Missing Kits *Eightteenth One (last one) Is Up!*

So, since it's confirmed that Patchpelt is the father of Swiftpaw and Lynxkit and Dawncloud and Finchflight are the parents of Blossomkit and Swampkit, here's the next one. I'll update this thread as more information is revealed.

Missing Kits 3: "Today we have two little kits that were asked for so many times, and now they finally get a name! Can you guess who I'm talking about? It is Ashfurs and Fernclouds two littermates, all of them born to Brindleface and Whitestorm. The first one is Elderkit, mentioned on page 226 in "Into the Wild" and page 113 in "Fire and Ice". He is a dark gray tom with yellow eyes, but sadly died shortly after birth because he was weak as mentioned in "Fire and Ice" and went to StarClan. The second one is Tulipkit, mentioned on page 226 in "Into the Wild" and pages 112, 188 and 227 in "Fire and Ice". She is a light gray she-kit with darker flecks and dark blue eyes like her big brother Ashfur. She caught greencough when so many ThunderClan cats went ill and died because of it, she went to StarClan."

Missing Kits 4: Mistlekit and Snowkit are littermates and were born to Smallear. Though Mistlekit was getting better when she caught whitecough, she was still weakened too much by it, died, and went to StarClan.

*Note: Tulipkit was corrected to being a tom.

Missing Kits 5: "Today we look at Ashfoot’s kit at page 2 in “Fire and Ice” first. This kit is Eaglekit, the same that was mentioned in “Secrets of the Clans”. He was born to Ashfoot and Deadfoot and is a gray tom with amber eyes. He was the only kit in his litter, that Ashfoot used the word “kitS” in Fire and Ice just was a misstake. As we know, WindClan had to stay near the thunderpath because they were driven out. It was leaf-bare and Eaglekit sadly froze to death while WindClan was there. He went to StarClan.

The second kit we look at is little Gorsekit, which is the kit of Morningflower who is mentioned several times and later becomes Gorsepaw. His father is Cloudrunner who was an older warrior and he died defending his pregnant mate Morningflower when ShadowClan drove WindClan out. Gorsekit is a ginger-and-white tabby tom with bright amber eyes. But in “Rising Storm” page 64 it is mentioned that he had littermates! And that is true. His brother was called Quailkit. He was a pale gray tom with a white belly and blue eyes. His sister was called Storkkit. She was a tortoiseshell she-kit with ginger patches and with amber eyes. Sadly, both were stillborn due to the stress Morningflower experienced while fleeing from the attacking ShadowClan cats. They went to StarClan."

Missing Kits 6: Crowfeather's littermates were named Hillkit (dark gray tom with blue eyes) and Downkit (black she-kit with fluffy fur like down feathers and amber eyes). Both were stillborn and watch over their brother from StarClan.

Missing Kits 7: "Today we talk about the three kits of Graypool and Rippleclaw mentioned in “Crookedstar’s Promise” and later in “Forest of Secrets”. First one is Morningkit. Morninkit is a she-kit with very light, gray-brown tabby fur and yellow eyes. As said in the books, she died less then 1 moon after birth because she was a sickly kit and went to StarClan.

Second one is Splashkit. Splashkit is a tom with dark gray fur that has silver dapples like splashing water on it and green eyes. As said in the books, he died less then 1 moon after birth because he was a sickly kit and went to StarClan.

The mysterious third kit is called, as some of you already guessed, Swankit! Swankit is a silver-and-black tabby she-kit with yellow eyes. She followed her littermates to StarClan shortly after Graypool took in Stonekit and Mistykit.

In “Crookedstar’s Promise” it’s said that Morningkit and Splashkit have died, but it’s never said that Graypool did not still have a kit left. The focus just laid on the two kits that had died and the two new kits replacing them in a way, so Swankit was there too "

Missing Kits 8: "Today we have some kits that didn’t die right away! In A Dangerous Path on page 112 Tigerstar tells the Clans that a new litter of ShadowClan kits has been born and now we will see who they are.

The litter was born to the young she-cat Snowbird and Boulder. Their first kit was called Wildkit, he is a silver-tabby tom with blue eyes and white paws. He became an apprentice named Wildpaw and was later named Wildfur as a warrior. He broke his backbone when he was very young and later died of a chest infection, he went to StarClan. He is the same Wildfur that was mentioned in Fading Echoes.

Their second kit was called Nightkit, she was a black she-kit with green eyes. She became Nightpaw and was later named Nightwing as a warrior. After she lost her son Smokepaw, she was killed in the Battle in “Starlight” where ShadowClan and RiverClan tried to overthrow Onewhisker so Mudclaw could become leader of WindClan, she went to StarClan. She is the same Nightwing that appears in Dawn."

Missing Kits 9: "Today we talk about the second litter of ShadowClan kits born in “A Dangerous Path” page 255.
The parents of this litter are Tallpoppy and Blackfoot(-star).

First is Snakekit. He is a dark brown tom with a tabby striped tail and amber eyes. He later became Snaketail who appears first in “Eclipse”. He died of old age and went to StarClan.
Secound is Smokekit. He is a black tom with green eyes. He later became Smokefoot who appears first in “The Sight”. He died shortly after his brother of old age and went to StarClan. Note that he is not Smokepaw who dies in “Dawn”.
Blackstar is also the father of Tallpoppy’s second litter, Applekit, Toadkit and Marshkit.

Marshkit was a white tom with light brown paws and amber eyes. Like his father, he had six toes on one paw. Marshkit gets entangled in a fox trap a few days after Berrykit loses his tail tip and dies because he got strangled by it, he went to StarClan."

Missing Kits 10: "Today we talk about Leopardstar’s three littermates that died together with their mother Brightsky the night they were born. The father is of course Mudfur.

First one is Oatkit, a light golden she-cat with very faint dapples and green eyes. She was stillborn and went to StarClan.

Second one is Waterkit, a ginger and white tabby she-cat with amber eyes. She was stillborn and went to StarClan.

The last one was Carpkit, a mottled brown tom with a white belly and muzzle and breen eyes. He was stillborn and went to StarClan."

Missing Kits 11: "Today we look at some RiverClan kits!

We see Mosspelt as queen in “Rising Storm” and we know she fostered Stormkit and Featherkit, but who was her own kit?
It is Dawnkit, who later became Dawnflower. She is a pale gray she-kit with green eyes and was born the exact same moon as Stormkit and Featherkit and was apprenticed together with them. Her father is Frogleap.

Also in “Forest of Secrets” we hear of a queen named Greenflower who lost her two kits and was going to foster Stormkit and Featherkit at first. She didn’t foster them because she had greencough shortly after and died of it, she went to StarClan.

One of her kits was called Dragonflykit. He was a white tom with dark gray tabby patches and amber eyes. Her other kit was called Duckkit. He was a brown tabby tom with green eyes and a straight tail. Their father was Reedtail and both of them were stillborn and went to StarClan.

Last but not least something you asked many times: The father of Mistystars kits, Reedwhisker, Primrosepaw, Pikepaw and Perchkit is Blackclaw!"

Note: Mistystar and Blackclaw stayed mates until his death.

Missing Kits 12: "~Today we talk about Dappletails litter mentioned in “A Dangerous Path” page 81.

The first kit is called Featherkit, as Kate suggested, and is a deaf white tom with blue eyes. As said in the books, he was stolen and killed by a fox, he went to StarClan.

Featherkits littermate was called Cricketkit. She was a dappled brown tabby she-cat with one white hind leg and orange eyes. She was stillborn and went to StarClan.

The father of both of them is Runningwind.

It’s the only litter she ever had. As we know she had much trouble getting pregnant and her clanmates also thought she is infertile, but she still managed to get pregnant after many attempts. Sadly, also the birth was a really difficult one and Cricketkit was stillborn, while Featherkit had a genetic defect."

Missing Kits 13: Today we finally talk about Sol’s family!

First his parents:
His mother is the loner Cinders, as we already know from the Manga. She is a tortoiseshell and white she-cat with ginger patches and green eyes. If you look at her Manga picture, the black parts are black, the dark greyish parts are ginger and the rest is white.

His father is a loner called Whisper, we also saw him in the Manga. He is a dark gray tom with a lighter muzzle and light yellow eyes.

Now we look at his three siblings, wich were all named by their twolegs:
First one is Foggy, a tom the same dark gray colour as his father Whisper and green eyes. He was a loner until his mother gave him to the twolegs and lived as kittypet then.

Second is Ivy, a tortoiseshell and white she-cat with ginger patches and green eyes. If you look at her Manga picture, the black parts are black, the dark greyish parts are ginger and the rest is white. She was a loner her mother gave her to twolegs. She lived as a kittypet for some years, but later she became a loner again because she wanted to be free.

Last is Sunny, a ginger and white she-cat with light yellow eyes. Again, the gray parts of the Manga picture are the ginger ones. She was a loner until her mother gave her to the twolegs and lived as kittypet then."

Missing Kits 14: "Today we talk about some ShadowClan kits lurking around during “Rising Storm”.

First we hear of a silver queen on page 3 who has lost her three kits to the Carrionplace disease.
It was Ashheart who had three kits with her mate Cinderfur.

The first kit was called Quietkit, she was a brown tabby she-kit with a lighter belly and chest and brilliant blue eyes.

The second kit was called Turtlekit, she was a gray, brown and white tortoiseshell she-kit with amber eyes.

The last kit was called Rubblekit, he was a pale gray tabby tom with icy blue eyes.

All three of them went to StarClan and sadly their father Cinderfur and their mother Ashheart followed shortly after and joined them."

Missing Kits 15: "Only 3 missing kits after this one! We are coming to an end.

Today we talk about the much asked first litter of Robinwing!

Shortly after Fuzzypaw and Robinpaw visited the moonstone they were made warriors. It didn’t took long and Robinwing gave birth to Cherrykit and Chestnutkit in leaf-fall. Chestnutkit got ill at the beginning of leaf-bare and caught greencough as many cats do in that season, he died of it and went to StarClan.
Cherrykit was also sick but she got well again, and when the taw set in she was made apprentice to Sparrowpelt with her new name Cherrypaw. On her second trip around the territory she encountered a fox which wounded her so badly that she died and joined StarClan. The missing kits really, REALLY have bad luck <-<

Chestnutkit was a reddish-brown tom with lighter paws, a lighter muzzle, a light splash on his chest and yellow eyes.

Cherrypaw was a white she-cat with big, dark orange tabby patches on her body. She had a white tail tip and her face was half white, half dark orange. Her eyes were bright orange.
Also, she is the Cherrypaw we see in StarClan in the little story “Spottedleaf’s Honest Answer”."

Missing Kits 16: "Today we have some special kits again: The four littermates of Cloudtail mentioned on Fire and Ice page 191 AND we will see who their father is!

First in the row is Zack, a white tom with gray colourpoint markings and blue eyes, he lives with his twolegs.

Second is Taylor, a white tom with light gray tabby patches and yellow eyes, he also lives with his twolegs.

Third one is Nami, brown tabby she-cat with white patches and yellow eyes, she once lived with twolegs, but got bored of it so she ran away and now lives as a loner.

Last one is Livy, a white she-cat with brown colourpoint markings and blue eyes, she still lives with her twolegs and often wonders where her brother Cloudtail went.

And finally: Their father!
We already saw him in Firestar’s quest page 152.

His name is Oliver and he is a plump, white kittypet with long snowy fur and brilliant blue eyes. He strayed away from home to go on a little adventure and met Princess in the twolegplace. After that, he went back to his twolegs."

Missing Kits 17: "Today we look at Darkflower’s kits which she had with her mate Scorchwind. First one is, of course, a dead kit mentioned on page 93 in Rising Storm. It was called Lavenderkit and she was a speckled silver and black she-kit with amber eyes. She died of the carrionplace disease and went to StarClan, poor thing.

But there were still two toms left in Darkflower’s litter!
First was little Cedarkit, a gray tom with amber eyes.

And the second kit held a great destiny, it should become leader of ShadowClan one time! It is little Rowankit peeking out from his mother’s nest with his dark ginger fur. They both were lucky and didn’t get sick, so they could become apprentices shortly after the loose of their sister.

Missing Kits 18: "Today we look at the final missing kits post. As many of you already have guessed it is about Firestar’s and Princesses missing littermates! So let’s have a look at them:

First we have his second sister called Luna, she is a brown and ginger tortoiseshell kittypet with a white tail tip and green eyes.

Firestar’s first brother is called Filou and is a light ginger tabby kittypet with white paws, belly and chest and hazel eyes.

The last brother is called Tommy and is a brown tabby kittypet with white patches and green eyes.

Tommy and Filou life together while Luna went to another home, all of them are pretty adventurous and maybe some of them would have followed their brother’s pawsteps if they had lived near the Clans!

Phew, all done!
It was much work to find all the kits and parents, but at the end we found many of them! Sadly many kits had to die and many parents were left behind with no kits left to care for, but we also had kittens that grew up to healthy warriors! We are glad you liked our little special and are happy that Vicky’s Facebook page got so lively again!
