us got."

Firestrike bared his teeth in a grin. โIโll happily join you whenever we organize that patrol,โ he laughed, then added more seriously, โBetter to deal with them now than to wait for a full-out battle. He turned to Mistyfur, adding, โGood to hear they were no match for a pair of our warriors, though.โ He lifted his chin proudly despite the fact that he had little to do with the actual victory.

(Oh also, I'm working on getting us another border clan, and they're ready to have one of their patrols run into Sparrowclan's(!!) so ๐๐ช๐ป๐ฝ๐ฑ ๐๐ป๐ช๐ถ๐ซ๐ต๐ฎ Cloud would you guys be okay with having Firestrike, Mistyfur, and Leafpelt bump into them? (That sounds great! Just a heads up, I'll be spotty this weekend, I'm going on a vacation with a friend. I should be able to reply when I have a minute, but no guarantees there'll be service, sorry! I also have a huge research paper I'm working on, and other life issues... I never get a break, lol. I'll be as consistent as I can!)
Leafpelt purred. "Hey, how about we all go on a patrol? We might run into the rogues, and if not, we'll at least get something to do. It's boring around here." She complained, flicking a bit of leaf off of her pelt with her tail.

(Jade, sounds good to me.) "Fair enough, fair enough." Bumblepaw commented, sitting down next to the river slightly upstream of where Batpaw had set up camp. 
Batpaw fell silent as he focused on the water rushing past his paws as he waded into the river. His tail twitching anxiously, the black tom was careful not to splash too much as he scanned for any prey. |

"I could tell her... Of course she might tell me to stay in camp since I've been patrolling in one form or another in every second of my spare time lately." Mistyfur commented. |

Firestrike huffed out a laugh. "Well I'd like to get out of camp for at least a few minutes. I doubt she'd mind an extra patrol checking the opposite border." He shrugged and glanced at Mistyfur guiltily. "If you need a rest, though, I'm sure we can handle it. You have been at the center of the action lately."
