What I did today... Watched anime while supposed to be working on reading a drivers manual. Sounds productive right?

Why is it that I'm into the romance ones but not really any others? *Starts questioning personality*

...*shrugs again* Uh, because a lot of animes are romanced based? Because they had their good points? I don't know, but I highly doubt that it suddenly changes your view of your personality.

You're asking this of the cat currently throwing together a Ravenloft 2nd edition campaign? I do know a thing or two.

*everything Bramble said goes shooting over Mint's head*
*in a weak voice* Know anything about classes? Apparently, the newest room in TPH is DnD and I know nothing about what's happening. ^^'

First question, Magic, Melee, or Stealth? Or do you want me to just give you a rundown of all of them?

*voice grows weaker* All of them. And what's the difference between the three? O.O

*Crys in the background because of anime* *Pulls self together* Well, theres actually four, as magic is split into 2 types. Theres Arcane magic, and Clerical magic. *Puts on reading glasses Bramble doesn't really need* So. The big difference is that Magic is the guys that use spells, Stealth is your rouges and assasins, and melee includes barbarians and paladins. So, starting off With melee, The classes are; Fighter, just your standar brawler, they can do pretty much anything that doesn't involve magic or stealth Monk, Martial artists that channel the power of Ki (Or Chi, doesn't really matter what you call it) to either become better fighters, cast spells, or be ninja's. Their cool no matter how you look at them. Paladin, Holy Knights that swear an oath for... well, I won't go into to much details there... They are essentially knights that fight for a particular deity. Bad explanation, but if you don't know what paladins are *Glares* I'm dissapointed with you. They also have light use of clerical magic Barbarians... I think you know what a barbarian is... Ranger, essentially part fighter, part druid. Need I say more. Quick question before I go on, am I going into to much detail?

Next up, Stealth;
There's only one specifically stealth class. Thats the rouge. However, at third level rouges split into three different options. Theres the theif, the sneaky guy who goes for gold. Theres the arcane trickster, a rouge that uses magical tricks. And finally theres the assasin... I don't think that I need to explain that one.
However, the Monk has an option that makes them essentially a ninja... so I guess that they could count as one.
*Breaks down and continues crying about anime*

Alright, alright. What happened in the anime? o.o
I'm interested in the Magic class, since I think that's what I need to know the most about.

*Perks up a bit* Oh... just the saddest ending I have ever seen... anywhere. In years... more like ever. Dang it anime!!! I was on a no crying streak to *Perks up more* arcane or clerical? I did tell you they were different things right? Anyways. Back to explanations *Fixes glasses* On to Cleric Magic. There's two classes that are specifically clerics. They are; Clerics. Preists who devote themselves to a deity and perform said deity's will. They are armed with powerfull spells that the deity grants them. And Druids. Druids are followers of the old ways, and essentially the preists of nature. Other than that and slightly varied magic... they function like normal clerics. As mentioned before, Paladins and rangers are essentially half fighters and half clerics.

Arcane. I think. But Cleric might be an option, come to think of it. I'll come back to that later and ask for mor details.

Alrighty then, onto the final type... Also coincidentally the only type that I completely fail at playing Arcane Magic!! There are three specific classes that I can think of that are strictly Arcane magic. There's the wizard. A Scholar that studies magic and gets to choose between eight different feilds to specialize in. (Warning, if I go into more detail here you're brain might blow)... need I say more about them? Then there is the Warlock. Their the closest an arcane wizard gets to being a cleric. They make a deal and sell... well their soul... to a specific powerful denizen and get insane magical powers because of it. To the point where they can even conjer wepons out of thin air! Last but definetly not least. By far my favorite (out of the arcane spellcasters that is...) The sorcerer! Sorcerers are born with natural magical abilities. These abilities either come from dragon ancestory (my fav... so fun to make these charaters) or wild magic. Dragon ancestory gives them elemental abilities, an aura of fear, and even allows them to grow wings! Wild magic harnesses the magical potential of the world around them and produces strong magical effects. Just there are a few side effects.... yeah... As mentioned before, the monk and the arcane trickster combine their respective classes and the Arcane magic realm.

Ooookay. So I've narrowed it down to Wild magic sorcerer and Cleric. Is there anything else you can tell me about what they do and look like traditionally? :3
You are being very helpful Bramble. Thank you very much.

I try Here's some music to help your head not to explode with what comes next. Okay then, on with the Wild Magic sorcerer. So, wild magic sorcerers get their power from some ancient encounter from ages ago, or their own life. For example the blessing of a dryad, or drinking from a magical fountain could both spark sorcery in you or your decendents (or both...) This is very important though, you don't choose it. It chooses you. It might even skip generations and then unpredictably someone receives it. With wild magic, you gain access to extremely powerful magic, but there is side effects that occur oproximatly 5% of the time. These could range from a random spell being cast, to conjuring random creatures, even turning your skin blue! Sorcerers vary in appearence and motivation almost more than any other class, so literally anything flies.

*Stares at nightcore* You do realise how much Plastic Memories (The anime) has crippled me right? I can't even listen to music or I start crying. No problem. Just your neighborhood Bramble here. (not to be a critic, but you said run of to rp... but I'll assume you meant run off) Yeah, any clothing flies. That does sound good though. I might not be able to listen without crying, but I can still post

Nice choice of songs!
Quick question. o.o What types of spells (non-combatant, maybe? but that would be generally helpful with support?) can Wild Magic Sorcerers use? Sorry for so many broad questions, trying to figure all this out. >.<
