Kayla: Nice! A friend of mine paints singers. Oh, it's going okay. I'm just heavily shading a hoodie/jacket/thing. Bramble: I'm good! Just listening to a lot of music.

oof i just found this chat. i hope your fanfic is doing well. i just started mine. on chapter 3, but i haven't had any luck getting any readers. it takes place in fanclans in fictional alaska. the main character is wolfstripe, a MistClan warrior without too much ambition, but with a big heart. it focuses on a lot of romantic relationships i plan on developing thoroughly.

To be honest, you get a lot of silent readers on the WFF (if you posted it there. I just got back from vacation so haven't checked in). Don't get discouraged. ^^ You want to link us to it and we can take a look?
Bramble: Oh, I'm doing well. Got back from vacation and hoping the guy who was sitting behind me earlier today (who was sick) didn't give it to me. >.<
You?

I have it open in another tab now! Sorry that WFF isn't very responsive. You'll probably get more notice within a couple of days, but continue to check the 'views' your story gets, so you know people are checking your stories out.

Haha really? That's flattering to hear. I've been working so hard on it the last year and I really want to publish something one day.

That would be pretty cool! A lot of WFF authors, including myself, are trying to get works fit to publish. Have you ever heard of NaNoWriMo?

nanowrimo.org/It stands for National Writing Month. Basically, it's a crazy awesome challenge when, in the month of Novemeber, you try to write a novel. Not editing, just writing. I've done it twice now. Well, more than that, but only twice in November, since I try and do it in October too. Anyway, I asked because it's the first day of Camp NaNo and right now a lot of WFF authors (some that are really old ones from way back when) are doing it. ^^ Camp NaNo is a more eased back version of NaNoWriMo. You can create your own world goal and try to complete it in the month of April. I'm working on my Off-Topic-Writing story The Immortal Rules, and basically my goal is getting 50 pages written/revised (whoops, should be doing that now). Here's Camp NaNo: campnanowrimo.org/It's a really fun thing to do and you get to talk to a lot of people. I got into it thanks to this place, since everyone runs off to do it come November.

That sounds really interesting, but I don’t think I’ll be able to finish a whole novel in a month. I have school and stuff and it keeps me busy

Most of the people who do it, including myself, have full-time jobs and/or school. Either way, you don't actually have to succeed in the goal to use the month to your advantage. It sets up a word goal to aim for and either way it get things completed, even if it's just another chapter or even another paragraph. But hey, it's out there if you ever find the time to do it or the will to. Do you like to read?
