I'm understanding it more, ye! Still a work in progress, that's for sure, but there is progress being made. It isn't harder than I thought it would be - the prof is pretty good!

Yeah, bag lockers. They seem to be pretty common. You put in a coin, take the key, and then when you return the key the coin is returned to you.

So sorry I've been gone for so long! Pretty sure the last time I was here was July of 2021. I hope everyone is doing well! My daughter will be two years old in May. Being a mom to a toddler is lots of fun.

It's weird that even though I'm never active, I still make time to check in. Even after a year and a half lol I hope someone remembers me

So I have had this dream to buy all the warrior cats books, build up the collection, so that one day my daughter may read them. And just so, like, I can own all the books lol. Is that too wild of a thought to have?

Also, when did there become so many books? Last I knew, Erin hunter was working on the 6th arc and now suddenly there are eight? Time is flying too fast

Welcome back, Dahlia! It’s good to hear from you again! How are things? How’s your daughter? I can’t believe so much time has already gone by!

I would say 100% buy the books for her! Warriors obviously has meant a lot to you, and it would be great to have something that you can pass onto her that has had an impact in your life! Plus, reading is a great thing & Warriors is amazing… so, I think that would be a great gift for her both now and for the future! It’s never too early to start the love of Warriors and books

^^’ on that note, I once upon a time could say that I owned all the Warriors books. But now I am a bit behind xD I will say that I have all of them up until the most recent bc I’ve gotten behind on my reading and have yet to purchase the newest xD But, one day when I’m all caught up, my collection will once more be complete.

My daughter is doing well! She is a little behind on developmental milestones;she gets speech, physical and occupational therapy every Monday, so Mondays are very busy for us. But she's learning! Today I swear she said "cookie" for the first time. She also did her sign for "help", or at least I think she was trying to. She wants to climb everything so I have been trying to make things safe for her. She just wants to feel big, so she has been standing on anything she can climb up onto.

Also, I'm nearly halfway through Into The Wild. So nostalgic! I'm absolutely loving it. I'm trying to get back into reading, and who knew I'd try to get back into the warriors books

Also, I've kinda lost my voice. I woke up Sunday to my voice breaking. Today I've been trying to rest my voice, and it has me wishing I knew more sign language, not that my husband would understand anyway lol

Surprisingly, no lol. That word was a one time thing. But this little girl will eat just about anything. Her favorite snack are the goldfish crackers, and she really loves raisins.

So far I'm through the first book! It was so nostalgic. I only read through the 4th arc before, as the 5th arc was released around the hear I graduated high school. I think I may try to get into the new books

Thankfully, it didn't take long for my voice to come back! I spent most of Monday not talking, and I think that helped. I still have an annoying cough.

Im not typically up this early. It's almost 7am for me. I have a dr appointment at 9am. Bloodwork to check my thyroid levels. I woke up just before 6am wide awake

My TSH was still high so the medication I am taking, the dose is being doubled. So thats fun!

I have convinced my husband to check out the warriors! I've been telling him all about it and even let him read a page and I think he is gonna check it out! I'm so excited for him!

Only just catching up but 100% you should get the Warrior books for your kid!

Welcome back! How's it going?

I was MIA 'cause was laid low by a cold. Only now recovering.
Germany is *rainy* right now y'all.

I am feeling better. Lingering issues means I've planned to see a general practitioner about a cough I still have. Otherwise I'm good.

My friend took me to get my first binder on Saturday from a trans-friendly store in Berlin, then we went to see dinosaurs, and then the library, and then watched a musical while eating sushi for dinner. Could cry I was so happy.
So I had a very good weekend. :3

Since doubling my medicine, I have more energy, so that's awesome!

My husband is about 3 chapters into the first book. I think hes enjoying it so far. Meanwhile, i read three books in about two weeks! It feels so good to read again.

As far as a favorite character. I think I really like Whitestorm. And Sandstorm. Graystripe isn't making very smart choices. I feel for him though. Bluestar has been far too chaotic since the event with Tigerclaw. And Cloudpaw has been so ignorant. I love Fireheart, but thats a no Brainer lol

In other news, my daughter got a tick bite the other day. Absolutely terrifying. I have gotten plenty of ticks off my indoor/ outdoor cat but never imagined I'd have one on my daughter. Ended up calling an emt over because my husband was at work, so I was home alone and I knew she'd give me a hassle. It was in the worst place ever,for a first time anyway. It was attached to the back of her neck. There's still a tiny piece left. She has a followup tomorrow to make sure there isn't any infection. It's still a little red, but it hasn't spread. It was only attached for about 20hrs,based on when we went outside. So now I'm anxious to take my daughteroutside, in fear of another tick. I'll be 27 this year and I've never had a tick on me. So fun.

Hmm, I honestly wonder what it would be like to read the books again now that I'm older as well. I need to catch up on the newest books, but I also just need to start the books over from scratch. When I read the books before, my favorites were: Brambleclaw, Tigerheart, Yellowfang, Squirrelflight... that I recall. And Fireheart, yes XD But I can't remember what my thoughts are on all the rest  

Oh, geez. That's rough! I hope her followup goes well! I've had ticks crawling on me before, but I've only had one that actually bit me when I was younger, as far as I remember. But last year the ticks were really bad here, and I took my puppies for a walk in the woods.... It was a nightmare! We emerged from the woods and even though we stayed out of the long grass, they somehow were crawling all over the pups! Luckily, they didn't get bit and we found all the ticks. But I want to say there were over 20 ticks and it was really scary bc ticks aren't fun. I will never walk in those woods again XD

I honestly need to read Fireheart’s arc again bc I’d love to read his development and see how much he grew from little Firepaw, all the way to leader (and beyond) //teardrop
&& yes, I agree. That’s why I definitely need to pick up the books again. I’ve re-read so many other series, and it’s always such a joy bc you fall in love with them all over again! I definitely need to do that with Warriors, too. I never lost my love of Warriors, but I don’t remember half of what I use to xD In fact, while I remember certain things, I don’t remember all the cats and things like that… or even why I love the cats I do xD I just know they’re my favorite. I wonder if I re-read if I’ll find that I’ll have more favorite characters xD

See, I always remember her kits bc for some reason I have this vivid memory of reading their arcs while I was visiting my grandparents & I remember being in the parking lot of a store while I was reading the scene that they were trapped in the tunnels xD Lionblaze is the other cat, haha.
